So it _wasn't_ just me wondering where the RH and STG messengers had got to this particular time through... Eff off, Anomen! Do you _ever_ pay attention? Aran Linvail is rather straightforward and likeable, no matter what he oversees and orders in his guildhall. I suspect he has high-level contacts in Athkatla and elsewhere we know nothing about. He somehow reminds me of Prop Joe in The Wire. I always memorised at least one Friends spell before doing any shopping, to boost the Ring and Cloak, and to haggle purchase prices down. It's not like you need a bagful of other L1 spells.
Discounts max out at 20 charisma. The Ring of Human Influence kind of trivializes reaching that amount in BG2 (though I understand why the developers decided to put it in the game). It can be combined with many sources to get that last 2 points of charisma. I use Friends more often in Icewind Dale. Even with an 18 CHA character, it takes a while to obtain other means of increasing the attribute.
It appears to me that whenever you call out these so-called bugs, they manifest because you only move with your protagonist. The squire appears as soon as you bother to let your party take a step inside the doorway. This seems to be common behaviour in most Infinity Engine games.
How do the Radiant Heart behave if through the Firkraag quest they started hunting for your blood? Let's say you leave that quest unresolved. Are they still going to help you with Bodhi?
Turn undead is awesome! Great episode and am looking forward to the Bhodi fight!
BOOM!
I wonder if tinfoil hat protect from charm as well. And domination ofc.
Having to wait 4 days for this episode and didn't get to see epic Bodhi fight :
