    Retired Superintendent of the Peoria County Sherriff's Office was the first Black woman to hold the office of Undersheriff and is one of three Certified Jail Managers in the State of Illinois. Guyton holds a BA in Criminal Justice from U of I @ Springfield (summa cum laude), and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from U of I @ Chicago. She is involved with the Greater Peoria YMCA, the African American Hall of Fame Museum, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, the Livingston Legacy Scholarship and owner of Ronda Guyton Travel Agency. She is also the recipient of several awards including U of I Loyalty, ELITE Charles Schofield, 25 Women in Leadership, Susan G. Komen memorial affiliate Volunteer, Woman of Influence and the African American Hall of Fame Museum. Guyton founded the Living to Serve Foundation, Inc. after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. Ronda gives of her talents and resources to many different organizations throughout Central Illinois.
