The clarity of thought process of Sean, just amazing. The world needs more contribution from genuinely good souls like him! Soar higher Sean! Onwards and upwards!
If you are a musician and haven't touched your instrument due to some reason, this interview will make you take it and play the hell out of it. What an interview!!!!
Always have been a HUGE fan of his independent music. Miss those days where I listened to his live singing! Once a Sean Roldan fan, always a Sean Roldan fan! ❤️ Thank you for this insightful interview, I just didn't wanted this to end!
Mr. BR, Thanks for this interview. I have been a fan of Sean Rolden from his days as an independent musician. I just knew that I like his music, but do not have the knowledge or the foundation to explain why I like his music. I really enjoyed you taking one song and discuss it for nearly an hour, to explain the process, its nuances, and the details . I got so many insights to his song making. These kind of interviews teaches us to better appreciate the music and films. Much appreciated, a 71 year old fan from Los Angeles.
I really happy for ❤Sean Rolden❤ was getting everything in rite time he deserves more heart's 💕 in future and be yourself what you are rite now Sean... I wish you all the success comes to you one by one... Hopefully waiting for your work more and more🎉. MUSIC ❤
Best interview of the recent times! Enjoyed every second. Always have wondered in what intent music composers compose portions. Some of the songs that have hugely struck chord with me seemed to convey various thoughts at the same time, just like our crowded minds- the vulnerability, happiness and melancholy of various spheres of life, at one point of time. Sean Roldan beautifully enunciated the state of mind being transferred to art, one soul to another. Words come short when sharing one’s life and propensity. Music never fails! Wishing more music of this kind❤
H Vinodh's lost brother. I love both their works. Right from Vaayai Moodi Pesavum to Jai Bhim, his work in songs is fantastic, but his work in BGM is underappreciated.
Really started loving this man, now only i figured out ,how much i have his songs in my favourites, its already many, now adding some more❤ I think sam cs also same kind, but his music in different track, Tamil cinema getting better now days
How has this got only 27k views? Such artistic wisdom dropped away at you so casually. Anyway, Sean seems to be ok with people not getting him or his work, so that settles that. Haha. I feel so humbled by this interview. Thank you Sean.
Ever since i heard the joker album right when it released, i am completely in love with his work. Even the independent songs that he did are way more amazing. My friends couldnt appreciate joker album at that time, saying (Yennada song ithu) like the song genre were beneath their class of what type of song they meant to listen to. He is most underrated and soon achieve the stardom he truly deserves. P.s: The song he sung (Manasula soora kaathey) when i first heard it , i was transported into a fairy land
Great insightful interview as always! I love BR's interviews with music composers since it brings in a lot of perspective on the thought process that goes into a song. A fluidic conversation for about 85 mins on a song and touching various other topics is brilliant. The articulate conversation also reflects Sean's clarity in music. As much as Sean said he is still figuring it out, his sensitive music does show that he is in the right path. Everytime I hear Ola Ola or Chellamma, it tugs my heart and there is an unexplainable sadness that crosses. They might not be great "hits" according to the industry standards but I am sure these kind of songs have a separate niche of listeners. Please do keep such beautiful music flowing. Galatta plus team, kudos again for another great qualitative content and please do more of such amazing interviews...not with just music composers but also with sound engineers, musicians, percussionists if possible please. Thanks a bunch!
Uravu is a fantastic song, I just accidently stumbled upon it, and it took over beautifully. I appreciate interviews like this because it brings in a different perspective and idea to songs and our music knowledge. Thanks to both Mr B and Mr SR for this.
Lol. Aarambichutanunga, Sean Roldan underrated nu. Dai, he's done good music, he seems happy with what he's done and that's why he's continuing to work. Enough with this soga ragam. Amp your taste to appreciate songs like ola ola kudisaiyila and that's how you'll support artists like him. Not by this underrated underrated comment. Chumma oru comment ah potu viduvom nu podradhu, just to make yourself feel good.
is baradwaj a butcher professionally, how can he seperate each and every element which composers keep it as cheats to elevate and tell it out!! definitley i guess he has a team of people to analyze and discuss it. Sean is not just a composer, he is a rebel in this so called industry. Forever fan for his idelogies and his artistic skills. People go and hear each and every song of Sean Roldan & Friends album from kappa tv, you cannot get out of his compositions and ideas.
Pandra music, niche ellame tamil la.. idhula sambathame illama english la oru interview. Baradwaj - i'm losing interest in your channel because of your artificial language fabrication. I would expect you to interview tamil talents in Tamil itself. Your ruined last one with Maniratnam and ARR also. Its annoying to an extent.
I miss Sean Rolden and his friends band music. It was a gem 💎
The clarity of thought process of Sean, just amazing. The world needs more contribution from genuinely good souls like him! Soar higher Sean! Onwards and upwards!

I really laughed out loud when Sean said - 'I am just helping MARKET to figure itself out' 😂😅 - great way of putting it out, unseemingly it's funny
oru nimishathula metoo controversy pathi thappa pesitaaru nu maatirpaaru... glad that BR gave him time to explain...

English subs irukku en English la pesnum , 💀 this one thing always irritates me in BR interviews fr
Cycle gap la Harris a kalaichutaru
I can't type in Tamil from my phone.
Both of them are talking about Tamil film songs and music. Why can't they talk in Tamil?
