I use this all the time but i dont use it all across the banner. The wrinkles and tunneling make the banner look awful. So I cut tabs of this PowerTape and use where the grommets will be installed.
Hi Blue Ghost! Thanks for your comments on the PowerTape. Your point is well taken that there can be some tunneling with the PowerTape. Kind of the nature of the beast and a tradeoff for the added strength compared to no hemming. Of course folded taped hem tunnels even worse as well when rolled. That said, we do have another version called Clear PowerTape. Have you tried that? It is made of a thinner reinforced film that is clear but just as strong as the original PowerTape. It tends to tunnel significantly less. there is a significant strength increase to going the whole way across with the PowerTape. As you have probably found thought, for many jobs, that may not be needed. If you do run into a situation where you do need maximum strength, I would suggest that you use the Clear PowerTape and go end to end. Thanks for being a loyal customer!
Hi Rob. sorry we were aware of that error. I suggest rolling it with the print side in and the tape on the outside. You will still get some tunneling but less that way. we also have a product called PowerTape Clear, which uses a more supple film. It has an even better performance when rolled up. He says roll banner print face in, but rolls it out in the video. Which should it be?

@@BANUP01 I have the clear version of this tape. What I've been doing is taping it to the back of the banner on the edges.
