Great video! I've thought about making some foil stickers for personal use before as have a cricut machine, although I know not as good as silhouette for cutting. When I'm ready to purchase a laser printer I'll keep that model in mind 😊
Apparently, the minc carrier is not thick enough to put the right amount of pressure, and it's best to use cardstock. If you try it out, let me know if it works ✌🏾+ 💜
Since this video I have personally changed some things, toner, foil store and paper. I have found that things are adhering near perfectly for me now. I tried cardstock at one point, but this apparently but this actually meant it didn't adhere as well with paper and card being too thick!
Thanks for this. I'm curious as to whether or not one 'has-to' use the minc machine or if an ordinary laminator would work? I guess its best to use products from the same range for best results (i.e. minc foil + minc machine)
I have tried the laminator before, and it can work. But I found really inconsistent results, the foil doesn't adhere so well and some foils need different settings sometimes
@@laurasstickerco5949 Thanks for the reply. I've trie with a 'regular' laminator and my (now slightly ancient) laser printer. I wasn't sure which was the issue, as my results were always speckled. I think I shall have to look at investing in some more kit... :) thanks again.
