I wanted real marble for my floor to ceiling shower but couldn’t afford it. Ended up with beautiful ceramic tile that is white with the gray veining like marble. Easy to take care of and it’s beautiful.
I learned this hard lesson a few years ago too, with a small dinette table. I read online that marble is expected to scuff and look worn over the years. It gives it the authentic Italian feel. Or at least I chose to believe this when I read it online. 😂
Poultice brand has numerous stain remover products, depending on the stain you need removing. Also, if you really love that marble tile and want to keep it, i would 100% recommend you getting an anti slip epoxy sealant done professionally. Or, you could buy sheet lino in the marble pattern and cut it to a toilet mat shape, to protect the toilet area.
Or you can use pink paste and pour hydrogen peroxide on it OR you can put baking soda a little vinegarr and lots of hydrogen peroxide and these two methods work better. Just leave it to dry and clean
Real marble is so very beautiful but also very temperamental. Thanks for the advice about the cleaner. I have quite a bit of marble so I will get some and try it out
It's OK for floors and furniture and pretty much anything to look lived-in and imperfect. They have a story--your family's story. We really should normalize having quality things that don't stay flawless. Obviously, I'm not talking about being deliberately sloppy, but accidents happen and it's ok. If I were you, I absolutely wouldn't regret the choice. Your bathroom looks stunning.

Same here. I'm happy I chose ceramic
The tile you chose is usually for back splashes not floor
Who cares it's tile
Who cares? Floors get dirty faster. Any sealing also gets rubbed off faster. So more maintence? Is time not worth anything to you?
@@catladyfromky4142 look at her name... Deenique doesn't know shit
@Deenique16 selfish and lonely huh? No wonder you salty. Fix yourself before trying to talk shit about some tile 😂😂
Bathroom slippers might need to become a rule but the floor looks really nice
Oh, the slipper myth.
@@MeadowsMiniFarm Japan does it...
I doubt slippers will help when you have boys who can't aim when pissing.
The staining around the toilet is caused from urine. Slippers aren’t going to help. 😂
@@MeadowsMiniFarmMyth? What myth? The bathroom slippers I know of are the ones in Korea for wet bathrooms with a drain in the middle of the floor.
You have to re-seal it every so often
you might have a leask and wehere is the silicone around the toilet?

It does patina if you choose to see it that way. Unlacquered brass is now popular and that also ages unevenly but is considered more beautiful for it.
Or you could teach the men in your family to pee in the pot instead of on the floor
I live in a building built in 1926. I have the same bathroom floors. I love them but they are a pain to maintain.

I'm glad you found a way to remove the stains. But I'm saddened to see that you're the one dealing with this task.

It looks fine don’t obsess over a beautiful floor! I’m not marble mom either I’m more the marble 🤪 mom!!!!

Get rid of the guys in the house & you won't get these stains! Lol
What a gorgeous floor!!!!! Thanks for teaching us. I would not have known either.
Why baby wipes? I use them when I am feeling lazy, it' looked dry too. What about using the spray with bicarb in!

The floors look beautiful.
Use a rug around the toilet and in flat-rugs in heavy traffic paths.
Wow that tile is gorgeous nice choice.
Everybody needs to sit to pee! Peeing standing up has nothing to do with manhood!
I get it. That tile would be difficult for me to resist.
Real marble sounds high maintenance. Now I m going to pass using real marble on floors. 👍👍
It’s fine as long as you don’t piss on your floor. 😂😂
@@Drualeafanything will stain marble
Gorgeous floor! ❤
Soft scrub
What about baking soda and vinegar.... it works for my sister.
I had a real marble shower cubicle installed and then used hard water remover which etched away some of the marble
Looks a lot better. Which sealant did you use?
The floor would be fine if you would stop pissing on it. 😂
Seal the marple darling
Marble not Miss Marple.
What stain the grout …..sometimes it’s better to seal then grout then seal again
Where'd you buy the tile from? Gorgeous
It’s still very beautiful!!!❤
I thought the narrating voice was Brene Brown for a moment
Sure is pretty
Great looking tile.
