Didn't think this was a good album at first but the more you listen to it, the more you realize how special it really is and it grows on you in a pretty intimate way.
I listened to this when l lived up in the mountains for a year. Such a surreal time of my life.
I totally had the same experience with this album, giving it another listen tonight for first time since it was released and I'm blown away I wasn't into it originally, esp since it reminds me of "strawberry jam" in alotta ways which was always my favorite AC album

truly a unique album, I listen to this once a year when i remember about it.
i remember dancing to this song in my bathroom at 1 am like a crazy person and then i looked in the mirror and realized i didn't hate myself as much as i thought. needless to say, this song means a lot to me.
One of the best songs on any Animal Collective related record.
Seconded. It gets me hyped like no other
I hope Slasher Flicks comes back for another album

This song barely survived the shift between dimensions
the skeletons dancing to the beat are RAD

As a Dark Souls 3 player, this line caught my attention.
I don't get it. My favorite games of all time have been the Souls series ever since I discovered them, but I can't tell what you mean.
Aldritch dreamed of the coming age of the deep sea. That's about all there is too it, really.

I don't like how this is the same footage from the visual stream, but cut into the shape of a keyhole. Would've been better if they just kept up the whole stream. But hey, this is just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
Right?! I would pay for a visual album version of ETSH, akin to the way I'm pretty sure all of us would pay for an audio version of ODDSAC.
