Extra spoils are not earned by saving the monkey. They are earned by going the driection that Hancock encourages you to take at the start. the first boss fight : Wind = IN CLOSE, WATER = CArdinal Directions for Safe Area. LIGHTNING = InterCards safe area orientation, FIRE = Out, away from Boss. In the right area - even if you crab the statue, as long as you dont BOW in front of the shrine, you can click the fence and resume paths 8 and 9 if you want to do that.
I really love the variant dungeons. The one real change I'd like to reward structure for normal mode is some type of roulette system to incentivise re-playing it with a group, since that'd be a much more pleasant way to try get the minions than spamming slow solo runs for small drop change. And savage giving something like accessories would be my way of incentivising that. Accessories don't generally need much in terms of making models for them, and having them 5 item levels above current savage would be a decent incentive without making savage gear obsolete. The mounts are enough for me to want to give the hard version a go, but not quite enough to get the pf jumping on it.

I'm so mad that I'm 99% solved the puzzle for Entry #12 by myself, but I lit the wrong lantern I lit the 3 lanterns that was all the way in towards the left of that room, so the 2 lanterns with banners and I lit the passage lantern. And I thought I wasn't done because of the phrase "celebrate the Kami of Fire", so I tried doing "/congratulate" emote to the Fox statue, to no avail lol
I mean, the Silkie had the music from its variant dungeon. It makes sense that this mount had the music from the Rokkon dungeon. It's a shame i don't like the mount because the music is lovely.
Did this solo in about 5 hr as 90 paladin but took me longer in sild as 100 warrior (I know we synced) Bruh the first variant dungeon is the hardest imo and honestly the end boss “spoiler” in this one isn’t hard at all
I managed to figure most of this out on my own solo runs (10 of 12). It was path 4 and 12 that gave me trouble. Nonetheless, this was my favorite variant dungeon so far, especially the environment.
I wanted to do this on my own this round(I just guided the last one), 1-11 was easy but 12 how was anyone suppose to figure that out? Riddle poem make no sense at all, twilight? What? At a specific time? The talk of kami fire thought they mean the ritual prayer and it mention the figure and praying to a tree, thought I had to pray to it instead of take it, also that body of water didn't help at all. Was so far off.
I did it all on my own. I actually got 12 before I got 4, 10, and 11. Hancock actually gave more hints than Nanamo did for sure. It took going in 5-6 times to figure out to do 12.

The textures on the new stuff are amazing. Makes me all the more hyped for the 7.0 graphics overhaul. Much needed.

Yes. Anything from 1-4 players. I went as dps and used the heal/shield variant actions. It is faster with more people, but just fine with only one.

Because they do these for the japanese players in mind, they don't f ing care about the rest. This is the reason why you don't get it.

So you'd have to do this solo or with friends right, otherwise people might want to do different paths than the one you want.
