The word "Madea" dates all the way back from southern black history. It means 'Mother Dear" which was used for a grandmother or the mathriarch of the family. Tyler Perry said in his interviews that he called his grandmother Madea but for him the character is a combination of his mother, grandmother, and aunts who strongly influenced him during his childhood. The wife wasn’t right for him, but I think you’re a lil biased because Candy is a “good guy” in this movie. Thats her husband showing attention and care more than he ever has for her…out the blue…and addict/prostitute or not there was clearly chemistry & something deeper. She wasn’t bugging.
She was still bugging. Yes while Josh still had deep feelings for Candice, he was also having mixed feelings about the situation. He felt guilty for leaving her by herself during their youth and both vanished out each other's lives.
Josh got married and candy ended up as a prostitute which really bugged the wife for no reason and just tried to control Josh. Like she wanted to have Josh shove Candy out of his life for no reason cause she was just spiteful and jealous of the fact that he's showing attention to a friend.

Unpopular opinion. I think Linda gave Josh too many chances. I saw this in theaters when it came out and I was on Josh's side. But the more I rewatched, the more I started to side with Linda. Josh clearly cared way more for Candace than he was letting on. Yes, Linda was rude, judgmental, and evil for what she was gonna do to Candace and Chuck. But you have to admit, Josh and Candace were part of the problem. Candace was rude and judgmental to everyone that spoke to her or tried to help. Josh, Chuck, Ellen, and Linda. Instead of Linda having to look into their past, Josh should've made more of an effort to tell her. His communication was lacking. As soon as Josh saw that it was a problem, he should've spent more time being assertive rather than being defensive about the whole thing. He had too many opportunities to fix it or just back off. Mixed feelings, but good movie and good reaction.

Okay, i got a few questions:
1. What did that man mean when he said to Candy "ill get a premium for you."
2. Why did Candy kick that man in the Job Interview scene?
The reason she kicked the man was because he was making a sexual advance at her so that’s why
Because the job interview guy wanted a "favor" for hiring her. The premium part was she was an attractive girl and as a prostitute he could pimp her out for a higher price because of it.
1. He was saying that he could charge a lot of money for her once he starts forcing her to work the streets for him
2. Because he was trying to get sexual favors in exchange for hiring her.

Hi Michelle, I want to tell you about this movie of "Madea Goes To Jail" when it was released in 2009. Here are the four reasons why this movie wasn't great to watch.
#1. Madea was refusing to listen to Dr. Phil. Dr. Phil tells her that she needs help. Madea said, "No Dr. Phil, I don't need your help. I am perfectly fine." Dr. Phil tells her that she is not perfectly fine, She needs help from him. She refused to get help from him. So then why doesn't she want Dr. Phil to help her for? He has to help her because that's his job to help people.
#2. Madea told Cora (Tamela Mann) to "Shut to the up". I imagine that Cora will say, "No. I will not shut to the up, Madea." I'm going to tell my father on you if you don't stop telling me to shut to the up. It is extremely annoying to me. So no, I will not shut to the up." Madea refused to stop and says that she can do that at her whenever she wants.
#3. Josh (Derek Luke) told Linda (Ion Overman) that their relationship is over and wasn't going to marry her. I imagine that she tells him to stop just before he went into a rage rant at her. So he orders her to be quiet with his anger. Linda gets mad about it as she tells him "no" that she is not going to be quiet. She didn't understand why Josh is ending his relationship with her.
And #4. You skipped the part where Josh told the guard to be quiet while he was kissing Candace (Keshia Knight Pulliam) as he removes her out of prison. Candace tells Josh not to do that because the guard is doing his job. Josh explains his reason why he silenced the guard because he was being rude as he raises his voice with his anger while he is looking at the guard with his anger. He wasn't going to explain his reason again as he kisses her again. Or the guard could've said, "No, I will not be quiet, Since you did that, You are under arrest for telling me to be quiet, Put your hands behind your back. (He looks at Candace) You ma'am, You are going back into your cell." When he said, "ma'am" at her, He didn't want to say Candace's name because he didn't want to say people's names. Candace had to explain that her name was Candace. The guard was like, "Whatever, That's not your name. You are going to be called "ma'am" whether you like It, or not. Now get back into your cell as I am placing him under arrest for telling me to be quiet." I might be worried that Josh was going to tell the guard not to touch him. The guard said, "I can touch you whenever I want, You are under arrest for telling me to be quiet because I saw you kiss that woman, You are not allowed to do that." So then why is the guard telling him not to touch Candace for?
Tyler Perry was so smart creating these characters.
