This makes me genuinely wish it was in the game overall! It adds so much more to your spouses that you feel should already be there
I passed out for the first time in the mine in the save I married Sebastian in and he actually was the one who found me. I don't have any mods, I play on switch. It wasn't anything like this but he did get emotional. He said he got worried when I didn't come home and came to find me then saw my limp body and started crying. I have screenshots of it.

I feel like Alex would’ve reacted a bit more panicked considering his mom died. Losing his spouse so soon would be devastating. Speaking from experience of losing my parents a few years before I met the love of my life.
Agreed. Alex is my favorite spouse. He becomes open about how much he loves you and his mom's death really impacted him. He seems to be "too strong and manly" when it came to this particular dialogue. It's almost as if whoever made this mode only went off the first two or three heart events.

You bring up a good point.
This is why I would never download any mods that add dialogues to all the original townies.
If the mod creator writes them in bulk, some of them will always end up out of character.

She offended me from the start and never apologized so thats why i kinda dislike her but then she changed and i gave her a chance. But still dont like how some people just ignore she was so selfish and rude when we met, just judging us for being farmers.
I honestly feel that her focus on how terrible the player looks after being defeated in the mines/cavern is possibly a way of trying to manage her worry. Stress can do weird things like that to a person.

Yeah, I think he was on the verge of a total meltdown but he was still in full-blown doctor mode JUST to survive, that when the farmer woke up, he started to break, hence running to his room so he didn’t break down in front of the farmer
spoiler alert: there's an alternate reaction for Elliott when you die and he's away on his tour. i only got the one for skull cavern, now I'm curious to see the cave mines reaction.
I plan on uploading those scenes, along with a few scenes when Leo finds the player unconscious in the volcano, in part 4. I was worried the videos might be too long

I'm not sure of the rest of these cutscenes but once when I died in the mines I got a cutscene with Sebastian and he said something along the lines of "I couldn't stop crying when I saw your lifeless body"

Haunted: The Audio Drama PLEASEPLEASE PLEAAASE its rlly good. Theres not much hurt comfort in the first episodes, but as the season progresses, theres more and more, and also in the second season. Mostly pain and fainting (and people get concerned and caring about each other wahoo) but in season 2, theres also some getting sick
As someone who married Haley I just wish her dialogue felt more like her nicer dialogue when you get more hearts with her since it sounds more like her early dialogue where she cares more about appearance and clothing.

Wow I thought this was already part of vanilla stardew, but apparently not- After I got married, I got wayyy more careful in Skull Cavern just so that Seb wouldn’t worry, so I never got the chance to see if they actually reacted to your farmer ending up in the hospital.
I think Seb and Elliot are still the only ones who have somewhat of a reaction in the vanilla version.

It kinda feels like this mod doesn't take the character development of some NPCs into consideration. Most notably Haley's and Alex's, whose personalities improve a lot once you get to know them better. I doubt the Haley who is your wife would say stuff like "your hair is all messed up" when you're just out of the surgery room. And Alex saying he beat his personal best time while running to you is downright ridiculous. Every single spouse having telepathic abilities also feels a bit silly ngl.
Haley would be fuss over you and be really, really thoughtful. I feel like Alex would be the most scared of them all since he lost his mother rather suddenly and his grandfather got paralyzed in a mining accident.

lmao is it bad that the first thing I thought of when I was watching Maru's hospital scene was "WHY ARENT YOU WEARING YOUR NURSE OUTFIT MARU"
discarded after surgery because contamination (health rules dictate that Drs and Nurses gotta discard surgery outfits after surgery to avoid creating infections on other patients or in the same patient) also must had been a few hours after surgery so she had enough time for cloth changing again

I would like this sure, but Haley just feels so different to what you would expect from her. The whole ordeal of dating her is that she wants to become less spoiled and care less for material things. All her dialogue just feels like someone talking about how their clothes would get ruined. Good job sure, but I really don’t like how Haley is portrayed.
The Abgail reaction is my favorite because the end of the reaction.
After Abby's 14 heart event, this just gives me a headcanon of how determined she is to join us when we're venturing into the caves!

My husband is a real life Alex lol 🤣 and has an even sadder backstory. When Alex says something loving but dumb, I always crack up because my husband would say the same. 🤣🤣 he'd definitely punch a slime for me too. Or take a bulls anger to save my crippled butt. Though my real life husband does chores more than Alex does. All I have to do is feed my horse, the goats, and the bottle baby calves while he's at work. He does the evening chores and repairs the fences... Apparently duck tape isnt the correct repairs needed 😅

This mod should be vanilla. I love mods that flesh out the NPCs.
Also, Harvey charging 1000G after marriage is so odd out-of-context. But I like to think of it as the equivalent of a swear jar. "Honey, you promised you'd be more careful! My heart can't take this stress. You know how I worry about you!"
