I love cooking for my wife, one day I fixed a mess of Squirrels and I made a pan of biscuits and fix a big pot of Squirrel gravy ,it was so funny because here is this beautiful lady loading up her plate and she says "you are going too make me fat!" LOLand she has truely been a Blessing from the LORD too me and all my family.I suffered a major stroke in 2017 while I was at work one morning,I was flown by chopper too a hospital and for 5 days I never knew I was in this world.but when I opened my eyes she was right there holding my handtruely if any man was ever Blessed it was me,the doctors told me I was never going too work again .no matter if I liked it or not,and she leaned over and told me it would be alright ,because she had just made our last house payment.I had bought a disability ins. at work which payed me about 1800 dollars each mo. and I was also put on SSI ,several folks laughed at me when I took out the extra ins.at work and a stroke was the last thing ,I ever thought would happen too me.but working 12 hours a day 6 days a week had my BP so high I just about left here.it took me several Mo's. before could get around without a walker or a cane.but now I can walk on my own ,the LORD spared me ,and he is healing me each day

@@countrydarlin8212 yes ! she is my Blessing.in 2017 I had a major stroke ,it very nearly killed me ,while I was at work .I had just started my job at work early in the morning before dayliteI remember being flown in a chopper way off from the Mountains of S.W. Va.too a big hospital in Roanoke,Va. and when I came too .she was sitting there in the ICUholding my hand ,she told me I had slept for 7 days.the Dotcors told her it was normal, they said it was how the Human Body healed itsself.my BP had spiked way high and a Blood vessel had burst in my frontal lobe, and laid me out.I was working 10 too 12 hours each day every day.but after that I spent a long time learning how too walk again I was several Mo's.before I could get back home ,but before I could I had a long battle with being able ,just too get up and walk again .things that was once just simpile had become suddenly very hard too do just like going too the bah room too take a bath .or walking out on my porch and petting my old Birddog my Doctors said I was disabled .but The Lord gave me back enough strength ,so that now I get up each morning a Go for a walk in the Mountains each day ,I get along pretty good with my walking stick .still not able too put 80 pounds on my back and hike all day .but I can spend the day along the creek fishing ,or just hike a little foot trail near my home thru the National Forest and listen for Turkeys.my Dr.said he thought that would be good theraphy and I think it is alsohe said my heart is very strong and he told me that my Blood work was better than his ,he tells me that stress was what caused my stroke,I never thought I had any stress,I loved having plenty of work too do ,I would try each day too do more each day than the day before.most folks would run 1or 2 machines each day at work but I would always run 5 or 6each day ..I liked too stay busy,It makes the day of work go by really fast it was kinda like farming, you never have enough daylite too get done .But God has surely Blessed me Beyond what words can tell and I know He will never leave or foresake me he will go with you all the way even unto the very edge of the grave and God is even able too stay the hand of death and bring you back..I remember the Dr. asking me what I wanted him too do if something should happen while I was in the hospital? when I asked what did he mean ,he would not say,so I told him "just keep on doing what you normally would do,and if GOD comes in here too take me home with Him ,there ain't anything you or anybody can do too stop Him.so don't frett about what too do ,I will be with God and I will be happy ,but I will miss you all.he seemed very at ease with that answer,he was a pretty good Dr. I told him God did not do anything halfway, that He wasn't going too keep me alive just too let me die far away from home in a far off hospital.

When I remarried I wanted to have premarital counseling with our pastor. I have long remembered that he had us list our expectations of marriage; what you expect to do & what you expect your spouse to do.
That's advise I pass along to folks generously. It's good for EVERY aspect of our lives. Our preconceived expectations trip us up all of the time!
Seriously, anyone who has been on a mission in third-world countries may understand what I am talking about. If you grow up poor, & expect to be poor, you can be happy with a lot less than even the poorest of Americans.
This has been humbling for me. I feel like such a spoiled child sometimes when I realize that I am complaining over something because I had an unrealistic expectation. 🤯 Mind blown‼️

FOX E carpentress but since god made the woman the weaker vessel the man must be the head of the woman. The woman is supposed to submit to the man. But the man must be righteous. Or else the spiritual order is severed. The spiritual order goes God in Christ, Christ in man, man over woman, and woman over children. If a man submits to his wife and allows the woman to run the family you’re done for. It has ruined my father. Men are meant to love his woman with the love of god. And he does this by being the leader of the family and home.

Woman have had to run the Homs and it works if the father is not doing what’s right, but children do best with a father figure in the home that follows God. Mans and woman are created equal it is not man over woman, but woman need love and men need respect so when it says wives submit to your husbands what it is saying is men need that and that is what is how the home works the best. And men love their wives because that is what woman want. It even says outside of marriage there is not head and both woman and men answer to God.

Amen! Just finding them on you tube, but have been a big fan for several years. I can’t imagine anyone who, wouldn’t love their podcast. I certainly going to recommend it to our church. We pastor thecrestviee Mennonite Church in Crestview, FL. We aren’t Mennonites, however we are Christians. We were going to a Baptist Church most of our lives, due death and age, they had need of a pastor and a piano player. So On Mother’s Day 2016, we went as a couple recommended by our Pastor to help them out, and we are still there. We found only 3 True Mennonites, the rest were good folks that had been hurt at several other churches and denominations. We have fallen in love with them and will be there until God moves us or calls us home. They got both of us as I play the piano and we both sing all over as “Destination Heaven”. If we ever get over your way, we would love to sit one of your services. I’m growing from your. Bible Studies. I love how y’all bring the Bible to life. Keep on keeping on for Jesus. Blessings to all you Robertson’s for all you do for Jesus. He’s all that really matters.

I think Jesus called him "The Rock", because he was hard headed, and because after he was saved, he would build the foundation of the Church.

Brothers, my mother canned lots of food. I remember watching my younger sister stir up vegetable soup in a Number 3 Washtub. That was the year I turned 18, and I'm almost 75 years old now. With the help of my husband and son, we grew, harvested and preserved (canning and freezing) lots and lots of food, including green beans, lima beans, black eyed peas, purple hull peas, conch peas, pink-eye purple hull peas, tomatoes, you name it, we did it. My mom and dad's gave me and my husband part of a hog they raised in 1963. My grandpa (mom's dad) was a hunter in Northwest Arkansas. We now live in North Central Florida, which is quite a distance from Arkansas where I grew up!

I told my family that lives in Phoenix this weekend at church about the podcast and my sister-in-law informed me that my nephew (3 years old) is named after Jase. I had no idea, I never watched Duck Dynasty and apparently they're huge fans. She's never watched this podcast and got excited to try it out. They're going to loan me all the seasons on DVD of DD so I can watch that. Funny stuff. I'll never look at my nephew the same.

My guess for where you’re going with the passage about Nathanael (one of my favorites!): Nathanael had a spiritual encounter with God while he was under the fig tree that only he and God could know about. When Jesus said that He saw Him under the fig tree, He was referring to that spiritual experience and basically declaring Himself to be the one whom Nathanael had encountered. It wasn’t just that He walked by and literally saw him sitting under a tree. It was that He understood something that had happened in Nathanael’s heart that no one else could know about.

Michaela Farrell Please consider checking out a channel called The Impersonal Life. This is wonderful information to read and also to listen to about Christ. The Articles 1-16 you can read. I love the Christs letters , read for us by E. Thomas Costello. Sounds like a story time with God. I listen to them on UA-cam, but first check out the website to see what's on there.

You know, I really admire these guys for being able to give, and receive, constructive criticism. People need to sit up,and pay attention, to how they talk to each other. The Bible tells all of us to keep each other in line, by using His word, to circumcise our hearts. People are too sensitive. If it's said in love, and meant for correction, take it, and use it to better yourself.
