Yep, this is the opposite of the last goodbye moments. It's like beginning of a new story. *And you can do it again by deleting the REAL save file and it will return the REAL Niko back.* Though she will lose her memories and someone who did what I just said won't be such a kind god/player or whatever.
gotta say, the unreleased soundtracks really show how it could've been, and what wasn't shown in the main story ... It feels like some of the blanks in my head where I think how the worlds in OneShot would be, are being filled more and more.
@@miauteuszkoodziejczyk they are bonus tracks. independent ost makers use this strategy so people have a reason to buy the ost separately. since if you can hear it all inside the game, why would u buy it? with special tracks that are album only, they get more attraction. C418 also did that with his Volume Alpha and Beta in Minecraft
I cannot express how much I enjoy the melody that plays from 1:53 to 2:01, especially from 1:57 on, and even more at 1:58, and then when it drops low at the end of that little melody just before 2:00 ish, I feel like I just melt. What I really love is that that melody occurs several times in the song. Its not just a one-off deal. Like I said before, I cannot express how much I enjoy that little segment in particular. But I really wish I could. Its one of those things that just "ring". You know, the sort of thing that is just perfection incarnate. Something beyond good, even beyond great, or incredible, or any other adjective you care to think of. Its just something that is so fundamentally good that you cant even express how good it is. Iv seen that property in a lot of things over time. Books, games, movies, music, ideas, etc, etc. Things that have nothing to do with each other except for their inherent greatness. OneShot as a whole also rings in my opinion.
Maybe it's just because it's so unexpected even though it had a build-up in the previous segment of the song, maybe our subconscious really enjoys that, that melody it recollected at the start came back when it least expected it. But yeah, just because of this song i now want to play Oneshot, i didn't even heard of the game before finding this song in Spotify by accident!
I first heard this song like 6 months before I played oneshot and it’s stayed as my absolute favorite song in the ost by far. I can’t help but smile every time I hear it :)
The fact that im going through a lot only to find this song and have all these thoughts and memories come back.... It hurts, you let out a cry for help but no one hears it.... Im sorry Niko
Dude this song kinda bangin tho First time I heard this and saw it was form oneshot I was really surprised cus I remembered oneshot as "that one game that made me cry"
same man, i found it on spotify then noticed the cover art and was like oh shit oneshot, but assumed that it must be fanmade music tho bc i dont recognise the song. then i find it here on youtube and realise its actually part of the soundtrack. this is such a different song from the rest of the oneshot OST, which is probably why it ended up not making it to the final game, but damn is this song great.
god DAMN this slaps so hard. i did not realise oneshot had released unused music, i only discovered this song from spotify! absolutely incredible track, gotta be my favourite from all of oneshot. even though it's the only one not actually used ingame LOL
I remember listening to this on Canine's Livestream, it was mistakenly named as first flight, probably in 2019 or early 2020... That server changed my life... And helped me with my solitude for some time. I got to know the game better after one of the members failed to complete a stream on call 😅 and I went looking for it by myself... Man... How good it is to be alive.
oh my god, it does. and the name, it makes it seem more like that. how? the game could create a simulation that helps you, or a bunch of simulations are made to help you learn go through the obstacles with the controls. I may be going crazy, but this music gives me so many different vibes and feelings compared to the normal Oneshot!
Behind the clock, behind that door, lies The Author’s room. On the table, there is a massive book, assumably the one that the Author writes on. This is what Niko is standing on.
Definitely a remix of Encounter. Which, I should also add, uses the same motif as "Niko and the World Machine", albeit in a different key and rhythmic pattern.
it's been 3 years, yet still good

Oneshot is the best.
I wonder if you're in the oneshot discord
music doesn't get worse by time, it only gets better.
hello niko
This game is just so good, I can't forget about it, the music as well, I love it.
I could listen to this game ost for the rest of my life ngl its so good
oneshot is pretty sad if you think about it man.
Don't even need to think about it when you've played the Solstice route, it's just sad. But a little hopeful too !
It is all about how people struggle to stay happy in a decaying world, so this game is meant to be sad
The first video game to make me cry.
i agree
@@probium2832 same

Pretty sure this is actually just a remix. As in, it was never going to be in the game. Even now, after Solstice exists, it's not there.
@@luviana_ not really, it's still a part of the solstice ost, few of them weren't used in game. I guess you could call them bonus tracks
@@miauteuszkoodziejczyk Makes sense. That's pretty cool.

That part reminds me a little bit of Faster Than Light, I like it too.
oh shit same here

how does it feel?
Oh God that's why I memorized that bit of the song with an image of Saturn!
This comment!
I have to agree completely with you!
when you want a game to pass the Turing test
Makes me sad that Markiplier didn't get the true ending
Yeah, he just quit playing.
@@paws9248 I want him to play it again so bad I hope he does
It saddens Me deeply. Someone needs to tell Him!
thats why I unsubbed, he never finishes games
he does know of the true ending, but he found out only after he already lost his save and decided not to play it again

Because well.. You don't see it often. Taking a picture with Niko looking at your comment and username reflects that.

is niko looking at your comment?
Niko liking the song that was meant for him
Never thought I would hear this again in 2021.
this is so bouncy........
Best song in the ost hands down
fax
This and library stroll for opposite but equally perfect vibes
Blessed be thee, watching this still; after all these years, with all this time fleeting.

This game is really underrated considering how great it is

Man... How good it is to be alive.
This kinda sounds like it would be an unused cave story soundtrack just like wind fortress was at first
EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT
Love one shot so much
This is going on my workout playlist
One of the few one shot songs that actually fit there
This honestly feels like niko, the world, and the story all summarized in one song
this is an absolute banger
sounds like tutorial music for a game
*not giving ideas or anything*
oh my god, it does.

..Or a game trailer music
Yeah sounds like how Bless You Rip's tutorial but Oneshot
god i can only imagine
Reminds of Portal 2.
Ye
Aperture Science making the world machine be like (they already knew of the multiverse so why not?):
the best soundtrack so far
It's really cool tbh
I Love this
This game ost is perfect ambiance
i love this song so much
lol I haven't done solstice yet but the OST sounds so NICE I wanna do it soon lmao but im lazy
hate to break it to you but this song isn't used ingame. all the other ingame songs are still great though :D
Memories
Why are you on a giant book Niko
That's probably the author's pages
DinoRex But they're near the world machine...
It probably got in somehow
Niko: How should I know?

this music makes me go "WEEEEE! :D"
this sounds like something from a pokemon game
Nice sound track bro 👍
GIRakaCHEEZER rly outdid themselves with this one
This sounds a lot like the final battle theme from sonic 3d blast genesis
If this game had a proper credits screen, this would be its theme without a doubt.
This is epic
BOPPPP
Я смотрю на все старые комментарии и наслаждаюсь
good
Hey, uh could you do me a favor and post this on sound cloud, for convenience.
sounds like one of the minecraft discs, the green one I think
esta muy bueno para secuencia de creditos
mfw the best song in the soundtrack is unused
Got a Syrsa vibe to it in the second half.
This song makes me want to beat boneworks with only my fists
Can't remember where this track played
This doesn't play anywhere in the game, as it is a bonus track. However, it is a remix of "Encounter".
This piece isn't used in game right?
its not, just a little bonus in the files i think
it is a bonus track in the solstice soundtrack that u can buy
Excusme, i end the game in solstice, in what part of it it plays this song?
The track does not play in the game. It is, however, a remix of "Encounter", which does play in the game.
@@missingnoavi3545 thx
damn oneshot ost is almost as big of a banger as mother 3 ost
actually listening to this again id say theyre both just as good
this is a remix?
I don't think so, it's part of the official soundtrack so...
Probably- ..more like a variation?
uhhh.....
By the sounds of it, it is a remix of "Encounter".
