The text:
1 - 五色令人目盲 - The five colors make one blind in the eyes
2 - 五音令人耳聾 - The five sounds make one deaf in the ears
3 - 五味令人口爽 - The five flavors make one tasteless in the mouth
4 - 馳騁畋獵令人心發狂 - Racing and hunting make one wild in the heart
5 - 難得之貨令人行妨 - Goods that are difficult to acquire make one cause damage
6 - 是以聖人為腹不為目 - Therefore the sages care for the stomach and not the eyes
7 - 故去彼取此 - That is why they discard the other and take this
