Ok, since Juiz's Unjustice at first glance looks a little like Shen's Untruth, let me explain: Juiz's power doesn't make the opponent do THE EXACT OPPOSITE of the action they were thinking to do (this is what Shen's power does). Instead, she makes the opponent act OPPOSITE TO THEIR OWN VISION OF MORAL AND JUSTICE. So it's not a specific act, she can make the enemy do things they weren't even thinking about it, as long as it goes against what they belief it's "justice / moral". In other words: she can turn a saint into a killer, and vice-versa. Go back to ep 5, when they joined the Union. Tatiana attacked Andy, and when they were about to fight, Juiz used her Unjustice, and Andy's arm (he was holding a sword) moved to Fuko's neck, and Tatiana was about to shoot Billy. It wasn't the "opposite" to what they were about to do, but instead, they were about to attack the person who they are fond of the most.
What a great explanation I’ve been reading UU since day 1 but I always wondered the details of how Juiz’s abilities aren’t completely similars to Shen’s
@@Kevin-og3do one guy didn't like my comment in another channel, but in my honest opinion, the manga never did a good job explaining her power correctly, so....
To make it simpler on how different Unjustice and Untruth is: Me: "I'm going kill my enemy" Untruth -> "I'm NOT going to kill my enemy" Unjustice -> "I'm going to kill my allies"
Bruh this show is so slept on cause it's on Hulu but its generally one of my favorite new anime worlds. Im so intrigued by these concepts. Love the reactions bro keep it up!
It’s so dope seeing anime only’s reacting and predicting to things as they watch new episodes. Takes me back to how it was like that when the manga chapters were coming out weekly and people were reacting to and predicting abilities
As someone who has been reading UU since day one, the chapter that was revealed in was insane and instantly got me hooked lol. UU definitely has one of my all time favorite power systems. It’s just so damn unique lol
I've been keeping up with the manga weekly since chapter 1 first dropped and this chapter is what made me realize how subtle the author is when it comes to giving hints about future developments and foreshadowing. After this chapter me and many others began to pay waaaay more attention, if something as random as Victor mentioning the days of the week was relevant, then potentially any throwaway line could hold info on the worldbuilding and history of this world! And believe me, it's really like that. UU rewards observant fans more than many other series
Fun fact the Acks appearing was chapter 20 in the manga, WSJ has a thing called U19 where new series get cancelled, or “axed” before they reached that number. So when Juiz drove the Acks away from their planet, it’s basically the author saying “My manga won’t be cancelled” and it now has nearly 200 chapters
anime only here: somebody mentioned something. remember when Victor came out he asked Shen what day of the week it was and Shen didnt know what he was talking about? So victor knew about weekdays before galaxy was released. so probably ragnaraok already happened once and reset everything im thinking. after this episode the older eps hit different. cause Fuko made a painting with stars without having the concept of stars at the time. thats crazy. need to go rewatch some eps haha
So up until now I guess there have been 98 "rules" added and any could have been at the scale of the concept of space and celestial bodies itself. Also Fuko painted Stars in an earlier episode which didnt exist in this world, but now they do. and Andy talked about weeks and years before which is also a concept that didnt exist until this ruleset got added (Shen also didnt know what he was talking about) so there is def some weird stuff going on in background rn
I read UU the second I saw the first trailer for the anime and I loved every second of it. The anime is really living up to that hype that I felt since reading it, the fluid animation, the fight scenes, the voice acting and the music have just knocked my expectations out of the park. They are doing this show justice and I will be sad when this season ends and we have to wait for more heat.
As a manga reader-this was when I got hooked to the series! This series will only get crazier! I’m extremely pleased with the adaptation so far. I like the little added scenes that help develop Andy and Fuuko and help develop the story in general. I’m not a fan of how long these recaps are but other than that, it’s a passionate adaptation! I just pray they adapt the autumn arc (which they probably will but with how much they slowed the pacing down it worries me). And perhaps a new opening for the 2nd cour?! That would be sick!
As an anime-only, I need the long recaps!😆 It's a lot of information to take in. I have to pause just to read and re-read the subtitles... or it could be my reading ability🤔.
Thanks, that makes me feel better. The first few episodes were a real struggle but my understanding is getting easier with each episode. Despite my struggle, I'm enjoying this anime very much.
@@CharTurner6928 If it helps try not to think too logically about how negator powers work in UU, they literally "break the rules". The author has said that these powers aren't based in logic, but instead they reside in the soul. Powers can change as negators learn more about themselves and can change based on interpretation! For example, Void Volks, the negator "Unavoidable" (who was killed in the 2nd episode), was previously a boxer before joining the Union. As such, he applies "Unavoidable" to targets as he punches them, but the next human to inherit Unavoidable will most likely use the power differently. What if they don't fight? They could be a gambler who makes it "unavoidable" that they win, etc. Glad you're enjoying it!
Well yeah, i read the manga from day one and it's kind of different actually reading or watching it.. though the music that plays on introducction, opening and ending is greatly capture by David Production... They know what they are doing. What can i tell you is this can go on through the imagination of the creator of the show. It's Unlimited.
Blond dude at the beginning of the ep.... voiced by EREN YEAGER Mui (Shen's girl) is voiced by MIKASA ACKERMANN 2 AOT MCs already, need more voice actors from AOT. XD
So far as a manga read I feel like the adaptation is a little underwhelming ngl. The animation feels a little wonky at times and the pacing is almost as bad as One Piece anime since just like OP, undead unluck is only adapting one chapter per episode. This reveal however was done justice. No pun intended. 😂 My mind blew when this was first revealed in the manga. It became from a pretty fun little manga to WOW this is actually pretty dope.
It’s adapting two chapters an episode not one, that was only the first episode because of the first chapters double length. And it makes sense that two is the average because the manga chapters are rather dense, averaging 20 pages at times. NTM they seem to want to end the episodes at particular points hence why they put padding in some spots. Don’t get what you mean by wonky animation though…

Wait till you see how deep this actually goes. I wasnt ready for the twists in this manga
I haven’t seen a power system/world building anime this clean since HxH in my opinion 😮💨
Just read a ton of chapters and man. This series is so cool.
Damn the subtle foreshadowing at a reveal in this episode for manga readers 👀

This show needs more talk. Its often about Frieren, but I dont see anyone talking about this show like that. It's pretty great.
