      I wish I had known at 13 what I wanted to do for a good part of every day! I can't imagine anything better than helping people create beautiful outside spaces for their homes. Good luck to you.

      Try checking out Landscape Graphics by Grant Reid. It’s really helpful for drawing

    Do you have any videos in which you design on topographically difficult land? DO you have videos on public spaces?

    What does this scale mean on a plan:
    On too there are 3 numbers from 0 8 16. On the bottom of this bar it says 0 4 from left to right as on top for left to right says 0, 8, 16

    Do you often go so in depth with hand drawings? Is it easier and faster than computer?

    • @EricArneson
      @EricArneson  4 роки тому +4

      Yes, most of the time I develop the concept plan by hand. Hand drawing is faster and allows for more creativity than software.

    Why not just do all if this on a Wacom tablet? No more layering of several sheets of trace paper.

    • @EricArneson
      @EricArneson  2 роки тому +1

      I do both and think both are equally valuable. Sometimes hand drawing is faster and it is certainly more affordable.

    What technique do you use on elevation views? I’m trying to draw trees and vegetation on an elevation. Muscle memory seems to have eluded me after 40 years

    line weights?

    • @EricArneson
      @EricArneson  4 роки тому

      For my hand-rendered plans I usually only use one or 2 pens thicknesses, I save the line weight fuss for Autocad.

    I'm going to have to give you a 7/12 this is quite disappointing you make some good points and give credible information yet the access to these tools require specific circumstances but thanks either way but shall recommend
