Torrid super soft dresses tend to hug EVERY curve, lump, bump, and EVERYTHING ... even with the pattern, i think this dress probably looks very, very different in person.
Torrid is owned by hot topic. women are paying $60+ a dress when they can get it from Chinese warehouse sites for like $12 each. It’s probably exactly where most of them come from anyway or at least the material. Mall stores are dying for a reason. Chinese shops kinda exposed the whole “same stuff marked up price” thing.
OK, this is my bosses sign on so I am female, but let me tell you you’re so right. I bought a dress on hot topic years ago a cat dressed that had Luna and Artemis on it and then I found it on wish and I bought like every size on either size of mine just in case I had seven of these dresses total and I never wore them that I didn’t get complimented on it and oddly enough usually from a very young man. But I paid six times less on wish than I did on hot topic same exact dress minus the stamping of where it came from and by that I mean what store they were all from China.

I feel like a lot of curvier women get picked apart with their clothes exactly for this reason: wearing stuff that is obviously too small, but they take it as an attack on their obesity. Too small clothes are not flattering for ANY body type! Thanks for introducing me to this content. Most people don't notice, but even thin models wear clothing with some room in them. They look better, feel better. ALWAYS buy your clothes a tad bit larger. Plus, if it shrinks in the washer, it'll still be ok.
I like her confidence, but to me, she comes off as fake. It’s almost like she’s just using her body to get views and revenue. I’m 33 years old and probably not very good at fashion. I still dress like I did when I was in high school. Like the early 2000s jeans and hoodies with the uggs ha ha! It’s what I feel the most cozy in. I'd like to see her sit down or bend over in some of the garments she says fit well. I believe the seams (and maybe fabric) will scream their own story.
Ok, so the robin's egg colored dress was my favorite look on her. I loved the color and I thought it looked somewhat elegant on her even though she hated it. Having said that, am I the only one who consistently hates her shoes? I know these videos aren't about footwear, but come on. She's always wearing these clunky, frumpy, clog-type things that do nothing to elevate the outfits she's trying on.
After she likely snapped the seams yanking that navy blue dress this way and that and then deciding she doesn't like it, will she return it in that condition?
Salty, your videos are simply amazing! You give a perfect critique of every outfit! Unfortunately, so many of these larger girls (and I used to be one of them) don't seem to understand that there are many facets to fashion. One of those facets is to conceal flaws. You need to be honest enough with yourself to say "This part of my body would look more attractive if it were more concealed" or "If I call attention to another part of my body, it will detract from the problem areas. I simply do not understand Anna's obsession with bright gaudy colors and screaming "LOOK AT ME" with everything she wears. She needs to realize that her knees are pretty much deformed right now, and she should stick to dresses that skim her hips and thighs, and never wear anything shorter than below the knee. But she insists on those horrible skin tight body suits and short sets...all the while saying how "snatched" she is. Someone needs to "snatch" that awful clothing and talk some good old common sense into her brain. Saying something doesn't make it so.....
I think she once found a loose style top that she was able to squeeze into, and after that, She never gave up the number. Anna is the queen of delusion and would gladly believe that everything else, all other brands/styles, were cut wrong if other size 3x garments don't fit her. Her extremely delusional take on her own body is a big part of the reason that she will regain whatever weight she lost, it's sad but inevitable with her.
Some of the dresses are ok on G & L. I love a good jumpsuit perfect in summer. Would avoid the low rise items as I have a scar I don’t like showing off. Great video Salty Crab 🦀

I know what it is about that robin's egg blue dress, I just figured it out. It made her look like an adult. I don't agree with the romper dislike. I'm also a pear shaped girlie (healthy weight though) and yes sometimes I wear stuff that might be "unflattering" because they don't hide my shap. I don't like that we all collectively decided that you either have to be hourglass and wear whatever you want or you have to spend your life hiding your shape. Sometimes I just want to wear something cute don't care 😅 HOWEVER I do think it's extremely hard to find a romper that fits properly exactly because she is pear shaped. if she gets a bigger size it's probably going to be too big on top. The ones she tries on are definitely waaay too small for her bottom half so they do look bad. But she could always get a bigger size and take it to a seamstress to correct the top part. No hate at all crab, I love your chanel, these are just my thoughts ❤
I really liked that first yellow one! At least the color and cut on her. She does need a bra though. She looks great in those pastels and bright colors, just definitely needs to avoid bright deep winter colors like that kind of athletic blue color or bright ass pink.

Oh, my gosh! I thought the last green one looked like a house dress. Just no. I understand you have to feel good about your clothing, but I also loved the robin egg blue and the pink dresses. Combined with some strapped heels 👠 and she would be set for anything on the dressier side. IMO Like an afternoon wedding, brunch, or tea, etc.

She's 5'10" or 11", so they're in proportion. We can't help our foot size! I'm only 5'7" and I wear an 11 1/2. It's not easy to find cute shoes!
