@@TheKickbackloungeI play tcg and it’s alright I’m not gonna say it’s fun but most of the times it can be its more skill based then luck based because if your playing a person who’s been playing for 10 years compared to someone who’s been playing for 4 years the person who has 10 years will more likely win because he’s played longer and has more knowledge, but at some point it does end up more luck based and you then try to go for the mind games tactics of triggering your opponent because once you get inside their head and/or make them mad you won. You can also do something called coaching your opponent mid match for example before he makes a play I can go under my breath so he can hear me say something like oh if he goes for this card I’m done to force him into a play I want him to make. And there’s always the issue of Meta decks being expensive but I play floowandereeze which is a 50$-80$ deck

I love the symbolism of Kaiba using Monster Reborn when his aim is to revive the Pharaoh, and Yugi countering by banishing Kaiba’s target. It’s like Yugi is saying “no, leave him be”
JUDGE! Yugi activated the trap card final guess, that card banished all monster cards from the grave after Kaiba revived Deep Eyes therefore Yugi shouldn't have been able to attack directly.
This is a legal play, he uses his trap to use Monster reborn (chain 1), Yugi counters with his trap (chain 2). Since chains resolve backwards yugi removes all targets in the grave and summons Dark Magician. Since chain 1 resolves now, no viable target so effect can't be resolved. This is not "random bullshit".
Honestly, the only issue I have with this movie is that it doesn't have Kaiba learn to move on and forces the Pharaoh to save the day again when Yugi has already grown up and surpassed the Pharaoh...
What’s funny is that if Kaiba had waited to activate high speed aria until after Yugi activated final geas, kaiba could’ve chained high speed aria to final geas bringing back deep eyes before Yugi banished everything winning the duel off of deep eyes’ burn effect on summon
Well yes of course we could see that now because the duel was final BUT kaiba or in any real life situation. We wouldn’t have in our minds “he has final geas so im a just wait for him to activate it”. Kaiba was left wide open and monster reborn was his only chance. Which what yugi planned for him to do

Unlikely unlike kaiba yugi knew about deep eyes and monster reborn as he gave it to him. Monster reborn was bait yugi likely wouldn't have knowingly misplayed into deep eyes even if his turn was dead.
The condition is a little too situational, bothe players have to have sent a level 7 or higher monster to the graveyard from the field that turn. Doesn't happen as much as we believe
I got the chance to watch this in cinema, it was so full of fans and everyone cheering and laughing. This film is absolutely incredible and beautiful the whole way through and a perfect end to the yugi saga.
Nah the best duel is the double brick duel from vrains, jokes aside my favorite duel is the rematch of judai and chronos, yuya and silvio with yosenju and kalin vs yusei are also amazing duels.
My personal favorite one from 5D's is Kalin and Yusei vs Lawton, but the original version only because they actually finish the duel and it's the most badass ending to a duel in the series. I think it's subbed up on UA-cam for "kalin vs lawton".
I love the voice actor of Yugi showing him aging, and his voice is just starting to get a little bit of the pharaoh‘s voice into it DSOD was truly a good spiritual conclusion. Though I wish we had more.
This movie was great, the animation was amazing and I love how they closed the plot hole of the pharaohs tablet featuring the duel between Atem and the priest with blue eyes. I only wish we got to see Seto get bodied by him again 😂. Also is it just me but I really I miss the OG purple dark magician and the original art is my favorite. I wish they had it in duel masters. This blueish grey is cool but he looks like the dark magicians buff older brother
Kaiba lost due to his ego. He assumed that Yugi had given him monster reborn as a mistake. If Kaiba respected Yugi more, he would've realized thst Yugi had a countermeasure. During the simulation with Atem, Kaiba wins because he predicts that Atem could counter him. By not taking Yugi as seriously, he loses.

Someone did a Timeline Video on the entire yugohi series it goes, Original anime, Duel Academy, 5d's, (time reset thanks to events in 5d's) Zexal. Events At the beginning of Arc5. Causes a complete breakdown and reset of all previous Series and respective timelines. and turns each series into its own world running parrel to each other in the same timeframe. However there are only 4 worlds shown in the anime. one for each type of summoning, Normal, Fusion, syncro, and XYZ. However.... Ritual summoning is strangely MIA in the anime. the speculation is the ritual world became the Manga series and the Movie. and from there it goes into Vrains. Still unclear where 7s goes as I have yet to watch it.
i feel like i have to critique the animation timing of the play thou. it looks like Kaibas rebirth already resolved, before Yugi actually used his trap. The dragon never even should have been targetable. sure. it would remove the whole animation and would be "boring" i guess. but still yugioh finally being rule conforming, should not be allowed to do it like here.
Right because Yugi doesn't have the Heart of the Cards beyond regular luck, Atem had the ability to manipulate luck in his favor but Yugi just knows how to plan ahead.
We kinda have a card similar to its effect maybe half of it and it's the activate a spell from the hand as a quick play that's the runick fountain but imagine activating triple tactics on you opp turn to either draw hand traps steal his monster or even rip a combo card from his hand

This is actually a case where they closely align. That is exactly how it would happen in the real Life card game Reborn is chain link one, and the monster is targeted. Then Yugi uses his trap as Chain Link 2. Yugi’s trap resolves, banishing all monsters. Kaiba’s Reborn resolves, allowing him to special summon from the Graveyard. Except, now there’s nothing in his graveyard TO special summon

To be fair, that's what he did, it's just that the anime's... Hologram... Things don't respect chains properly and start trying to resolve things before people finish adding stuff onto the chain, which is why the dragon vanishes when he activates his trap even though it only banishes the graveyards. ... Well, more realistically it works that way because it makes it look more dramatic for the dragon to start emerging and half form before being wiped away by the trap, but that doesn't explain why it happens in the show >_>

@@amr3731I can’t say I’m a fan. The Dark Magician is scrawny not built, his skin isn’t blue, and the hair is entirely too bright a color. The black is alright though but that’s about the only thing about the redesign that I like.
But this isn't Atem's Dark Magician, its a different design, the same way Arkana's was a different design, this Magician doesn't embody the ancient Pharoah's loyal servant, but rather Yugi's own ally

He was gonna lose because the face down card he had was diffusion. It wouldn’t have done any good.
The only card it could possibly be is Polymerization since we see it in his hand. He never activates it nor does he discard it also when he sets that card it is the last card in his hand. So no Kaiba lost to little Yugi.
We saw his hand in a previous round the only card that was unaccounted for in the rest of the duel was polymerization. So he made a bluff

Yugi vs Bakura final fight is one of my fav. Shown that Yugi doesn't depend on Atem and can win in his own.
I like how in real the real game all Yugi did was summon a 2500 beater with no effect or protection.

Wait doesn’t monster reborn target? If yugi just chained his trap to banish everything surely the reborn would’ve failed
To be fair, that's what he did, it's just that the anime's... Hologram... Things don't respect chains properly and start trying to resolve things before people finish adding stuff onto the chain, which is why the dragon vanishes when he activates his trap even though it only banishes the graveyards.
... Well, more realistically it works that way because it makes it look more dramatic for the dragon to start emerging and half form before being wiped away by the trap, but that doesn't explain why it happens in the show >_>

deep eyes was banished before it was summoned with monster reborn.
if that wasnt the case yugi would have lost from deep eyes´s effect damage on summon.

@@amr3731I can’t say I’m a fan. The Dark Magician is scrawny not built, his skin isn’t blue, and the hair is entirely too bright a color. The black is alright though but that’s about the only thing about the redesign that I like.

But this isn't Atem's Dark Magician, its a different design, the same way Arkana's was a different design, this Magician doesn't embody the ancient Pharoah's loyal servant, but rather Yugi's own ally

@@paulagnew3403 I did my research as well, the original manga ended in 2004. There was a 2 part special in 2016 called Transcend Game that linked the end of that manga to DSOD. It simply is not a prequel
