Great vid as I am still trying to learn mine, which is alolt since its my first Garmin. Curious where the screenshots go. I changed mine to do the same but still haven't found them.
I would like to receive alerts (vibration or sound) when I follow a route on the Garmin fenix 8. At the moment I only see the route and only get visual notifications. Can you help?
Question about the log HRV function. I have this already being logged in Garmin's Connect app (HRV Status in the "At a Glance" screen?), even though I had Log turned off (well until now). Is this 3rd party software much more detailed than Garmin's Connect app?
As I said, that HRV status only refers to your overnight HRV, but this one is different in that you can log your HRV during training as well and it's not enabled by default. That software is a scientific tool (so not your average app made by one person) that allows you to do a more professional in-depth analysis. The Garmin connect app doesn't show this afaik.
I bought the Fenix 8 51 amoled! Far too many bugs!! The watch at night is unreadable due to auto-deeming (i have set mine in highest brightness but it deems so much that I can’t use it.. never had this issue with Fenix7X or EpixPro 51 amoled) Aldo the watch lags in many functions e.g on the screen you change watchfaces.. it’s ridiculous for such an expensive piece of tech!
I had a 43mm Fenix 8 that also had too many bugs. I ended up returning it. Earlier this week I received the Fenix 47mm MIP version and have had zero bugs so far (knock on wood)
Hi, great video I just want to know some more feature regarding receiving calls. Normally i wear wireless bluetooth, so if i answer the incoming call from the watch, so the voice of the other person will come from the watch, mobile or my connected wireless bluetooth? If, by answering the call from the watch, the voice of other person comes from the watch, so does the watch has the option to switch the voice of other person to my connected bluetooth from the watch itself..? Please make a detail video of it Thanks....
Yes, if you answer from the phone the sound will come from the watch. You have a button to switch audio to phone. Haven't tested it but most likely if you have a headset connected to the watch, the audio will be there.
@@bkosm please read my question properly My question is.. if my earbuds or headset is connected to my phone, & i answer the incoming call from mthe watch, so so from where does the voice of other person will come from? The watch, phone or the earbuds which are connected to my phone? And, does the watch itself has an option to change the audio source to the connected earbuds from the watch itself or will i need to pull out my phone ? Please answer and also make a short video please Thanks
I would like to suggest that you not keep your fingers on the buttons because we are not sure which and when you're activating the buttons. it's not clear!!
Whoa! Finally in an in-depth video about configurations and features and not just scratching the basics, love it. Awesome content!!

@@RyansTechMedia Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I missed the part about HRV being overnight only, so makes more sense now.
Can't find Frost iirc watch faceon connect IQ :(
Sounds like you don't have the Fenix 8. Apparently that's not available on the IQ app to download for other watches.
@RyansTechMedia I do have it,just didn't know it's pre installed on my watch. All good I found it
