- Today I'll be showing you how to use waves tune real time, its an alternative plugin to autotune that you can use. This tutorial may be a bit confusing for you, so I'll put a link to another tutorial in the comments.

Quick update: you can sing naturally on autotune, best settings for normal singers are as follows:
Speed: 32.2
Note transition: 45.0
Correction: 100
These are official recommended settings by the company who made this plugin (Waves)

@peachtime, I get what you mean, I didn't have time to mention it since the tutorial was limited to the 60 second limit. This tutorial was designed for people who are new to waves tune real-time, if I mix in too many new concepts then naturally they will get confused. Well spotted, I look forward to your future feedback.
Think you should just focus on be honest and giving right information to beginners, you can’t presume people will get confused so you mislead a narrative to make it “easier” to understand that’s not fair to the learner , great spot with the compression

@@heroicdragonyea I think it would be a lot more helpful to either show the vocals raw with and without auto tune or just explain the plug-in ur mainly focused and let the beginners be aware that one plugin doesn’t solve everything but apart from all else great video 💯

If you sing on autotune, even if you are a good singer, you'll notice you sound a bit off-key if you play it back without the autotune. I think since autotune is designed for people who can't sing, it only works if you singing sounds flat.
That’s not at all how autotune works your speed is WAYYYYYY too fast
Thanks for letting me know, this video is what I know right now and I could be wrong. Could you perhaps suggest a better retune speed to make it sound more natural?
@@heroicdragon Use the presets that come with it. You'll just have to change the scale after you load it.
I believe the speed on the left is how quickly it snaps to the correct pitch. The note transition is how sticky the pitch is (basically affects the way it sounds when you switch notes).
I usually use 10 ms for speed. If I want a rap autotune effect then I'll do 10ms on note transition. 20ms for like RnB ish. And 30-50ms if you don't want it to sound like autotune or leave the default settings if you really want it to sound super natural
The majority of singers use pitch correction so it's not just for people who can't sing. Depending on style they'll just make it less noticeable or do it manually with tools like melodyne or waves tune (not the real time version)

Man I had to switchover to this shit……. Antares CRACKED DOWN on offline version lol can’t even use official version now…. Lol this was way cheaper than the 500-600 price tag on full version of Antares 😂
Lol. Still want autotune pro because of its humanize feature, but waves tune real time is really good because it provides the same function for a cheaper price!
Antares gives bundle for 20 bucks a month
@@Redmoneyusa no it’s trash…… hasn’t been good since 2009….. ITS 25 bucks a month and nobody has time for them auto pulls every time lol paid 40 and 10 two have like 4 years of waves lol 😂 huge difference and my music still sounds great lol 😂
