Timmy, There is something called a descending device, that allows you to return a fish to depth where the they can be released largely unharmed. When fishing depths that cause baro-trauma, they are required equipment up here in my neck of the woods. It is worth looking into if you want to bump up the survival factor on the releases.
I do not support "killing" a fish for no reason, but I believe that when they get caught this deep and pulled out to the surface they die instantly. So in some cases there is no point in using the descending device (on a dead fish).
I'm really enjoying you latest vids. I've always watched but since you stepped off of the skiff you're taking it to another level. Keep up the good work.
Hey Timmy, good to see you're doing well. I was hoping to see a cook up at the end. I know u can't always do it, but people do like to see it. Thanks mate, keep it up!
Epic! I knew you were gonna put that boat to good use. Have you ever tried a pastrami rub for seasoning fish? It's so good... I like Katz's Deli recipe 🙃
Hey mate love the videos as always. Just a tip I noticed Brett bleeding the fish over the side of the boat it’s best to have a kill bin that you bleed your fish in like a butcher tub. This will help with not drawing the sharks in as quickly plus no blood in the boat and you can use it to store gear in if needed.
That driving away from the fish technique is actually super smart, I've done it somewhat unintentionally on GTs in some of the mid north rivers to plane them up to the surface and get them away from any sharks. Great to see it working in 90m of water haha yew
mean video, daiwa should be supplying you with all new saltiga reels rods and someone should be supplying you with jigs to fish your hearts away with!!
Timmy buy a portable lithium jump-starter for peace of mind, I've got the same set up and got one the other day, it'll fit in your glovebox and they aren't that expensive
Never seen someone jig like that, usually you pull pull pull then let it drop and pull pull pull and let it drop, Timmy just pull pull pull pull pull pull 😂
Need to make yourself up a release weight Timmy. Most fish affected by barotrauma will be right if they're returned quickly to the right depth (don't try to vent fish you might bugger it or at the least leave them at risk of infection)
12:20 Love how Timmy talks about how they released the shark as Brett holds up a gaff and a base ball bat🤣🤣
Timmy your got the best footage on UA-cam.
There's no one out there even close.
It's great to have you back

The elation when you saw that fin, the disappointment when you saw it was a shark. This channel has it all!
Love the rundown of what's going on the sounder, interesting and super helpful!

Get yourself a lithium jump starter pack....good insurance to make sure the boat always starts
Great advice

12,7V should be resting Voltage, maybe the bms needs a recalibration.
Hope you had some doggie sashami gotta be stoked to land one in your own boat🎉
Some real good energy and genuine chemistry between U and Brett in your approach to fishing..
Hope to see a heap more of it!!
Tim very interested in your jigging combos, line class etc
waaaow nice fish mate ....
Timmy I watch all the adds on your vids to help pay for the mud crabbing fine
Man you catch fish I never saw before and they are massive 😲🎣

That would be an insane workout pulling up fish from that deep!! haha I think I need to up my game :)
Can't double like haha totally awesome boys yew
New era of Timmy slaps

I've sure you have been asked this before but why is your steering console right at the back of the boat? Move it forward 1m !!
BIG Trout!

wheres the saltiga Timmy?
How many k offshore mate?
150ks
I'm skeptical about all this new technology. I feel like I'm relying on a robot.
Brotha invest in getting a vent for the fish you pull from the deep that you are not going to keep. Of you don't already have a venting tool.
Yeah normally not a fan of the jigging videos but these trips are a mint watch.
I gotta say mate, that boat is sexy!!
Holy shit land of giants!
Don’t forget about the mission Timmy Turdle. Psycho, massive fish. Huge eat.
Timmy I’ve caught 15kg blue spot trout a witnessed an 18kg blue spot.Monsters
Yes yes yes
That's a first for sure lmao
This is why you go with a battery isolator and not the stupid perko switch.
💪
Your voice sounds different 🤔
Timmy needs to hit the gym so he can lift those big fish. :D
Timmy’s left arm looks an inch longer now
Need to make yourself up a release weight Timmy. Most fish affected by barotrauma will be right if they're returned quickly to the right depth (don't try to vent fish you might bugger it or at the least leave them at risk of infection)
If both fish landed it would be epic man....
Can anyone on here honestly say they have had a chinaman taken by a shark?
No can't say that I have
