This is probably my favorite video on this channel. This is my literal dream car, and Dai is an INSANE driver.
Now that is impressive! Not only the guy has a fully built sick car, but the feel he has for it, knowing exactly what he can do with it in the given amount of space on that dock and ramp is truly impressive

The sport has progressed. To be fair though, LS swapped drift cars are getting super common and 1000hp is the new 500hp. You're seeing it more and more even at the street level.
+The Road Ahead Then watch and go to grassroot drift events. I really like the fact FormulaD cars are actually becoming full on racecars. Just like Rallycross cars and WRC cars, FormulaD cars SHOULD be extreme to push the drivers to the limit and the sport further and further. Just look at the 2017 WRC cars - they're getting stage times FASTER than that of GroupB rally. At the start of the season, there was an interview with Tommi Makinen who now has his own team and he said the WRC cars in the era that he was in, was like modified street cars compared to the 2017 WRC cars and that he's really excited to see the R&D work gone in to push the cars further into what they are now. THIS is what FormulaD needs to be. It needs to keep progressing and evolving to be the top tier Pro class.
