It really shows how mature and hurt Verosica is here , she's wiling to calmly talk with blitz , and show that she is still hurt , and how that pain pushes her to help others so she'll find a way to help herself too
She is so underrated
I desperately want a verosika short. This show never fully feels like it just has background characters. Even in the actual background, I noticed things and people. For example, walley whackford is selling anti blitzø merchandise. Did him and blitzø hook up?
That way of coping with pain can only work for so long. Yes, you are helping others, but if you can't help yourself, your actions will feel hollow to you. I know because I've dealt with problems like that.
Hopefully Mayday makes another appearance and gets resolution for her own heart break

Blitzø put his legs through the bars while Verosika kicks a bar out so she doesn’t have to put her legs through them. Blitzø is still a prisoner of his own deeds, “caged” by his emotions while Verosika is free enough to not let how she feels about him lock her up.

This episode really showed how Blitz is to scared to be alone but too afraid to be vulnerable and actually being with someone. He pulls them in and as soon as they love him he runs like a coward.

Blitz has serious abandonment issues, combined with his self sabotage this makes his fears a self-fulfilling prophesy, still, there is hope. after all, Blitz and Fizz were able to come to an understanding, and Fizz arguably had even more reason to hate Blitz after the accident. all it took was being able to actually talk to each other and get past the mask that Blitz wears to protect himself. the same could happen with Stolas, but it will be hard...so very, very hard...

Verosikas' feelings towards Blitz are complicated. She basically hates him as much as she loves him. She genuinely cares about him and wants him to be a better person, but until he can show that he genuinely wants to be a better person, Verosika won't be able to be any closer to Blitz than she already is at the moment.

She probably doesn’t want people to recognize him, because blitz hurt many people’s hearts that some might have some sort of trauma. Maybe she just considers other people well being..since stolas doesn’t want to see blitz in that party.
Possibly because she secretly knew he belongs there as he is the one hurt by himself the most as he is a slave to his own emotions. He doesn't want to be alone but his emotions prevent him from making himself vulnerable to people and loving them back.

2:27 Its actually heartwarming to see that everyone who blitz apologize to was calling him blitzo before, and after his apologies and their forgiveness they change their narrative and call him as he wants to be reffered to, with the "o" beeing silent. Same was with Fizzarolli and now with Verosika, she calling him "blitz" makes it much better than it should have been, just that one detail

This really shows Verosika's empathy. Initially it seemed like this party was a sort of petty and immature spite against Blitzø when really it was made to help those who were genuinely hurt by him find catharsis and support
I'm willing to bet that at some point down the line, Blitz will be in deep shit with someone beyond the help of the rest of I.M.P., likely either D.H.O.R.K.S. or Bael (the presumed head of the Goetia family) and will be at a loss of what to do, but Stolas will rally Verosika and the others to give I.M.P. the boost they need.
I think it's rather poignant that the slice of cake looked like a heart.

That, and the black filling oozing out, showing how black hearted he is. It reflects in Blitz' eyes that when he saw that filling, he realized what a terrible person deep down he is.

The way Verosika said “Blitz” instead of “Blitzo” 2:20
She always knew the pronunciation. She just always said blitzo to feel a sense of getting back at him or hoping he would be annoyed. It's only in this scene that we see that they aren't on the worst of terms right now. And she kinda feels bad for him. That's why she called him blitzø and offered him cake. Because he is his own worst enemy and he deserves to be at this party too.

People who are friendly with him call him Blitzø, but when people who knew him prior (like Verosika and Fizzarolli) call him Blitzo out of anger it annoys him. But they eventually start calling him Blitzø as a sign of them moving past the hurt.

Honestly now like my respect for Verosika went up here. Like, she could have EASILY had people gang up on him the second he showed his face to her. But she didn't. At first I thought she was this petty bitch who hated Blitz for no reason. But no.....Blitz has indeed fucked people over. She was genuinely hurt by his actions. Hell, as well can see here she has his name tatted on her fucking skin. (Which btw that's always a bad idea to do). She expressed her hurt and anger to him but she still chooses to be the bigger person and try to help Blitz change his ways. So you know what Verosika? You have my respect now!

Say what you will about Mayday, her anger towards Blitz is justified. And while she accepts his apology, she won't get back together with him. He needs to better himself and she recognises that fact.
I love the fact that she organise the party to help others with their heart break. It shows that she is very kind and considerate behind her mean girl persona.
Cristina Vee gave a truly great performance in the episode..I love the moment where she talks about how Blitz hurt her. You can feel the resentment and pain in her voice.

Don’t think they’ll be able to rekindle their love relationship but hopefully they come to terms and at least stop being hostile towards each other. Think Blitz showing some vulnerability here about how he thinks he doesn’t deserve to be loved helped make good progress towards this.

I loved his scene with Verosika, we see more depth of her character. She was someone who DID love him and honestly wants whats best for him. She wants him to change, and interestingly enough we dont really see her accept his apology. he can apologize and mean it, but in the end she doesnt HAVE to accept it. She really owes him nothing. It wasnt like with Fizz where th two made up and are friends again.
It was a good subversion of what some expected. It makes us see that even though Verosika dosnt have to accept an apology, she really doesnt owe him one, she can still want whats best for him.
I knew I loved Verosika right from the start (in a figurative sense, of course LOL). But this scene finally justifies it.

The fact that characters like Fizz & Verosika who called him “Blitzo” as an insult started calling him by his preferred name when he apologized shows that they do care & respect him at least just a little bit more and that Verosika is willing to mend things with Blitzø platonically
All that remains is Barb, and she’s gonna be the toughest. Most likely possibility is that she doesn’t forgive Blitz, but accepts his apology and moves on from him.

That's not really an excuse,Blitz. Plus, Charlie Morningstar,the Princess of Hell, is the nicest person in Hell so, again,you have no excuse.
Playing Devil's advocate here (pun not intended) for a bit, as far as Blitz may be aware everyone in Hell is shitty. Imps are at the very bottom of Hell's hierarchy, where everyone will do anything no matter how underhanded to get ahead. Blitz may have only experienced shitty people outside his employees and Stolas. The dude runs a company devoted to enacting revenge no matter how petty. So Blitz is so used to dealing with shitty people that he viewed it as the norm. Am I excusing him? No. But I'm also not ignoring what he's potentially had to deal with outside of being nutty and a workplace nuisance.

We met 4 out of the 7 kings and queens of hell, and 3 of them turned out to be at least decent people. And another one of them is still revered as a deity by really sweet people like Moxxie.
Well this Hell is ironically as down to Earth as much as Earth is, with everyone having lots of feelings and issues.

Cristina Vee is killing this role as Verosika. Which is entertaining when you first got introduced to her more kid friendly roles. Or The Familiar of Zero, whichever was first.
I have some odd multiverse timelines for a couple of her characters. In one timeline, Homura Akemi dies and goes to Hell, reincarnated as a succubus. In another, she’s reincarnated as a Sailor Guardian.
2:05 The way she looked away, it looks like she still has feelings for Blitz
You know it really says something about how many people are at the party. While a few may just have been brief flings that attend the party for fun it looks like many of them were genuinely hurt. While I doubt he wounded most of them as badly as Verosica or Stolas there’s something about Blitz that obviously makes some people care about him pretty quickly despite that we never see him try particularly hard to alter his personality. Then his insecurity flares up and he ends the relationship and does something cruel to make sure the bridge is burned and they won’t chase after him. This party let him see that they couldn’t just stop caring and was what he needed to realize his problems need fixing.
Jealous Blitz is adorable😭, and I was glad some good came from this great episode, he and Verosika needed that talk so they could finally have some closure.
Verosika is so chill to forgive Blitz for breaking her heart😭I hope we can see them interact more as friends in the upcoming episodes

This whole episode was Blitzo's ultimate low, but at least something good came of it. You can tell, apologizing is not easy for him. He's shitty at emotions and being himself, because HE DOESN'T LOVE HIMSELF. He should've said that to Verosika. That would've made things go smoother.
This scene really made me love Verosika. I usually see her get a lot of shit in the comments because of the way she acted in the first 2 episodes she was in, but she was able to throw a massive party consisting entirely of people Blitzo pissed off and fucked up. But she still cares about him while trying to cope with the pain he put her through by helping other people cope with heartache. She really is a great character. It's not so much bitchy as it is real when dealing with people going through heartaches like breakups

I’m glad he apologized and they both sympathized with each other. I always felt liked fizz and Verosika did hate him completely,they were just hurt and broken from what he did. They all misunderstood each other.but blitz did the right thing,apologizing to the ones he really meant.

What’s great is she’s got a point, too. Hell’s… well, Hell, and full of terrible people, but actions still have consequences and treating anyone poorly will still hurt them.
Maybe there’s a higher expectation that they’ll be screwed over in a relationship, but that doesn’t mean it still doesn’t hurt and that they can’t be upset about it. They’re still allowed to want accountability and genuine apologies

It's a wonderful story telling moment. It was a cake of Blitz that they all tore into. She gave him back his heart, showing she doesn't need it anymore... and even Blitz rejects it, that's how much he's hurting.
All this time I tried to make excuses for Blitz and antagonized the ones who despised him... He had an awful past, he's traumatized and he tries to be good for the ones he cares about. But after seeing how many people went to a party made simply to hate him and cope with the pain he caused, I just couldn't sympathize with him anymore. I mean, he went through shit, but he kept dragging everyone else with him and didn't really care until he saw with his own eyes how much damage he caused.
I'm glad they showed this side of Verosika, because until now, I thought she was just mildly annoyed with Blitz. She's a celebrity and people love her, so I didn't realize how she really felt about Blitz dumping her. We could see that she's actually a mature, sweet and caring person, who needs to act tough in front of others.
Also I don't hate the guy who asked Stolas to dance. He was kind and genually intrested in him. Even if they don't end up in a relationship, Stolas deserves to have fun and be cherished by someone. Even for a moment.
Having a tragic past isn't not, and should NEVER, be used as an excuse to hurt people.
It would be one hell of a blindside if that is the end of stolitz, stolas gets married to that guy, and that ends that storyline

Stoles, Fizz and Verosika are good examples. And his sister. but hopefully those 2 will make up someday

First time I saw this episode I thought Verosika was going to try and get Stolas to hate Blitz just as much as she does (as show in episode 3) maybe even more but after seeing this scene I do think so anymore. She may or may not have some left over feelings for blitz but she genuinely cares for him and for those he has hurt. She even stopped Blitz from making another mistake when Stolas was dancing and kissed that guy

Verosika's reaction to his apology is priceless! It's about time we get to see the good side of her
Vizzie does a good job of making you think someone is the antagonist when they really weren't. Verosika was never the bad guy but your first impression makes you think it when you see her despite knowing Blitz funked her over. Verosika was hurt bad by Blitzø and she did at one point love him, pain can bring out the worst in someone when they were never bad to begin with. Her talking calmly and honestly to Blitz while still harboring that hurt gives insight that she wanted some closure and to give her party attenders a way to heal and she isn't a bad person at all. Just someone nursing a very valid hurt.
This is realistic. Remember both Blitzo and Verosika were in a relationship, it takes time for any sort of amendment to happen and in this case it won’t happen til season 3 or 4. I happy they are having normal talk at least.

On one hand I get why she's absent in Apology Tour, we'll probobly have a whole episode for that, but it kinda makes no sense for him to not go to apologize to Barbie, even though he was on a literall apology tour. I can relate to that. I’ve had my own issues for a while, and not too long ago I finally decided that it was time I get those things under control. What I’ve learned from this want to be better is that it’s a process, and that if I mess up sometimes, it’s okay. Things like these take time, and when I do mess up I don’t let my actions define me. These are things that I hope for Blitz to learn on his own during his journey of healing.
