as much as i would like to go after shocks, i just cant abide the price point, especially here in canada. T_T it's like $260 per draft.

So, I’d say the reason Liliana, Teferi, and Karn didn’t get the anime treatment here is because they’ve already gotten it in WotS. That’s my guess

Near the video's end you mentioned box price was 150-160. Bottomed around 130 on TCGPlayer, now up to 150 again.
I pulled price data from MTGGoldfish and randomly sorted all of the mythics and rares to simulate a draft box with 36 pulls. (I don't believe it's truly random as some mythics/rares appear more often than others, but this approximates it.)
Box 1 would be $140. That box would include the $40 Cyclonic Rift.
Box 2 (assuming no duplication) would be $137.
If I assume duplication and randomly pick box 2 from all possible cards, it would be $180, again including a Rift.
This also assumes 0 foil rares or mythics and includes all rares/mythics regardless of price (including under $2).
If I exclude cards under $2 from box 2, the value would be $164.

Boxes just feel bad to open mostly. You never feel like you opened your moneys worth and it’s a crappy feeling.

the draft is actually really fun, but sadly the boxes are too expensive for a fun draft experience and are not good enough to crack them. The collector are way better

Gotten priced out of opening boxes, at least in the Canadian market. If I paid $270 CAD for this then I would have felt immense regret lol
The issue is either preorder product or be stuck buying from one of the major players at marked up prices, simply too risky at these prices nowadays

I have a box of Timespiral RM and Dominaria RM which I want to draft down the road with friends, but I don't see myself getting a draft box of this. With this set having shocks I'm sure draft boxes won't go down to around $100, but I wouldn't pay over $100 for one of these boxes lol

Rav remastered collectors are fun, nostalgic boxes. CMM draft gives you far more playables.
