I don't understand what Andrew's point is at the end of the pod. This isn't a normal trailmix, so all of these things together is going to be new, and it needs to be tested. It's like getting random ingredients and trying to make a new cake with them. Like yes, we have tasted and tried all these ingredients, but we never made a cake with it, it needs to be combined and tried.
Yea I was definitely on Gavin's side there. It's definitely not a mix he's seen before because most trail mix you buy isn't what they came up with which was kinda the point. Just because you've seen what the ingredients are, doesn't mean you can picture them together and mixed. Gavin's curiosity is justified

I remember loving a snack as a kid that I don't think they make anymore called 'Twigs,' which makes me wonder how close they were to Twiglets. I always loved those, and I think that Andrew's choice is kinda like that.
We were making our own hiking snack mixtures in rural New Zealand long before we heard the term Trail Mix or encountered commercially produced versions. Our concoctions were based on roasted peanuts, raisins, (button sized) bits of chocolate plus whatever else you felt like sprinkling in. My friends almost always included pieces of dried apricot but I couldn't stand the stuff.
I'm with Andrew. Those body washes don't seem too bad. There are so many products that are "sugar" or "cookie" or "cake" scented, and the pop tart one just probably smells like sweet fruit.

I was actually devastated. I missed the gurpler, I had to go get my neck adjusted because I was in so much pain I forgot about the gurpler and the soonest they could see me was at launch.
I want a gurpler why not just make them available all the time so everyone can get one ?? What stops people who already have multiple gurplers from taking from people who have none or do a preorder to see how many people want them

Rooster teeth used to have a thing when you went to buy a sold out item that let you give your email to be notified when it's back in stock. I don't know why they don't do the same and: A.) Use the number of people who ask to be notified for a rough estimate of how many they'll need B.) Give those people priority to buy them through a special link when they are in stock again so they don't have to beat out people on the day. That way everyone who really wants one gets one and maybe they'll have some left over but probably not that many. And if they do sell out again and people are annoyed again, they have a built in system for those people to eventually be satisfied. Then if they still have complainers they can go "well it's on you dummy. should've gave us your email if you really wanted one you'd have it" Also I really am happy to hear Geoff say that he wants to do it in a way that eventually if someone wants one they can just buy one. It was so frustrating trying to get the good merch from RT when they ran on a FOMO system.

Everything about your arguments as to why it works just seems counterintuitive to creating a friendly environment for fans to buy merch that they want.
