I was skeptical about holistic treatments, but Dr Oyalo changed my mind. His approach to treating autism in toddlers focuses on natural remedies and has made a huge difference for my daughter. Her sensory issues and tantrums have decreased noticeably.
My son was diagnosed with mild autism (high functioning). He underwent therapies for 4 years. Thank God he overcame his social deficit. He was a consistent honor pupil/student. And now excelling in college at the top university in our country. Thank you for an early intervention and thank you, too, for his developmental pedia and therapists who helped us through the journey.
i was once a babysitter of a HongKong chinese boy with autism. I was with them when he was 3 months old. what i noticed at first was that he does not have a reaction on whatever playful exercises i did with him. Simple acts like peekabo, clapping, singing, making faces. no reaction at all even when he was already 11 months old. Since it was the Chinese grandma who was with me taking care of the infant, i told her my observations. She got mad at me and said her grandson is not crazy, which is not what i meant at all. i really love the boy so i spoke to the parents to have him tested by the specialists but they were in denial even when they can see the signs like rocking, eating the same kind of food, not feeling pain, not being able to speak, doing the same thing over and over again. when i finally convinced them to have him checked up, the couple and grandma broke down and cried when the doctor confirmed he has autism. when i left hongkong for good, the boy was getting intervention activities feom therapists so that they can correct his behavior. now, all i can do is pray that may this boy lead a life supported and loved for being what/who he is... and may all the pieces of the puzzle come to their correct places.
Most of parent's don't like to be told anything about their Children. As a former year 1 Teacher It happened to me. I told a parent about his son and he became annoyed and reported me at the Administration
My 10 yr old son has ADHD. yes, may link sila ng behavior ng Autism..eto ung ibang nakikita ko sa anak ko 1 . lack of eye contact minsan 4 over or underreacting to stimuli 5. low sense of danger Mahilig din anak ko sa tubig.
Very informative Teacher Kaye and Ms. Abby. Thank you so much! Parang eto yung wake up call sa akin na mas observe ko at tutukan ang 1 year old son ko ❤🙏
To have children with special Needs requires a lot of love and patience. I am lucky to have all our family support my grandson And having his early therapy At the age of 4 He studied in Sped Pasay And we are very grateful to all teachers Whose dedication to their students Developed many sped children and were able to study in a normal school. They proved to be very intelligent They excel in math, English and science. My grandson is now in second year college taking up BM major in accountancy And is a Dean's Lister Total average 94

I have twin boys and I believe one is more on the spectrum of autism and the other has ADHD. The information was helpful. they are both in a school that deals with their challenges. Some of my family members are in denial though.
Hi teacher! Im so glad to be here in your channel, what you discuss is very typical talaga of ASD. My boy is 4 years old and was diagnosed before he turns 2. Same with my son ng 1 year old nag talk sya ng mama and papa then nawala. Thankfully hindi na ako nag denial pa. Now my son is somehow talking na and can express some of his needs. Super thankful to SLP and OT’s and teachers who helped us.
How did you do it my dear, my son is 2.5 years and has been diagnosed with ASD, he is delayed in speech, he can’t follow directions and also he cries a lot I see it as his means of communication. I need help though we have been working with E I , but I need to do more as a mum, please can you share your ideas with me. Please help a sister
My son is now 30 years old , I never have known he has these issues. It was a very difficult job raising him. We thought he was normal just like the other kids. He had issues potty training until he was 10. He grew up in a world where nobody thought he has autism and the result was he was bullied. Anyways he is now working and seems ok but still if we should we known it earlier... perhaps all of us wouldn’t have to undergo most of the pain. Thank you so much for the information. You can help a lot of the parents , teachers and kids out there For I am a teacher myself. .
Our child is 1 year & 8 mos old... He has words like dada & mama but very minimal... He has eye contact but he doesn't follow commands and doesnt respond when you call his name. Is it possible he has autism?
Patient talaga...but now i am luckily that may jared boy so loving, concern he knows the good and the bad now he is 7yrs old he knows mathematics like addition am so happy for him... the doctor said there's no problem with his motor skills we focus now his speech therapy so far now its good improvement he knows how to say mama ateh go to school in a loving voice that,s like a baby but am ok with that i know that there,s a way to improve that much am not got loosing hope i believe that he be ok someday in god grace🙏
Thank you for sharing your amazing story, Armelin! ✨ Nakaka-inspire what patience, love, and never-ending support can do! Thank you for being here, and hope you can subscribe for more videos that can hopefully help you practice your targets at home!
There is permanent herbs to improve autism. It’s a medicine you can get from Dr Oyalo, his herbs have made my son improve perfectly in his speech and social skills.
Thanks teacher abby for sharing also! Its important din po sa parents na they wont feel na alone sila and such a relief to hear about others experiences dealing with ASD..
I contact is really number 1 sign. I'm not saying all kids with autism have this but this is one of the most common things along with not reacting when you are calling him by his name.
Thank you so much, i have a grandeon that diagnose with autisim too, we're from the pacific islanders we came to us when he was one years old but i still dont know about this autism, i just keep taking care of him when he start walking he likes to be alone play by his own but everytime i try to take him to play with his cousins he just left them and be bu his own, now he's goinf on 8yrs he is in school, last year the doctor diagonse him that he has autism ,we are trying to be more careful ,everythinf you said i saw in him , the school is alo helping him too , he love reading, doing math ,he so funny but he is lovable, like to hugable ,when we make noise he just run to us and said please turn down but he make loud sound he so happy thank you so much so now we're in kansas and all the help we have we xan not get from back home so we're staying here to make a better life for him , again thank you i want to learn more from you all .
very informative teacher my son is 12 and kahit teen ager na sya mahirap mawala ang stimming sa kanila kahit mjo nakaka pag salita na tlgang way nila yun para i regulate yung mga emotions nila.
Thank you so much for sharing this! Ramdam ko po ang naging journey ninyo together, and kitang-kita rin ang bunga ng inyong love and patience to teach him, and to adjust to each other. Yes, there will be things that will not be the same as "neurotypical" individuals, tulad nalang ng stimming. This can be calming for them, a coping mechanism of sorts, and basta hindi nakakasakit sa sarili at sa iba, ay okay yun. We do not restrict that just to appear "normal" sa paningin ng iba. Importante ay masaya siya, natututunan niyang makipag-communicate and even show affection 🥰 Salamat talaga sa pag-share, sana mabasa ito ng mga kasama natin dito, at ma-inspire din sila sa inyo. MABUHAY! ✨
Our medical technology has been improved alot long time ago. During the child birthing, the med people will get blood sample from the foot heel of the infant. From this blood sample, most of the abnormalities are easily seen and known.
I'm not sure what you're talking about, because getting blood samples from a foot sounds like something they did in the 1600s, but no, you cannot detect Autism from a blood sample.
This is a "beautifully versed" compliment that I'm so thankful to receive ✨️ happy to have you here, Mrs. Amelia! I have an Autism playlist that may help you understand more about neurodiversity.
Thank you for this, Teacher Kaye! I'm not sure bakit ngayong ko lang nakita ang youtube channel niyo, I hope date pa kasi very informative. I'm a Special Education teacher and I was just researching for a topic sa MA class ko and saw this! Thank you! I'll definitely share this with my classmates. 😊
@@TeacherKayeTalks ayy. .thank you po teacher!
My child who is now yrs and 4 months (ASD/GDD) , now has 60 word and word approximations. All thanks to 1x a week OT and 2x ST the 14 months. We were lucky to have secured F2F slots. So many parents are still waiting for slots to open in centers all over Metro manila.
hi teacher kaye i also have a son with autism he is 17 years old now and grade 1 student this coming school year...he really teach me how become patience in many ways...
❤ Eye contact is not in the critiria to get the diagnose - I Think its like, not importent for us.. So we dont brother.. and then ppl get all “LOOK AT ME WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU” and thereby many get problems with the eye contact part.. Not me tho, and I teached my son the kind and heartwarm type of eye contact… But many dont get to have that kind of love, especially when they are “wierd” like me 😅
Hello Rikke! Thanks for sharing your story and perspective. 💖 While eye contact may not be important for those on the spectrum, it is one of the 1st social skills exhibited by neurotypical babies, and therefore an indication that may help identify Autism early. The world is (very slowly) becoming more aware of neurodivergence, and this is why we keep telling our stories and experiences. We want to remove the stigma of "weird" and embrace the reality that we all have differences, and different is okay. ✨️ Keep loving!
NEW PARENTS: Stop looking for signs when they're babies! When my baby is younger I was convinced she had autism bcoz she had all the signs, I spent so much time worrying for when me and I my husband are gone, who will take care of her? I was going nuts for almost 2 years and turned out she doesn't have autism. I didnt get to enjoy her for almost 2 years because i was so busy overthinking and obsessing with future preperation.
I understand you had a sad experience, but perhaps a better perspective can help other families. We don't LOOK for signs, but we want to be observant and open-minded about a child's difficulties so we can help them early on. Thank you for sharing your story, and hope things are better for your family. ✨
Hi! What are the other signs you have seen in your child when she was younger? Im getting paranoid bec my daughter has few signs of asd. But she does good eye contact and most of the time responds to her name. We play peek a boo all the time and if im busy looking at my phone she will suddenly lean at me and stare me for a few seconds while smiling then she will run and play again. But I saw her one day lining up her toys and slippers and i was so worried. Then she does tiptoeing so much before but now its lessen. She spin around sometimes if shes not playing. I'm so worried and my anxiety is not helping. She imitates me if I'm doing something sometimes. Should i really be worried? My daughter is 15 months old. She knows 10 words and some sounds of animals. She points at things too.
@@Nit01-x4t my daughter does lines up things and spin around, would also flip her walkers and play with wheels only. She didn't say words until 19 months but hasn't stopped since. I think your kid is neuro typical tbh. Anxiety consumed me for 2 years because of this, i wish i can turn back time because i feel like i wasted 2 years of her life being focused on these things. Now my kid still lines up things that's because she's a neat freak and she got it from her dad. Other than that, She's just like other neurotypical kids just a extra sassy and talkative. 😅 I hope I eased down your mind, at the same time I understand because I was once there. Hugs!
@@alaskapinanay thank you so much. This makes me feel a lot better now. I was really worried since my 2 cousin's sons were diagnosed asd and adhd. Everyday i always think what will be my child's future. She's our only child. That really scares me a lot.
@@Nit01-x4t i had the same worries. My first cousin has Severe ASD, non verbal at all, my husband has a Nephew who's also has AsD. I was truly convinced that she had it, coming from a small family and her being an only child, leaving her behind with diagnosis was my biggest fear. I broke down so many times, even had to take Zoloft to calm me down. 🥹

Hi Celeste! Mabuting napansin mo, at ang pagiging open-minded ay nagpapakitang you are doing your best ✨ Nandito ako para suportahan kita, balitaan niyo ho ako!
Hi maam, of all the various types of neuro developmental disorders present right now, it seems autism is the primary fear and concern for any new parents to encounter for their children this 21st century, its sad as I heard numerous stories of the foundation/relationship of parents tilting either for the good or worst the moment they found out their child is autistic. 😔😔😔😔
Very good observation, RDU23. It has a lot to do with how media portrays (and has portrayed) Autism, and there are so many misconceptions about it as well. It causes fear, especially when they don't understand it. It's true that life for an Autistic can be filled with difficulties (they wouldn't be diagnosed with it if it doesn't impact their life differently), and life WITH an Autistic can be challenging, too. All the more we have to spread awareness, so that fears can turn into action, for help that the child and their family might need; so that services can be better made accessible by the government; so that society becomes more accepting, compassionate, and inclusive. Thank you for being here, and sharing your reflection ✨
Teacher Kaye, my son turned 3 last July. Nakakafollow sya mg instructions very well. No repetitive behavior. Nakaka-answer din ng questions what or where. Can use where and what and what happened questions in certain scenarios. But very often answers “Yes” in a question. Normal po ba yun with his age? Sana po mapansin.

Hi teacher kaye! I have almost 2 years old son, I don't think my son is autistic because none of those signs were applied him except that speech delayed. It's difficult for him to speak even hello. But he can speak 'mama, tata, and dada'. What exactly the problem of my son?
My son used to watch Mr Bean and he couldnt talk until he was 3. Now he is in 5th year in computer engineering, an honor student and very fluent in speaking English. Some kids are just delayed in speech esp boys. Trust God your son is ok.🙏
I love autism because God created them in that way @ they had a big place in heaven I remembered my Milton in Hongkong I was taking care of him for 8years at first he had no eye contact he always screamed without reason his parents take him to the therapist school until his behavior changed into normal EVERYTHING IN THIS VIDEO ARE TRUE @ I CAN PROVE IT TO MY BELOVED MILTON NOW THAT I'M HERE IN PHILIPPINES I MISS HIM SO MUCH TAKING CARE OF AUTISM IS NOT EASY BUT YOU NEED TO LOVE THEM IN THAT WAY EASY FOR YOU TO TEACH THEM INTO THE WAY OF MOVEMENTS @ CONTROL THEIR BEHAVIOR
Teacher kaye, yung baby ko is 3 years old na po na nakaka communicate naman sya yun lang di nya po kaya e explain lalo na pag why? What happened yung tanong, sasabihin niya lang na like this, like that with demonstration kumakanta po sya pero more on humming nalang kasi d masyado clear😢
Hi Teacher Kaye, hope you don’t mind, but can I ask if you could recommend a speech therapist? My son is 14 and we just went to a devt pedia just this June 2022. Our doctor said he would need s speech therapist and i’m hoping he could start sessions na, before it’s too late..
Hi miss kaye! My 18mos old boy still not talking, and now starting become frustating kasi di nkakasalita. First week of june start po sya sa play and learn school para maobserve ko po kung mkikihalubilo sya sa ibang kids. Minsan pag tinatawag ko sya by his name hundi nagrereact.

Hi Bobby! Glad to have you here ✨ Unang payo ko , dahil nabanggit ninyo na nakakanood ang baby ng nursery rhymes, kung nanonood pa ang bata ng videos, kahit po "educational," itigil po muna, mas lalo kung nakakapansin tayo ng kakaibang behavior para sa kaniyang edad. Hi Lina! As early as you note any significant deviations from developmental milestones. For example: not cooing at 3 months (aahh, oooh), not babbling between 6-10 months (mamama, tata), no single meaningful words by 1 year old, etc. Check out this video for some common patterns of development: Pre-Speaking Checklist ua-cam.com/video/NsJ6SxcApPg/v-deo.html Hope this helps! ✨
Yung kuya po nung bata lahat po ng sign na sinabi dto is nsa kuya ko, peru nun nag 15 sya naging maayos n po sya ngayon actually nsa abroad sya regular n sya s work nya everyyear po umuwe
Hello iamj!

Hi! My son will turn two this October …..he has been flapping and squealing since a little before turning one that I can recall. Sometimes he responds to his name, most time he just continues doing whatever it is he’s doing. He walks on his tippy toes. He gives a mean side eye. Out of nowhere he has laugh fits (he’s not being tickled or watching anything) he cracks up for minutes at absolutely nothing. He use to say mama, now at 23 months he only says “dada, stop, yes( but the y is replaced by h) , and go. However he says certain words in songs. For example if watching Cocomelon any song with the words see, sky, one ,three( to name a few) he will sing. He literally eats only ramen noodles, Bacon, plain fried rice, nacho cheese bugles, and apple sauce. I mainly feed him in smoothie form. He is obsessed with fans(ceiling or floor) , moving cars, and wheels on anything from toys to wheel chairs. He likes to play alone and will have a meltdown from loud sounds. He’s fascinated with words moving across the screen(like news stats on cnn that move across the tv). I’ve stopped going to restaurants because he is very whiny and irritated every time we go. He loves to look at lights…almost like he’s mesmerized. He takes off and run back and forth across the room a few times daily. He rocks from side to side constantly. He has not been diagnosed because his doctor won’t assess him before turning two….the signs are very clear that he is definitely on the spectrum. Any beginner things I can do to start working with him???
Hi Raque, where are you from? It's possible that the doctor has identified some of the characteristics you described, but is not certain that it cannot be explained by other conditions (differential diagnosis is so important, because Autism has some qualities that are similar to other diagnoses). Here are some videos that may help you understand the possible roots of the child's behaviors. Many times: behavior is communication, and we want to be able to respond to all attempts at communication. Regression -- explains why some of his previous skills are no longer observed: ua-cam.com/video/dd7ozgCV9pk/v-deo.html Stimming / Repetitive Behaviors (like flapping, side-eyeing, laughing with no apparent trigger, tiptoeing) ua-cam.com/video/tLRSkxXxusM/v-deo.html Repeating words or phrases - Gestalt ua-cam.com/video/l4t041zGmdU/v-deo.html If the child has screen/gadget exposure, go on a full detox for an experimental period of at least 2 weeks, and observe for changes or improvement in behavior. No matter how short the time spent watching, no matter the content (whether we think it’s educational or not), if a child is already delayed or showing atypical behaviors, best to remove the factors that could be contributing to it. See explanation of the effects of screen time to baby brains here: ua-cam.com/video/OmZvmt-6Zug/v-deo.html See signs of screen addiction here: instagram.com/p/CRJYfz7j_wq/ I hope these help you with your next steps! ✨
Also -- Virtual Autism ua-cam.com/video/R-fFfIkfWVs/v-deo.html It will help the doctor drastically if, before your follow-up, you go on full screen detox, so we are more or less certain that it's not because of overstimnulation. Spacing out usually means they are trying to process their thoughts to much (usually from things they watch that they don't understand) that they lose touch of what's happening at the moment.

We also pray hard together with our grandson
Prayers make miracles
We come from a poor family
That is why he studied in Sped
We share this to inspire
Families with children with
Special needs to bring them
To developmental pediatrician
No medication to be given
Just teach them also
By correcting whatever wrong
They are doing
Massage their hands when
They tend to be unrully
Give the puzzle games
To play with
Most of all do not spoil them
Give them patience ,understanding
,Most of all LOVE and teach them
To pray.
Thank you so much for sharing, Antonina! I agree with everything you said, you are a wonderful grandmother! ✨

Halos mga Bata Dito may ganon problem Yong ibang magulang ayaw Nila pa check up or ayaw nilang taggapin
His behavior does not need to be "corrected" unless it's harming other people
same sakin..alaga ko ngayon my autism..1 ½ yrs old sya..ang hirap turo.an ng bata..minsan lang sya mag salita ng mama at papa..yun bang parang swerte2 lang na ma bigkas nya yung mga salita na yun..minsan lang talaga..kahit ulit2in mo na sabihin nya ang "mama" or "papa" iiyak lang sya at mag lulupasay..sobrang hirap kc pag lumalabas kami, ayaw nya mag lakad..gusto nya karga lang sya the whole day na lakad!!isipin nyo yun hanggang gabi ka karga2 mo sya 🤦♀️🤦♀️ ibaba mo lang sya,mag start na syang umiyak..tenitrain q sya mag lakad, pero sobrang hirap..pinagtitinginan aq ng mga tao kc sya grabe na ang iyak nya pero walang luha..ang lakas pa ng boses..kahit ilang metro lang nilakad nya, napaka hirap na para sa kany..😩😩 sana my himala ang panginoon na lahat ng my autism ay maging normal kagaya natin 🙏❤️

You can help a lot of the parents , teachers and kids out there For I am a teacher myself. .
Hello! Wanna ask if what kind of job did the boy working.?
He is now working in the states as a translator and interpreter from Chinese to English vice versa.
Please when did he start speaking

Importante ay masaya siya, natututunan niyang makipag-communicate and even show affection 🥰

Our medical technology has been improved alot long time ago. During the child birthing, the med people will get blood sample from the foot heel of the infant. From this blood sample, most of the abnormalities are easily seen and known.
I'm not sure what you're talking about, because getting blood samples from a foot sounds like something they did in the 1600s,
but no, you cannot detect Autism from a blood sample.

Doubt grows with knowledge. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
While eye contact may not be important for those on the spectrum, it is one of the 1st social skills exhibited by neurotypical babies, and therefore an indication that may help identify Autism early.
The world is (very slowly) becoming more aware of neurodivergence, and this is why we keep telling our stories and experiences. We want to remove the stigma of "weird" and embrace the reality that we all have differences, and different is okay. ✨️ Keep loving!
salamat Sa pag share kasi anak may problema din

Hi teacher anong episode po yung language stimulation nyo po. Salamat po

thank you so much teacher kaye...i learn a lot about autism. my have a ADHD i guest b'cause he hard to understand and fallow simple rules

My grandson is autistic, he is now 6 years old. He does not like the sound of motorcycle, he would shout to the top of his voice and cry.
This means alot

Hi, can a Speech Language Pathologist test for Autism and make a diagnosis?
Teacher kaye, yung baby ko is 3 years old na po na nakaka communicate naman sya yun lang di nya po kaya e explain lalo na pag why? What happened yung tanong, sasabihin niya lang na like this, like that with demonstration kumakanta po sya pero more on humming nalang kasi d masyado clear😢
These really helpful thank you x
Hi teacher Anu pong vitamins recommend niyo KC medyo mahina Po Ang IQ nG Girl ko..
There is permanent herbs to improve autism. It’s a medicine you can get from Dr Oyalo, his herbs have made my son improve perfectly in his speech and social skills.
Thank you so much maam❤
Hi teacher Kaye,,glad na nakita ko po itong channel nio,,very helpful po at mas lalo ko naiintindihan,,, ung anak ko po na 1year and 6mos.di pa rin po nagsasalita, puro babbling lng po and nakakapag create naman cia ng sound,,maingay din po cia un nga lng di ko maintindihan kung ano talaga sinasabi nia,,,posible po kayang speech delay lng cia or may other reason na?good eye contact, pag tinatawag sa name di nia pinapansin but pag kinantahan ko cia ng nursery rymes at kahit na ano don sa napapanood nia ,,ang saya2 nia lumalapit pa po cia sakin at tinititigan ako,,hyper active din po cia..
Hi Bobby! Glad to have you here ✨

Signs of Screen Addiction, kasama po diyan ang speech delay and not responding to name:

At 18 months, dapat ang bata ay may around 10 words na nasasabi. Let's start dun sa babbling niya, at kung paano niyo ma-turuang maging "word."

Sanayin niyo pong ganito makipagusap sa bata PALAGI, pag mas maraming naririnig na words, lumalaki ang chance na may mapulot siyang bagong salita.

Kung walang ibang kundisyon ang bata, aasahan makikita tayo ng progress. ✨
Thank you ! This is very informative. We have many cases now. What age can we send them to a developmental Dr. OR speech patho?
Hi Lina! As early as you note any significant deviations from developmental milestones. For example: not cooing at 3 months (aahh, oooh), not babbling between 6-10 months (mamama, tata), no single meaningful words by 1 year old, etc.
Check out this video for some common patterns of development:

hello po Teacher;may pag asa pbang gumaling ang anak ko 26 yrs old napo sia.
Yung kuya po nung bata lahat po ng sign na sinabi dto is nsa kuya ko, peru nun nag 15 sya naging maayos n po sya ngayon actually nsa abroad sya regular n sya s work nya everyyear po umuwe
Napa theraphy ba sya dati? Ung kuya mo?
Hello iamj!

He spaces out so much and now I’ve noticed excessive eye blinking in the last few weeks
Regression -- explains why some of his previous skills are no longer observed:

If the child has screen/gadget exposure, go on a full detox for an experimental period of at least 2 weeks, and observe for changes or improvement in behavior.
No matter how short the time spent watching, no matter the content (whether we think it’s educational or not), if a child is already delayed or showing atypical behaviors, best to remove the factors that could be contributing to it. See explanation of the effects of screen time to baby brains here:

I hope these help you with your next steps! ✨

It will help the doctor drastically if, before your follow-up, you go on full screen detox, so we are more or less certain that it's not because of overstimnulation. Spacing out usually means they are trying to process their thoughts to much (usually from things they watch that they don't understand) that they lose touch of what's happening at the moment.
My nephew is turning 4 this September 2024 and also has same signs mentioned. He only likes fruits and milk.
