The fact that #14 for white didn’t get a card at 6:08 should show to the Medina parents that this ref wasn’t remotely bias. Clearest card I have ever seen. Girl had NO chance to get a legal part of her body on the ball and only went to take out the keeper was shocking.
It’s been like that all season apparently. The black team had an earlier game this season where they were being like the white team in this game. It’s shocking because the quality these girls play at, they have to play Girls Academy/DPL or ECNL club. How they don’t know what a hand ball is or an offside…or that the last defending play was beautiful & not remotely a foul…
Great question. Medina staff seem to police the students at all sporting events, but really needed to do something about these parents. It's such a bad look to be screaming at the ref, who honestly did nothing wrong and called a good game. As a resident who attends multiple MHS events each month, I am surprised. This behavior is not typical of Medina parents.
Great job girls from both teams , both teams played hard . Quick question , at the beginning during kick off why did one of the girls start kick off and then walk off the field ? Just curious

You don't win anything for being ranked & can you honestly say (w/a straight face) that the person who does these 'rankings' seriously knows enough info about 250+ teams to rank them in order of something? Plus, obviously Volcano Vista is NOT ranked correctly!
I feel sorry for those Medina girls. They played a classy game and their parents/fans were pathetic. So much so that I was actively pulling against them just to make those people mad. My daughter would forbid me from attending games.if I did a tiny bit of what those fools were doing.

If I heard the audience correctly, she tore her ACL and just got it repaired, so maybe it was just a welcome back thing while she rested it some more
Volcano Vista girls beat Strongsville this past Friday 3-2. A #250 ranked team from New Mexico. It was a great game for the Lady Hawks.
Again, rankings are a joke & prove NOTHING!!! so WHY even mention them.
