    My theory as to what Russia is trying to do with all these operations along the international border is that they're trying to bring in more and more Ukrainian troops onto the frontier. Ukraine lacks the manpower to defend them all at once, Russia is trying to attrite them all to the extent that when Russia tries to walk onto Kharkiv or maybe even Kyiv, there won't be any considerable resistance.

      Maybe that’s the Surovikin’s plan. The guy is actually a military genius who was behind all of the Russia’s success in the first year of war up until Prigozhin’s coup attempt. Every time he came to HQ, Russia did a successful stunt on the battlefield.

      @@cloke3076wasn't the first year the worst year with Ukraines early recapturing of Kherson, sumy and kharkiv

      @@LitaSharif1 Kharkiv was a real mistake because Russian soldiers basically died for nothing.
      Kherson was necessary to leave to save soldiers’ lives and afterwards it was one of the key conditions to attempt negotiations in Instanbul.
      But still the point is that they took the control of everything almost up to Dnipro river and at least made some sensible back and frontlines in Donetsk region which allowed to start that attrition war and maybe defend against Ukrainian counteroffensive attack.

      Attrition is the name of the game the one style of warfare the west always loses on.

      Definitely, and if they have such an overwhelming numerical advantage by now (which they claim), they should begin puncturing the front line in as many areas as possible. Currently they’re attacking outward from Avdiivka and toward Kharkov, and the Ukrainians are already having to pool all their resources just to stop these two attacks simultaneously. Makes me think that maybe Russia should launch another attack into the Siversk salient, as it’s probably been stripped of troops by the other two offensives. Or maybe toward Ugledar, I mean they did spend the best part of 4 months trying to capture it…

    How can Russia de-mine like a peace of cake? And then high tech very expensive US fortifications!

      The cash for nafo defenses went into the Zelyo's pockets and you can guess what will be bought with it instead. If you guessed coke, mansions and designer clothes, you guessed right!

    • @iwams1
      @iwams1 16 днів тому +7

      @@lilacer6841 they tried 😂 but did you see how much money was stolen from the sum for defenses in the north? They could have done much much better but maybe because they dont have enough forces to man these fortifications they decided to spend the money on something else

    I'm not saying Budonov doesn't care, but I think he's been the most sober about this situation. It's like he's told his soldiers "guys go over there report what you see, fire your weapons, and then pull back." The priority seems to be to show the EU and America they're being active, but that's it until the troop numbers rise up and that definitely isn't happening if losses are higher than replacements.

    What I dont get is why the Russians dont do cut off offensives from the start of their offensives...like look at Sumy region, that whole top part is already in a couldren, just start one side and mush through while there is a middle to push slowly...perhaps casualties are too high in cutt off ofensives
