I love this group, very inspiring and teaches strategies to be optimistic and never give up, that's why I love this group, thank you for spreading great messages and keep it going
rachel's vocals actually sounded just as good as jo's on this song...i would have never thought she had a voice that could hold some of jo's higher parts...especially at 3:18...prerecorded or not...lol
yeah i love rach's version...she's the best! it's a refreshing change from always hearing jo's voice...but i do love jo! But rach just gives it more of a sexy feeling and makes it more of a sultry song then when jo sings it...they are all amazing!!! S CLUB 4 LIFE!!!
i heard everybody's in except Rachel and Hannah... they havent confirmed yet. I hope they say yes cause i remember listening to their music all day long when i was a kid and i never went to a concert... but this year i'll be living in France so i can go and see them in the UK! wooo
Yeah, I thought that Rachel was singing Jo's vocal parts of the song as well. I did know of her back problems and her slipped discs. Jon doing those moves, what a flexable , and cute man. Hehe. I love this song. Dazza xx :)
i noticed that too...watching older videos and performances and then ones closer to the disbanding...tina looks like she was over it and was just riding out the last leg of s club...probably cus she rarely sang lead...for more than a couple lines...'i'll be there" and 'stand by you' are counted in that...and 'stronger' too...out of as many albums they had...i'd be a little iffy about reuniting also...and less happy about just dancing in the back during live showings...lol
Personally no one could beat Jo for the high notes in 3:18. Even though I remembered I was pretty surprised to see Rachel pulling this off beautifully at that time. :D I was reading some of the comments here, and IMO, if Alive was to re-record by the second most powerful lead vocal, I would actually choose Tina. I remember watching the Carnival documentary and Tina could easily pull out such powerful and loud voices during warm-up (which was commented by Hannah as 'funny and extremely loud').

But I love this version too! Rachel added some of her own flavor to this song, especially the 'there's a heaven for you and I' part in 3:00. :)

Bring back the pop group musics!!!!
Now it's only R&B,Hip Hop and Rock!
I agree with Emilie!

I love this song!
Hannah is soo gorgeous! I love her.
There’s a heaven for you. There’s a heaven for me. There’s a heaven for you and me.

I like Jon's moves! And I like this song!! Rachel is really good!

This is when Jo had back problems so Rachel did the vocals here, but on the album it is Jo singing :)
my too!! :D

I miss S club!
this version rocks my socks!

Go Rachel!
found the mp3 yay!!
rachel is known for her good looks and jo is known for having a great singing voice...
When you have 2 great options and you can't choose between them.
I don't know. I mean, it was okay; Rachel's runs were interesting, but I like Jo's version better, because she hit her vocals with fuller voice.
Work button factory Rachel
yea
the reason she sings more then the other girls is cuz she has a stronger voice.. all the girls have said that about jo.. ive heard it in interviews...
I think during that time Jo (thats her name), had serious back problems so they had rachel sing Jo's parts.
rachel looks good
I like Rache's version...
Same. She has a beautiful voice, unlike Jo.
@@DragonMistEcstasyI believe Jo’s got a powerful voice. Her personality though…
@@ControleComPhilpowerful yes. Beautiful, sadly no. Hence the distinction.
@@DragonMistEcstasy that makes a hell lot of sense though
Rachel is so hot
she got to sing lead quitea few times in who do you think you are
if they did it without the mics there would pretty much be no need for them to even be up there
i think so
tinas dancing like shes affraid to break a nail or something.. shes not moving around like the others r.
just u
@ZiPaD3doDAH u mean mime......
poor Jo!
i agree, i like jos voice, but its too powerful for a group. I like rachel's more, its a softer but still powerful, just a different way
ok than...
um wheres jo?
what happen with Jo and Paul? *-*
Jo had back problem and Paul left s club 7 and they rename s club
When Jon and Bradley do their moves, the back vocals still are the same as always, but I believe the main voices are real.
most people don't
at first i really liked tina because she was always dancing so lively but now in this video clip she barely moves! she's not dancing like she used to!
tina dances poorly in here.. she looks like she aint even trying...
