Well Thank YOU!! I made a trip to Northampton recently and came away with 4 new pairs of Crokett's. On seeing this vid I'm going to have to make a return visit. They are great shoes and boots and I'm proud of the British shoe industry, or what remains of it. I would urge anybody to consider spending more on a quality pair of shoes you can re-sole and watch get better with age in some cases, you'll never look back. Great Vids Thanks
Two and a half thousand pounds to spare? Everything is nice if you have lots of money to spare. But to have that sort of money to spare requires a lot of time spent in front of a computer screen on your backside using the left side of your brain.
I have allen admonds Williamsburg which are very similar to this pair. Grest build quality, strong leather and easy to dress up or down. Can't go wrong boys!
I got mine last week. They are awesome. Can see this being my goto boot in the winter.. I was as happy as you were when they arrived, and the quality is absolutely first class.
I have the Highbury and Islay’s and love them. Highbury’s for suits/trouser and shirt, Islay for chino’s/jeans. In love with the Molton’s, will use for jeans/chinos with t-shirt and Harrington jacket. Great review, thanks.
Great video review David. Love these boots! Crockett and Jones are superb shoes and offer incredible customer service. Having purchased multiple shoes from C&J over the last few years, I recently visited the Birmingham UK store on Colmore Row having gone there in my bouldering gear (tee shirt, trainers and jogging trousers ugghh!) due to various covid 19 related reasons. Yet I was treated with the utmost respect by Linda the salesperson and came away feeling great. The experience of buying shoes, or in my case in this instance shoe trees, is exceptional. Whenever I put on my C&J shoes I stand tall and feel great.
I love this whole outfit ,can't wait for the Moonraker book club it's my favourite book , absolutely loved the live and let die one, incidentally Moonraker was the book I first realized that in the books the 00 section are the letters oo the oo section in the film's they changed it to the numbers the 00 section.
Your videos seem to arrive just at the right time. Nine minutes and thirty seconds of quality British footwear. What is there not to like. Keep these videos coming David. Complete escapism. Just what the doctor ordered....
I've been a major fan of brown chukka boots for years. Love them. Also just realised I'm ahead of the curve this time, having owned some almost identical chukkas for quite a few years (Loake Pimlico, brown leather with Dainite sole, three eyelet and several suede versions).

Same - I always match my belt with shoes and if I have a leather strap watch - I match that too (or at least go silver/gold depending). Just makes things look 'put-together'
David your humor, charm and enthusiasm is a real tonic( with vodka) for a Brit expat. I just wish with all your amazing detail pics on your shoes and clothes that the definition was better. Is it HD? Would 4K be possible as the detail on the sea island cotton and rough out suede is missing in the current definition.
I recently bought similar boots like that and I’ve only worn them with khaki jeans unfortunately I don’t own a brown belt so it was a black one lol Lol But they do look far better than the brand I bought

Shame the back is not one stitched line only like the Tetbury, but I guess it adds to the waterproofing. I just picked them up from C&J in London and they are as discribed.

Love those chukka boots. I may buy a Crockett and Jones pair especially as my favourite boot brand Timberland has declined in quality.
C&J's price reflect their quality and although not cheap, I would recommend them over most other brands any day.
