lol, hopefully you like it. You will probably have to adjust the string height where you want it... and a little bit of setup. I usually try to sell the review guitars. But I am keeping this one, I got a good one.

I bought the DST- 152 Sunburst Electric Guitar 🎸 and it set up straight out of the Box with the strings that came with it and stays in tune NP. Have bought some Ball Slinky strings 9-52 haven't put them on yet because it's playing good with the strings that came with it.
With some proper modeller/VST it could beat any blind test.... Great job, thx.
Got one last week and changed the stock tuners to a set of Wilkinsons, which fit perfectly with no drilling required. Oiled the nut, restrung with Super Slinkys. It's a hot rod now.

I wish there would have been Donner, Joyo, Chibsons, Bugera, Behringer, cheap solid state amps which sound 97% as good as tubes, etc etc when I was a teen back in the 70s. Damn.
Amps sounded terrible all through the 90s also. Only the modded ones sounded decent.
Behringer make some pretty cool pedals that emulate the sounds of vintage tube amps
My God the way you play that thing is enough to make anyone moist!
😆 But yeah I just ordered this exact guitar and I'm looking at all kinds of reviews on it and listening to how it sounds! So far I am very amazed and I can't wait until it arrives! You're really good bro!

@@HankCoffey Oh Yeah, I bought the 21' long one and realize I could've went the next size down for size and space sake. what you get for the Buck is A win, win. the Bag....is very nice! I'm 64 and just had my 2nd Hip replacement A Month ago. So money is a little Tight right now. But I've had my eye on the Xavier LP550 and that Indio S style.....for A while. I have A Fender Tele. and A Washburn Acoustic that is at least 30 years old .
If you aren't afraid to order from Thomann Germany, check out their Harley Benton guitars. That's mostly what I personally play. I am being tempted by a Harley Benton Les Paul that has a Floyd Rose on it. Black, cream binding... lol

Very insightful! Would you be able to recommend some initial set-up tips apart from new strings? Like maybe lowering the action or using the Allen key to adjust some hyperparameters? I’m buying a guitar (DST-152) after a long time and want to maintain it properly from the start for longer guitar life!
Hi, The setup would be very similar to any Stratocaster setup. There are a few guitar setup videos on my channel, and a lot of setup videos on UA-cam. All I did to this guitar was lower the string saddles.

Hey, I won't be able to shoot a video for a few weeks. There is a saddle for each string. 2 allen screws per saddle. You raise and lower the saddles with these 2 allen screws.
The one thing I will pick after playing for 3hrs straight is frets starting to scratch my fingers neck must of shrunk
hey, i got this guitar but for some reason the mini amp won’t give out any sound. It’s plugged in and it turns on but it won’t give sound. Any idea why?
Might be a factory defect. Missing solder joint, loose wire, bad jack, bad cable, could be a lot of stuff.
Does this amplifier can be setup to play glam metal(80s Hard Rock)?
The amplifier can sound many ways with different pedals. It is just a small practice amp.

My daughter plays acoustic guitar, but I think she would have fun with an electric guitar. Do you have a recommendation for a guitar.
Out of the Donner guitars I've reviewed, this one is my favorite. For a Strat style guitar, I'd go with this one or a Fender Squier. If I were learning to play again, I'd want an Ibanez probably.

This guitar I am playing in this video is great. That doesn't mean they all are. I would honestly trust the quality control of Yamaha over Donner. But you can get lemons at any time. Buying guitars online is gambling.

Yes, the humbucker pickup in the bridge sounds more for Rock music.

Hi Heidy, I've reviewed a few Donners and I really like this one. But inexpensive guitars will need adjusting to play and sound good. This is called a setup. I lowered the strings on this guitar before doing this video. My honest opinion is a Ibanez or Fender Squier might be a better option in this price range. But, if you can set the guitar up yourself, this Donner package is great.

It comes with a small amplifier. I unbox the guitar at the beginning of the video. That shows everything it comes with. There is an Amazon link to the guitar also. That shows you everything.

It's a Strat with a bridge humbucker... good for rock, there are better guitars for metal.
