I love this podcast because I grew up on BMW, but honestly, I could listen to the 3 of you discuss any topic. Please consider doing another podcast or talk show after this one. You'd have at least one fan tuning in!
It's so crazy how I'm learning so much from these guys about them that I never thought I would. The hair touching the changing clothes so much reality. I love these episodes more and more.
I AM ENJOYING THIS PODCAST SO MUCH! Boy Meets World was one of my all-time favorite shows growing up-and is still on the list. Thank you so much for all your hard work. You’re doing great, sweeties!
I watch a few episodes, then come back and watch these. I’m taking notes to go back and watch things like Ben’s laugh in the cafeteria when he’s caught. So glad you guys are adding pictures of the wardrobe that you find hilarious 😂 I’ve been looking at the clothes more now!
Absolutely love this podcast and can't wait for more episodes. Can I just say, when the show first started I identified mostly with Cory, but as the years went on and the show ended I identified more with Eric than anyone else
That is so interesting that they parent in such a way that they don’t call him out. I feel like maybe I learned to parent from 90s sitcoms. I would love to see a live commentary of a podcast.
About the grounding, in our house (I have 3 kids) my kids get grounded, BUT there are things like holidays and stuff that they still get becuase we consider those family events and they get to do family events. Often times, there are restrictions, like they can't eat the candy or don't get to come home and watch a movie or whatever depending on what they are grounded from. They are, also, then, grounded up until that event and directly after it. I don't know if it was something similar with Cory's parents. Love these podcasts!!! It's so fun watching the Boy Meets World episodes and then going straight to the podcast. :D
Watching this Podcast got me to break out my old Boy meets World DVDs loved this episode. But honestly rewatching the Show i relate more to Shawn being the more poor than Middle Class.
There is over like 30 sessions they have done, plus interviews, they are basically a year behind So it will be months probably before they are caught up , to edit it all
Still loving it. I've wanted to listen to catch up on Spotify but there's something about needing the video. Please consider doing maybe a Monday plus Friday until we're caught up on youtube?
Omg! I love this podcast so much! Thank you for doing it! I watch the episodes right after but I do wish you guys at least showed highlighted clips while you are reviewing but probably copyright/Disney stuff…
that's exactly the issue... I usually put the corresponding episode on, muted during the pod cast and skip to the sections they talk about... it's more intensive, but I also prefer that to nothing at all...
I am loving that y'all uploaded the video forms of these to UA-cam cause now the viewers can see things like Will playing with the mic cord close to the end of the episode. 😂
Watching BMW I always notice that the city of Philly was never a "character" on the show. You knew that Full House was in San Francisco and Home Improvement took place in Detroit. So there were shows at the time where the location was more of a factor.
Yes, give Feeny the Dumbledore treatment, with an gritty artsy young Feeny story where he learns the significance of his influence in his student and learns the lessons that he would later impart upon Corey and the gang. Love it, I'm here for it!
Honestly, I think we're too far down the road for that. If the main show didn't last more than three seasons, I feel like the only format that would work in is just a single season mini series... As much as I love BMW and some of the continuing story in GMW, I don't think it holds enough weight to have an impact as a show and last any real length of time. All that being said, if they did do it, I'd watch that in a heart beat...
I think it’s interesting how at the end of the Halloween scene at the door where they lift up their masks, they don’t mention Cory saying “and they say I’m not a genius”.
It is crazy that people thought Lily Nicksay passed away. I didn't know that that was a rumor until Rider mentioned it when I listened to this episode on Spotify
Were you never at Chuck E Cheese in the 90's? If the ticket chamber is questionable... I think the ball pit and tubes were much more so. In fact, almost lost my younger brother to the ball pit. He went missing and after a few minutes, a worker found him basically drowning in the ball pit.
For me, discovery zone was the big thing in the 90s. Chuck e cheese actually replaced DZ in my area back in like 1999 or so. Idk if Chuck e cheese bought dz or what but yeah lol
to Rider on the Hair touching... as a kid I never noticed it. As an adult, I thought that the producers may have asked you to do it. Like Will says the teen idle/icon thing and the long hair/bull cuts were a big thing in the 90s. Great show, loving all the insider info and hanging out with you guys. You guys can make Ben come on for 1 episode if Mr Daniels could make it ;-)
I actually think Home Improvement did a really good job with "consequences" on a show similar to yours !! The Taylor boys very rarely got away with anything they did wrong and Jill (their Mom) always laid down real rules and I don't think kids watching ever felt belittled because of it . That was real sh*t !!
We need to know the rest of the smoking story I’m on the edge of my seat lol. I would’ve thought the severe grounding would be the end of smoking Danielle so now I’m curious when and how you quit?
Fishel’s story about smoking would have taken place at around the same time and age, I think, of the young women from the legendary Lillian Ross profile “The Shitkickers of Madison Avenue,” published in The New Yorker.
That's not your first bedroom scene with Shawn or the first time you see him not sitting down! He helped Cory kidnap Minkus and then he's also helped paint the fence + teased Cory for studying in the backyard
It always drove me nuts when the main family on the family sitcom is considered poor or lower middle class and the house is this huge beautiful gorgeous almost a mansion looking house and the family is wearing new clothes and their hair is perfect. I know it's a show and things don't make sense sometimes but it doesn't make sense. After that scene where the lady judges the matthews as a "lowlife" grocery manager and realtor. Maybe the joke was the "smart" teacher lady was being dumb by disrespecting nice working average people in their beautiful home. I didn't like it. They did that on the torkelsons. The mom worked from home a huge beautiful home and the kids were living comfortably but they were the poor family of the neighborhood because the dad left mom. It's weird even for the 90s
I would 100% read a book about the origins of Feeny. But I don't think I could accept any other actor in the role of Feeny (even knowing that it would essentially be a completely different character). I think a Feeny origin movie would break my brain.
By no means am I proud of it, but god I can relate to Danielle and Will's teen smoking... Both my parents smoked, access was easy, school was stressful and Will's right. Get grounded, see how fast you want to light up a Camel LOL...
I feel like Feeny would try something different each year instead of candy and hope it would take off--one year it's toothbrushes, one year it's rulers, one year it's stickers, one year no one comes because they remembered to never go to that house...
I never thought about it as being Rider with the nervous hair touching, I just thought it was part of Shawns character and it just made sense
Same
Same. It's always the hair touch up for the Ladies tropes, didn't seem out of place at all.
My mouth literally dropped when Danielle said she smoked at 15 I knew Will did at a young age and I was surprised but Danielle was more shocking lol
I love this podcast because I grew up on BMW, but honestly, I could listen to the 3 of you discuss any topic. Please consider doing another podcast or talk show after this one. You'd have at least one fan tuning in!

Danielle was so funny in this episode! ❤
I love her personality😂
Same she’s the best
the beginning part with will being upset he didn't get invited to adler's birthday party was soooooooo hilarious 😭
I would totally watch "Becoming Feeny" 😂
I found that the part where Cory and Shawn were just standing at the door added humor to the scene
I watch a few episodes, then come back and watch these. I’m taking notes to go back and watch things like Ben’s laugh in the cafeteria when he’s caught. So glad you guys are adding pictures of the wardrobe that you find hilarious 😂 I’ve been looking at the clothes more now!

Lol, so you slowly went insane too? 😂
@@LostHope84 yes
Omg Danielle smoking,????!!! What a rebel lol
"MORE TICKETS FOR MAMA!" - Funniest thing I've heard in a while!!!
Thank you guys ! Keep up the good work :)

1) Ryder saying that there wasn’t really the internet, actually hurts 😅
2) My Adhd cannot listen to the podcast without the video.
😅😅😅
Same!
Watching this Podcast got me to break out my old Boy meets World DVDs loved this episode. But honestly rewatching the Show i relate more to Shawn being the more poor than Middle Class.
I wish you'd upload all of these faster so they're caught up to within a week of the podcast releases. Then I can just watch it on here!
There is over like 30 sessions they have done, plus interviews, they are basically a year behind
So it will be months probably before they are caught up , to edit it all
I feel like ever since you made this podcast now i see a lot of old schools shows doing the same! Thank You❤
Still loving it. I've wanted to listen to catch up on Spotify but there's something about needing the video. Please consider doing maybe a Monday plus Friday until we're caught up on youtube?
There is alot of footage to do with the episodes plus interviews
They are basically 30 videos behind, it will take some time
@@Kimmyfuzzygogglepage thank ya kimmy, I understand that. Just caught this reply. Much love!
Every episode gets better. I really hope they get Ben for at least one guest episode.
i think he’s in the running for Senate in his state, so maybe he’s trying to separate himself from acting
Fully respect his decision not to be a part of it ... but yes ... to have all four of them on even one episode would be awesome.
Counter attack. Let's get Fred Savage. 😈
@@omigawdd Ew no
Not gonna happen, he doesn't want to do it..
Oh man a feeney prequel would be amazing

The clothing is definitely a 90's thing. I feel like some of these are coming back in style too!
Unrelated, but Will, do you know if My Date with the President’s Daughter will ever be on Disney+? We gotta make it happen!
Watching BMW I always notice that the city of Philly was never a "character" on the show. You knew that Full House was in San Francisco and Home Improvement took place in Detroit. So there were shows at the time where the location was more of a factor.
Relatable bit at the beginning. Today my baby sister turned 28. That's insane to me.

I love this weekly ritual.
Your heads are going to explode if you ever get to the college years.. hot damn!
Call it “Finding Feeny”
I think it’s interesting how at the end of the Halloween scene at the door where they lift up their masks, they don’t mention Cory saying “and they say I’m not a genius”.
It is crazy that people thought Lily Nicksay passed away. I didn't know that that was a rumor until Rider mentioned it when I listened to this episode on Spotify
I wish they’d dish the background and put their video full screen
I'm liking this background info, how everything worked then.
Man I really love this show 🐐
I always felt Cory was let slide because he demonstrated he learned a lesson and ultimately did the right thing without explicit intervention.
Were you never at Chuck E Cheese in the 90's? If the ticket chamber is questionable... I think the ball pit and tubes were much more so. In fact, almost lost my younger brother to the ball pit. He went missing and after a few minutes, a worker found him basically drowning in the ball pit.

It makes me laugh that all the actors sit on the 'edge' of everything. Desks, tables, chairs, couch
Love you guys I'm watching reruns now 🤣💜🖤
I’m so confused. On Spotify they’re already on season 2… where are the videos? I can’t listen without watching 😭
I think it's slow uploading. I agree I 100% prefer the option to look.
Did anyone else notice the last (Q&A) episode appeared and disappeared?
Cory cheats on the Mensa test . Morgan says booger.
It's so great to see y'all
I'd go tulip. Oak and Elm are 3 letter trees. Daisy and Tulip are 5 letter flowers
Love you guys
Best episode yet 🎉
I hate shopping for clothes and trying them on too!
We need a Feeny prequel!!!
love how they all just casually drop how the show traumatized them for life and move on. Children really are second thoughts in our society.
I bought “the brick split level on Oak Street”
Early I am only 20 but I am the biggest fan of boy meets world
Hey guys , as a Brit , Sean is the Irish way of spelling Shawn 👍🏽
Omg i get anxious with trying clothes on, buying them, all of it tooooooo
I actually think Home Improvement did a really good job with "consequences" on a show similar to yours !! What happened to the q&a?
People learned how to spell the name from TV Guide... and merch and fanzines.

Y'all all being traumatized by the quick changes is so surprising to me!
! Not super surprised that it still affects you, but, not being an actor, i never would have thought about it being a thing!
Wait till they talk about starting season 2
Which they have, almost half way through on spotify and apple podcast
Pleas also try and get Ethan Suplee as a guest to..
They tell us how to spell Shawn! Cory asks Mr feeny if it’s sean or Shawn.
The middle school was called Jefferson.
sean is sean cassidy aka banshee of the xmen. thats why i spell it that way lol
That's not your first bedroom scene with Shawn or the first time you see him not sitting down!
He helped Cory kidnap Minkus and then he's also helped paint the fence + teased Cory for studying in the backyard

I wonder if they chose the name John Adams high because of Bill having played him🤔

p l e a s e Rider, make the Feeny prequel PLEASE
What was the lesson for Riley at the end of the Girl Meets World episode? Like does she learn anything, because I completely agree with Will.
Danielle basically said her first question is when can she go jacket off????
With Allen (Alan?) being a store owner, they own their house, is that really lower middle class? Maybe houses were cheap in PA.
I think he was a manager or assistant manager but in the later seasons he opened up a camping store or something
Q-ratings/score are still a thing. They had an expert/analyst guy talk about it in the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial
Why are these poor children in GIANT clothes? They have to carry all of that weight!
The cast say some things I wish they’d elaborate on. Rider can’t stand the Joker movie?
Eric Matthews still the boy next door.
Topanga thinks smokers are discussing. Daniel F. Thinks smoking's cool. Whomp whomp.
🎉🎉🎉
Let's hear some more interesting Stories.
Did I miss episode 102?
It was audio only it seemed
Cory got grounded for cheating on a test that didn't matter
Sam Horrigan will always be the man. Everybody loves Brink and Little Giants.

You need to fix your camera angles or two camera. Your off center
I mean they got a decent house. Mks sense she's a part time realter.
Loved chuckie cheese as a kid cept there pizza is horrible
I feel like Feeny would try something different each year instead of candy and hope it would take off--one year it's toothbrushes, one year it's rulers, one year it's stickers, one year no one comes because they remembered to never go to that house...
Uhh what is this talk of a female version of Shawn? I take offense to that.
The first two seasons can't be touched. It rolled with the times after and dealt more one line haymakers than Seinfeld.
When they got to college the show started sucking. I wish they would have just stuck in high school instead of speeding them up
