A little bit of backstory for CWG. He grew up in Morgantown WV, and had dreams of playing football at WVU. He was a walk on Freshman, but promptly got cut.
He still had college to deal with, but after this blow to what he had wanted to do, he ended up picking up a guitar for the first time and started to learn to play. This lead to his songwriting and eventually his singing. I had him on my radio show on WTSQ right after Seneca came out. On top of being able to give you chills with his songs, he is a super nice and humble guy. He just recently moved back to WV, from Ohio, and I wish him the best with his new album.

He’s on tour right now with Zach Bryan and I just saw them live last week. I was in the front row and it was unbelievable how good they were. Hardwood floors has to be next though you can see the other side of his musical taste
This was a serious throw back to my youth in feeling and emotion. Songs actually telling stories is what attracts me to Americana and Folk music. It definitely made me feel.

I was listening this song yesterday, while I was smoke a cigarette in the window, was very late, I couldn't sleep. It talks about all I was trying to explain to my husband. But, no answer. I live far, in Brazil, and meet C.W before you do this reaction, and I got his message. That's how I see life, like a small blow. Hope more people get the message and give themselves and their loved ones all the good they deserve. Stay safe.

Got really lucky and found this dude about 4 years back. Saw him play solo to crowds of 5-10 people. I knew he was special.
You're the only songwriter I watch react to muisc because you always know the talent. Songwriting is the only way to get a song. Covers are covers and are awesome but the songwriting is why a cover is an option. Anyways awesome stuff as always. Love this tune!!!!

There are so many good ones on his first album. They're almost all gems! But i would recommend you listen to a couple on his new album that just dropped. Temporary Town is my favorite, but Needle Fall Down is a GREAT showcase of his voice.
