Which Thread Goes Where?

Please, what makes the difference in using this or that? I didn't understand what happens with a sewing project by chosing the wrong one. 🤷‍♀️

Great question... it’s not so much that you’ll see a difference in the stitches as how the thread runs through the machine. If you put a cross wound spool on a vertical spool pin the thread can easily get caught under the spool and around the pin. If you put a parallel wound spool on a horizontal spool pin the thread can snag in the spool ends. Both can end in a jam or some wonky tension. That being said, if what you’re doing works for you then there’s no need to change it up!
