Whatever you feel about Anthony, he makes interesting points.
Cause he's a killer
ABSOLUTELY!!!!
A
I can’t believe that I’ve come to really respect the man. People can change
He is fairly articulate
Anthony please go on Joe Rogan, his audience desperately needs to hear this perspective.
Joe needs to hear it because he's sounding like a proper Trump supporter since his move to Texas. It's as if his dislike of the woke left has clouded his judgement. Sam Harris is no fan of wokeness but he's smart enough to be clear on Trump. I've always been happy to listen to every Rogan podcast but since the pandemic I find his rants repetitive and out of touch.
Rogans podcast audience numbers clearly show he has one of the top listened to Podcaster on the planet.
Man, I hope this happens before the election.
@jlk I don't think it's because he's been around for awhile, it's because he has the most listeners.
Yes, please go on Joe Rogan's show. 🤞
Anthony Scaramucci - a torch of truth and hope.
Who would have thought that?
Good on ya
domineu7 It’s 2020, nothing is normal.
Well said!
Probably he wrote a book and is trying to sell it.
Mooch is a lot smarter and well spoken than I gave him credit for previously.
Always knew he was smart. My only problem was his sleaze
Mainly due to the left wing media and press painting him as it, right?
Mooch is smart. In twenty-five minutes he explains the last four years. And kudos to Frontline. This show and America's Great Devide are stunningly candid displays of truth.
lol I thought the same thing
@@oliverdesvaux : lol no. He acted sleazy for all to see. However, he had to take a look at himself and didn’t like what he saw. Unless he’s a psychopath and is playing everyone. I think he, unlike Trump, actually has an intact conscience and is a better man than he was.
"I had my hair blown out like Tony Manero." 😂🤣😂🤣😂
The Mooch is a national treasure.😄
He really is.
Thomas Didymus yes: he is a such a New Yorker and he has a certain charm. Probably could sell that bridge in Brooklyn.
@@peachion2 Sooo true! Scrappy dude but very compelling.
If you can listen without pre-judging, he really is quite brilliant.
I agree, and he’s a likable guy.
@Stephen Carter id be salty too if the intent was to not only fire me in by way of humiliation but but throw me out by way of humiliation and any fool off the street would feel the same way
@Stephen Carter this is what I see... I get that he's articulate and quick here but I don't get all the effusing. It's kind of depressing. I just see ego here as opposed to level confidence. And I'm def anti trump.
I've always liked Mooch.
MOOCH? He's a solid dude.😎😷😇
The Mooch had me at "I'm a front stabber." That's someone you can trust. This a brilliant deconstruction of trump.
The problem is, he's a front and a backstabber, well Trump tho
pity he didn't stab trump
I have always been a fan of the Mooch..glad he came back to his senses by rejecting Trump! he is New Yorker, not a cult follower!
Yeah he's a New Yorker, he should have known better. Trump fired him, now we got him. POS.
Damn...this is the most well spoken description of DT I’ve ever heard. Nailed it. Thanks for being brave and sharing your story, Anthony.
Scaramucci is obviously a bright man, but also emotionally intelligent where his psychological insight on Trump is truly amazing, it makes total sense. Trump is a broken individual stemming from his awful childhood. That explains a lot.
The Mooch really does have an amazing insight into the “collective unconscious” that’s propping Trump up. I never knew he was actually this smart. I’ve only seen him in the bootlicker mode and the “Republican best friend” mode (ie pandering to liberals while still towing the line) on shows like Bill Maher. I guess he can’t really show this side in the typical mass media format where you only have a couple minutes to make your point before the subject changes.
Watch Frontline's interview with Mary Trump, Donald's niece. She's a clinical psychologist and she has some very interesting insights about the perfect storm of awfulness that was Donald's natural (shitty) personality and the way his worst impulses were further developed by his terrible father.
Does not explain the people that support him unfortunately.
Yes! He’s highly perceptive.
@@brettneuberger6466 But he totally hitched himself to Trump's wagon, and did so not only willingly, but enthusiastically, when Trump is the sort of low-class con man you can spot instantly. He still has some 'splainin' to do!
First time I actually listened to him. He does a good job analyzing a situation. I'm impressed.
Dear PBS,
Frontline is must watch television. These expanded interviews are terrific additions to the program.
I would prefer to see the complete unedited interviews of these people. It may be somewhat ‘less watchable’, but the viewer gets the opportunity to see and hear the full unredacted viewpoint. The point is fuller context in relation to the main episode, I for one would love to get that.
For More than 20 Years Frontline has been One of the BEST Documentary Series of All Time
Mouch, you are amazingly articulate.
"The president is a keyboard warrior coward" - Anthony Scaramucci
An eloquent speaker.
Excellent. Both Bolton and Scaramucci gave us Trump Naked and Understood.
My thought also. trump is a sociopath
Hard to accept our current reality.
Glad i am retired.
Richard Wolff has the economic story to round our bubble out.
Person of interest ya two dudes that egos are hurt because they both got fired and embarrassed in public badly from trump , that’s who we should trust , 2 guys emotionally hurt from him , this guys so back and fourth , if u notice he starts talking good about trump saying he has no problem him personally than it cuts out and he proceeds to bash him right after
@@anthonywhitman8475 you're deflecting. just because your and trumps ego is fragile does not mean those "two dudes" egos are fragile
@@anthonywhitman8475 he didnt look emotionally hurt when he was dissecting trump. Looked like a guy who saw his character
You are delusional, too much ego
I actually trust that guy. I don't even particularly like him, but I believe him, and believe that he will say things as they are.
@Stephen Carter - 'projecting' are we?
@Stephen Carter - You big silly, Cease and desist!
You must be talking about Anthony Scaramoucci
“Holding the Bible like a toddler’s soiled diaper!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Or his own but Mooch wouldn't say that even if it's true.
He's pretty funny.
I do disagree with one aspect here: not all New Yorkers thought Trump was "the man." Many saw him as a ridiculous figure. We rolled our eyes at "John Barron."
You're right, I can remember working downtown in '81 & the papers mocked him. New York Magazine's photog Patrick McMullan joked about the parties Trump threw. If you're not indicted, you're not invited 😂 Always chased after the real money. Begged to attend Malcom Forbes big birthday in Morocco. Lots of stuff like that.
And John Miller or something like that smh
@@samanthab1923 yeah they say his brothers was more likeable and accepted into high society than him and their father ever was, always on the outside looking in
@@samanthab1923 WOW!! I haven't heard that in 40 years!!! THANKS FOR REMEMBERING THAT LINE: "if you're not indicted you're not invited" I remember hearing that growing up. I think it was even on the front pages of the NY Post & NY Daily News. Or it least in the first pages.
Most, if not all, of us NEVER believed that Trump was "The Man"; WE did think it would be a disaster if we had him as a President. Donny's idea of getting out of the responsibility of paying bills is by filing Chapter 11.
Who knew Scaramucci was blessed with emotional intelligence and psychological insight. One of the sharpest analyses of the train wreck that is Trump's brain I've heard in a while.
He’s not blessed at all. He’s just a typical New Yorker. That doesn’t make them good or bad, blessed heck no, he help that scumbag so that title goes out the window, even if he was fired like all the others.
It's very simple: PT Barnum was right..."there's a sucker born every minute"...and in 2020, they wear red hats. Bigly.
Brilliant!
@Red Dead You're damn right we will cry, because it will be the death of America! Good on you for supporting the dictator-in-chief!
Red Dead you ‘handle’ is perfect. Red will be dead. People will burn those dumb hats and pretend they never voted for him.
Made in China of course.
I’m a Dem at heart. But lately, I am leaning more right then ever.
In Mary Trump's book, she talked about her grandfather, how to him it was of the "utmost important thing to NOT be a nice person, never be a nice person" he taught Donald trump. He learned extremely well, at a very young age, how to "not be a nice person" didn't he?
It's remarkable that in his short time in the White House, Scaramucci was portrayed by the media, and by himself to some extent, as a somewhat shallow and egotistical show pony. This interview demonstrates him to possess some valuable insight into Trump's personality and his actions in the White House. Maybe Scaramucci is merely trying to improve his standing in the eyes of future historians, but it does beg the question: if Scaramucci knew all this about Trump before taking the role of Communications Director, why did he take the job in the first place?
He comes across much more reasonable and insightful than I expected.
🦋Anthony Scaramucci, comes across as such a very kind and nice man.
Very authentic and very well spoken and knowledgeable of a wide variety of topics.
I’m glad he got away from Trump and I’m sure he is also.
He was very genuinely sympathetic to Trump, even after all the craziness.
Anthony, manifests the power of forgiveness.
I could listen to him speak, all day. I love articulation.
Blue Diamond.. His wife is gangster. She told the Mooch to pick a side and get the hell out of dodge... She was pregnant with one foot in divorce court. He was smart to listen or she was leaving his a***.
You do know that he wanted White House job 2.0 last year right? And because he didn't get it he turned on Trump. They had a spat on Twitter where Trump said that Anthony's wife was driving him crazy, are they getting a divorce? Sometimes the truth is too close to home. Go back and watch all videos/interviews on this man from 2016 until August of last year. They have a totally different viewpoint frm what he saying now.
Bluediamonds10. Ha ha ha
🙄🙄🙄🤡🤡
Mooch comes across as a big talker and loves the spot light! How could anyone label the insanity walking around in that orange body “smart”? Only someone a lot lower on the scale. Trump is a lying con man who we know from his niece was never loved.
Spot on. Trump uncovered.
@BeeBea right, like the plan to build a wall and have Mexico pay for it? Or the plan for healthcare which he said will be ready in 2 weeks, 4 months ago? Or the plan to make Covid disappear like a miracle? Or the plan to make America great again? Which of these plans got done already?
@BeeBea the farmers were tax payer subsidies we had to give them because of the tariffs with China. He fixed a problem he created and we payed for it.
The Tariffs with China failed.
I have been pleasantly surprised to learn how intellectually sophisticated Mr. Scaramucci is. His knowledge and clarity of reasoning are truly impressive. I really like him.
This guy really knows Donald Trump. Very sad...Biden's campaign needs to consult him.
lol agreed.
Brilliant idea
Great idea!

Haha!!
I neither like or dislike Anthony but he’s dead on here!
TRUE
Another good Frontline video. But there is never an excuse for what Trump did regarding the CP5 boys. I will always despise him for that.
In the interest of facts, the CP5 all individually confessed to the crime. That was public at the time. Trump knew that, too. It came out years later that those were coerced confessions but at the time he placed the ads and said what he said, all the public knew was that the CP5 all confessed.
absolutely totally agree. racist to the core
Chris Rubeo
Fact: Trump took out that full page ad calling for killing those black children BEFORE the kids even had a trial scheduled. Most of them were 14 years old and were not even allowed a parent with them during questioning etc. Trump didn’t care about those boys or the woman who was the victim. He only cared that it was an opportunity he could milk. He’s sick.
@@ChrisRubeo Don't defend what Trump did! Those boys hadn't even had a fair trial yet. And who TF was Trump to take it on himself and assume guilt???
What a disgrace!
@@joko09010 Trump took out the ad May 1. The Five all started confessing April 21. It was only much later that it was determined they were false confessions. But when those confessions were made public, that's all anyone knew, and no one had any reason to think those were five separate coerced confessions. Don't believe me? You can watch their confessions here on UA-cam.
He certainly gives the best analyses of the Trump phenomenon.
The only thing that saddens me about Don the Con is that he's disgracing the Oval Office and the American democracy.
Anthony needs his own podcast.
Well he certainly likes the sound of his own voice.
He'd be a beter president than duesh #^*&^ Trump kud ever be
The trump zombies will never see him for what he truly is.
His facade of 'Christianity' snagged them, hook, line and sinker!

Very true.
My gay coworker is pro trump. said "nobody has ever done so much for gay people than trump. Ever!" Who does that sound like to you? Sounds exactly like something trump would say.
@@observer7418
What on earth is he talking about? What has he done for homosexuals?
Trumps evangelical Christians and supreme court justices will ultimately force them back in the closet or into forced conversion therapy sessions.
This was some nice brain food from Scaramucci. Glad to have him on the right side, Dems should take notes going forward
Hair like “Tony Monero”! Have to love that kind of self-effacing honesty.
Pretty good analysis of the "Trump complex", his personality, circumstances and events.
Only Fair because Trump is "NOT" smart. He was elected based on the Evil and hateful people in this country and a Corrupt electoral College system.
27:38..Great idea ..Bring in the row of women accusers to sit in front of the debate stage facing Trump now!
Dang, I didn’t think I could listen to this entire interview, but I did and wished it were longer.
This is a remarquable interview ! Most insightful take on Trump ... thanks for putting the complete file online
If you all liked this video of the mooch. You all should watch the Oxford union interview of him. It’s free on UA-cam.
Thanks
An amazingly clear & insightful interview. Regardless how you feel about Scaramucci his intelligence & knowledge is undeniable. Watch until the end. The closer is epic.
The last ten minutes are brilliant.
For all his disclosures, Scaramucci is still a victim of the conman.
Nah: He's shown that he's intelligent enough to have known who Don was. That might make him a fool, but he isn't a victim.
@@StopWhining491 Wrong. He fell for it. He admitted he idolized him. He tried to cover it up by claiming everybody thought that way but I was in NYC in the 90s and bought a lot of self help and business books. I had NO interest in buying and Trump books. I idolized his BRAND, not him. In other words, I was attracted to his luxury hotels and golf clubs. Mooch actually bought the book that was not even written by Trump. I'd say he was a VICTIM.
Very short-lived as a "victim" -- he woke up and saw the light -- VERY UNLIKE THE MANY orange imitation koolaid drinking cult klanners who are still doing diaper donnie's bidding.
Man, you actually strike me as a intelligent and empathetic person. How the hell did you end up in that swamp?
@Lee Anderson True, but he must have passed so many red lights down that road. The first one might have been a mistake...
These are "killers" who never step foot on the battlefield.
That’s the point
One can kill more people with ink,and pawns, and politics.
Well spoken
This guy, Anthony, is so articulate.
Well done Mooch. Every American should watch this and John Bolton's interview. Frightening is an understatement.
I'm just going to come out and say this sounds horrifying, and everything we know to be true..
About what Mucch is saying about Trump ?
Seems to have a good understanding of the man and the situation
Mooch has won me over. The man is sharp.
The only person in the Trump cabinet I miss or would miss is the Mooch.
Trump is a loser through and through. Couldn't think his way out of a wet paper bag and doesn't trust anyone that can. Especially those with high levels of education and that can think clearly. Thinking is too hard work for the lazy Dumbfk.
Because they simply know more than him he won't listen or even evaluate what has been said. Mainly because he didn't say it.
@Stephen Carter You have to be about maybe 11 12 years old to believe anything you just wrote.
He didn't win the election.
Certainly is no where near being a billionaire! Wake up start paying attention to the truth. Not fantasies you prefer over reality.
@Stephen Carter - "...will win 'again' " ? He didn't "win" in 2016, ... he was 'appointed' by the E.C.
Brilliant. Love to hear him speak.
He makes some really good points and is spot on with trumps character and majority of current American public.
Just curious if you thought the same thing when he was In Love With President DJT
Thank you for posting the entire, unedited version of the interview, Frontline. This is one of the reasons your broadcasts hold so much integrity.
The more times I listen to you the more I like and admire you.
The Mooch's 'off-the-record' interview with The New Yorker was THE soundbite of 2017.
Spot on analysis. Nice job, Mooch.
Not the person to lead this nation.
No shit Einstein.
Brilliant play-by-play of what happened this year in fairness
Trump is like if the the worst of Internet comments manifested themselves as a person and became POTUS.
WOW! I couldn't have stated it more succinctly!
this is the most accurate description of Donald Trump I have ever heard
our first Troll President
@OverLord Opps sure, bot
OverLord Opps I sure hope you’re wrong, but if there’s any justice in this world he will not only lose, but will spend time in prison.
Watching this interview now after the election is over. It is amazing how spot on he is about how Trump will lose.
Scaramucci is incredibly astute. It continually amazes me because I wanted to hate him, originally.
People respect sincerity, being direct, and letting it out no bs. He is all that. He'd make a good candidate.
This guy is sharp as an obsidian knife.
@Lee Anderson it also makes super sharp knives
All I can say is Anthony clearly had a wise grandmother. "What other people think about you isn't your business." That is absolutely some Grandma dropping some knowledge on her grandkids! ♥️
BULLS/EYE. GRANDMAS ANCIENT PRACTICAL WISDOM.
Oh my God! That was by far the most descriptive, on-point, dissection of #45.
Wow! Who knew the Mouch could be so eloquent and thoughtful? 🤷♀️ I'm sincerely impressed.
VERY SMART ANALYSIS OF TRUMP!!- ONE OF THE BEST!!
This is like an excellent breakdown.
I have absolutely zero sadness for him. Roy Cohn part deaux. We're all broken in some way, doesn't excuse his behavior.
I have to agree with you on that.
THE MOOOCH!!!! WE LOVE THE MOOCH HES SO NYC ITALY its like a mob movie
Wow, that was spectacular! You nailed it, the most Dead On on view point I've heard of Trump's Character/personality so far!. Thank you

One of the most insightful interviews ive ever listened too. This man needs to run for president.
What a fascinating, insightful man. Impressive. I misjudged The Mooch!
Insightful 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Surprisingly ... and amazingly insightful interview and character analysis ... didn't care much for The Mooch ... but ... I was wrong !!!! Go Anthony !!!!
Wow... Impressive. Thank you Frontline PBS
This was a very thoughtful and honest interview. Thank you for participating in the interview as your comments were very helpful in understanding Donald Trump.
""Holding the bible like a toddlers soiled diaper" LMFAO
This analogy holds no relevance. And besides, you don't hold a diaper the way Trump was holding the Bible. If it's a smelly diaper. I guess mr. S has never changed a diaper even though he has five kids. Saya alot about him.
Scaramucci is smart and entertaining, but full of himself. Lots of duplicity in his narrative, but fun nevertheless...
He just wants to be one the big fish. He doesn't care which pond he's swimming in.
I don't see that.. it's more a NY personality trait of confidence, telling uncomfortable truths and zero fvcks given whether anyone thinks you are arrogant. I simply don't see what you are seeing.
Very very well done ! Good description and analysis.
From now on I’ll just keep looking for interviews with the Mooch. He’s brilliant!
He doesn't hesitate and is a genius at articulating his points. The Mooch rocks!
Anthony Scaramucci is a brilliant and subtle thinker. Watch his conversation on Bill Maher.
Wow, what insight! I did not know Scaramucci was so articulate. Another fantastic Frontline interview. Thank you!
Third time watching in its entirety...what an eloquent perspective...sharing...
Voting this guy in office was a huge mistake
He wasn't "voted in", he was 'appointed' by Electoral College in spite of actual public vote!
In layman's terms he's saying that the people some people were so fed up with the government they figured they put this clown in and they didn't realize how bad it could be for them when they did
perfect analysis!
A must watch interview, wow
