Also, as I was editing this video, some multipliers for Chasca were released. It appears that changing the element of the bolt IS important for damage. And also, it seems like her multipliers are just ok, they don't look too outstanding though, but we'll have to wait for more TC work to determine her damage. In addition, I wanted to add something I missed about Ororon. I mentioned that I was concerned about the lack of buffs in his kit since he seems to be damage-focused. While this is somewhat true, as the multipliers will be important to know, Ororon CAN use 4PC Scroll, which is a great team buff. Thus, if his damage numbers are good, he could serve as a Fischl replacement in EC teams.
About the buffs, he will definitely wear the natlan support set so that is 40 % dmg for hydro and electro. He also ease the ER it seems which is also a way to buff a party.
@@Axterix13 being able to hold scroll in taser makes him a good support for those teams anyway, as well as his c6 being a straight buff he's not chevreuse but he's not emilie either
i love how some character designs looks like their elemental reaction they are dedicated to. Kuki Shinobu looks like quicken and hyperbloom with her green and purple pallette, same goes to chevreuse who looks like Overload. Emilie suits burning with her hair color and green outfit. And now with Ororon with blue and purple theme which is electro-charged
I really like both kits! Chasca looks super fun the way she adapts to elements, so she isnt just a straight up Anemo main dps. Maybe she can even be used in spread teams, when she adapts her bullets to electro dmg. Ororons kit is probably the best they could do. We just got Sethos who is a 4 star bow "main" Dps, so another wouldnt make sense. His Niche as a electro charge support with the Natlan set gives him a place besides Fischl.

15:48 he doesn't have huge buffing capabilities i think mainly cause to balance the 4pc cinder city effect. with electro charge assuming he triggers the reaction at least once every 15/20 seconds, will provide 40dmg bonus to electro and hydro for the whole team, and which can last permanently. (i just read the pinned comment, pretty much the same braincell 😂)
Chasca's gonna be the first multi-element DPS we've ever had and it's gonna be crazy fun trying to figure out how to make her work. For Ororon, I could see a comfy 4-star team of him, Fischl, Beidou and Barbara as the on-field driver. Nothing revolutionary, but any account can put that together.
the thing abt ororon right now is that hes a natlan character with off field capabilities so he has cinder citys ridiculous 40% dmg bonus built in for him. i think if his damage isnt ass (big if) he'll be a decent replacement for beidou in electro charged teams with fischl, and he may be a side grade or even upgrade support for quickbloom teams since electro charged and hyperbloom can be triggered at the same time. heck, he can even be a great hyperbloom trigger and buffer (ie replacing kuki in alhaitham teams) if hoyoverse decides to let his burst stay on field for longer than 5 seconds
I doubt Hoyoverse will release a Hyperbloom buff. That's the F2P friendly reaction to clear the abyss and I doubt they'll make that anymore easier. At best he'll be an electro charged support and his mechanics will not hit the blooms.
if Ororon can maintain Nightsoul Blessings off field means he's good already cuz he can constantly refreshHero Cinder set's full buff, that would mean he would be better than Kachina cuz with electro he can now buff Dendro teams with Cinder set
Chasca at the very least seems like a interesting spin on a Anemo Main DPS, relying on infusion damage rather than raw Anemo. That will at least make her different from Xiao and Wanderer. However, unless her multipliers are really high I can't see her being top tier like Mualani or Kinich. Probably will be a solid high tier, however. Ororon seems to essentially be a 4* Emilie: Electro-Charged instead of Burning. He also has at least some buffs. Ideally an C0 Ororon on Electro-Charged teams has similar multipliers to C0 Fischl, with his main benefit over her being AOE damage.
Ororon could have lower damage than fischl but would still be better because of the cinder city scroll artifact set and its ridiculous 40% damage bonus buff- which would last forever the way ororon's kit work and electro charged easily triggered like all the time xD
@contentenjoyer-e4m I forgot about the Cinder Set. So yes, that would mean that Ororon is more of a hybrid of Emilie and Chevreuse for electro-charged. I still think Ororon needs to roughly equivalent off-field damage to Fischl but only if the electro-charged reaction is going off. Like his damage is buffed after electro-charged but only for 2-4 seconds, so you need to constantly trigger it to keep the damage up. Then, if there is no electro-charged, his damage should be terrible (like Emilie without burning). That would keep him from totally power creeping Fishl.
@RKNancy While I do feel Chasca will be the worst 5* Natlan character released so far, among the ENTIRE cast I still think she will be above average. I think she will be between Xiao and Wanderer in terms of overall power level for as a Anemo main DPS. It depends on how easy it is to manage her multi-elemental attacks to get the desired reactions.
probably not gonna pull for chasca, but I really like how she's not direct powercreep to wanderer. like, she's not just wanderer 2, as she doesn't want faruzan. plus, it's just nice variety having a different type of anemo damage dealer.
Chasca seems interesting in that she can fit into many builds. She can use usually element restricted supports like Shenhe or Kujo Sara, and she can also be an Anemo DPS if she really wants to. I am curious to see if her bullets can melt/vaporize themselves. Even Chevreuse has a chance to be good with her at C6. While the resistance shred cannot occur as Chasca us anemo, the 60% elemental bonus from c6 applies to both electro and pyro, and chasca can use both.
I'm picturing the multi-aim to be like Chevruse pulling out a gun for her skill. Xilonen talks about making a gun for Chasca, so it should be different than her bow. She's going to be loaded with weapons. She's riding a spear, shooting her bow, and then pulling out a machine gun.
Oww that is Chasca's mechanic, so that's why she appears in Xilonen trailer because it looks like Xilonen is also buff for her the reason being Chasca also deals dmg other than Anemo. Kinda cool 👌
Oh finally, an anemo main dps who doesn't badly need C6 Faruzan! Speaking of Ororon, I feel sad for him. If they're giving him a niche reaction kit, maybe they should add some nice healing or team buffs built to him.
What? No. The fact that he's a support and DPS at the same time is a good (I'd even say great) thing. 40% Damage Bonus (C. City Buff) + Energy Funnelling to Electro and Hydro characters will bring a ton of characters back to the spotlight (Beidou, Kokomi, and Childe to name a few). Hoyo actually did very well for this design.

Interesting how they keep adding characters that buff specific reactions. It's like hoyo is trying to encourage people to try different team comp and to not play hyperbloom all the time
@@GamesArcade-uq9gmWhile true, some reactions are clearly better than others, reactions like Burning, Burgeon, Overloaded, etc. were rarely used until units like Kinich, Emilie and Chevreuse came around. Also units like most of the Geo roster besides Navia and Xilonen, Neuvillette or Lyney said screw you to reactions and prefer less reaction dependent or no reaction teams. So while the game is mainly based around reactions, some were clearly more superior and other characters don’t need them at all.
They really introduced a superior elemental reaction and were scrambling when ppl only used said reaction. They cant nerf it bcs ppl will riot. At least it forces them to use their brains to bump the rest up out of obscurity.
The game will most likely choose which element to convert to based on priority like Kazuhas Swirl does. So for example if your team is Chasca Bennet Furina and a flex, and the priority is P/H/E/C then the game would convert to a Pyro shot first then a Hydro shot.
It's better to use a healer pyro like Bennet or Hydro like Sigewinne, Barbara or Kokomi in the last slot, if Chasca is not C1 she wants 3 PHEC characters to maximize her dps.
Chasca's elemental infusion part seems to be focused on Taser archetype, since in other team archetypes it would be impossible to control reactions. However, Taser's on-fielder wants to use EM, and Chasca is a main-DPS who doesn't scale with EM (so far). I found this choice very strange. She will never be that strong in a hypercarry archetype, and she doesn't have a slot for a VV user on the team as it is. The only solution is to bait c1 + Xilonen to have shred, but Cinder will need to be on another character for greater benefit. Unless they release another shred set on Natlan (which shouldn't happen, since that's what Xilonen does). The leaked kit is very strange, it reminds me of Navia's kit proposal of using several elements + big nuke, but Navia had Zhongli to shred (and now Xilonen), but Chasca won't have synergy with Zhongli without c1 either. It seems a c1 bait char. Ororun, on the other hand, seems ok, Natlan's first electro that can be on any team to buff with Cinder City (Quicken/Chevreuse teams). He doesn't necessarily need Electrocharge, the on-field DPS being Electro would be enough. It depends a lot on the talent 2 icd, if it is no-icd like Fischl A4, electrocharge teams can be much superior to the option without, but I doubt very much that it will be 0-icd.
I would wait and pull for them because I like their character designs. Chasca scream Australian explorer and Ororon screams emo dude. He seems like he would've been better for October instead.
tl;dl: chasca is an anemo main dps. she can deal non-anemo dmg and has a gun. i get the vibe she's super not worth it without c1... ororon is an electro-charged subdps like emilie. he doesn't need all teammates to be hydro/electro so he can work with taser. he buffs er for on-field character.
Am I interpreting this wrong or is chasca kinda like that cowboy guy from overwatch, rather his ult where he has a charge up time, locks on enemies and then fires a bunch of bullets that are sure to hit?
So chasca+ororon+furina+electro/hydro healer in 1 team can work since chasca will be dealing hydro and electro damage on field. Electrocharge is reaaaallll
Two things I'd like to point out: 1. If Chasca is to follow the trend that Xilonen is starting where basically PHEC elements (Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Cryo) are enabling her support role, I wonder if Chasca has now started to ditch the trend where there's a dedicated support for element like Gorou is to Itto and Faruzan is to every existing Anemo DPS. Note: From what I understand with this game too, I think Chasca might go still Anemo DMG goblet, but the conversion to each element would have insane multipliers. Because it could also be that similar to how our current Anemo characters have a separate multiplier where when they have Infusion mechanic, there's a separate multiplier for it. So, it might work like it still deals primarily Anemo DMG but has additionally insane multipliers when it is converted. 2. Chasca also seems to have a wording similar to Navia mechanics, except, Navia only needs to gain Crystallize to basically stack up bonus dmg for her Umbrella Shotgun, Chasca might be having some charge mechanics too but she needs to enter Nightsoul through her E skill then she has similar function to Navia too.
I know he is meant to be a electro charged user, but he also seems like the perfect chevreuse overload duo due to him buffing electro dmg to an upwards of 60% at c2, which would stack with the 60% from chev c6, and then the 30% shred from her a1 + elemental goblet, with ororon being on cinder city set = very big electro dmg, so he can really just replace kujoh sara in a raiden team (I don’t have raiden, but i’m hoping to replace kujoh sara with ororon in a chev, xiangling, and cyno team).
It is either A.) A translation error, or B.) They left out the specifications, but with him being a reaction support, I’d assume they mean for him to buff electro teamwide, since he’s not supposed to be a dps for him to only buff himself.
Dude you literally didn't mention Ororun's synergy with Chasca. He restores energy, does off-field damage, and at C6 gives an attack buff. All of those would be great for a C1 Chasca Electro charged team. Maybe -- Chasca , Xilonen, Furina, Ororun. Though I will admit in order to get the best out of this team you'd need some high investment for sure but it seems like it'd do well. Chasca C1, Furina C2, Xilonen, C2, Ororun C6... Ow, my pockets!
If she did plain anemo damage, I would have pulled her over Xilonen to finally put my idle Faruzan to use. But no, she's got this weird element change mechanism when it DPS.
Looking at this, Chasca's C1 just frees up 1 non-swirlable party slot. Idk how her team building will work or if Faruzan will still be BiS with how her kit works. Maybe a res shred like Xilonen instead? But her buffers are looking scuffed without C1.
the thing i wonder abut chaska from the kit is her plunge atk doing rapid hits aoe damage before the plunge. the big question would be how busted Xianyun would be with her. chaska double hyrdo plunge?
I assume not atk% goblet she prolly has EM scaling like sethos since she does rely on swirl kinda and sethos proly was a test character for her to same way heizou was before wanderer.
Seems like you need C6 for Ororon's kit feel complete, hate this trend because chasing 4 stars can be worse than 5 stars sometimes, hoyo added so much qol between 4.0 and 5.0 but a 4 stars epitomized path or something similar is long overdue, just adding more than the 1.0 4 stars to the shop would be a good move tbh
The only true tall male sub dps is Kaeya. For short males, it's Xingqiu and Albedo, all of them from 1.x ver bc hoyo is way too obsessed with onfield male DPS @@TonyFlopped
i hope they rework his kit to have electro and hydro res shred like chevruse otherwise he will be useless, the only good electrochargeteams are with succrose as a driver and he doesn´t work with anemo driver, so he needs to have atleast the VV res shred in his kit. WHy didn´t they just make him electrocharge succrose, heal and buffs would have been perfect.
Ohh okay so Ororons an Off field DPS that uses Taser not a Taser support like people are saying. That's okay I guess I'll take it. Might be a fun new playstyle but not Chevy level of gamebreaking.
I'm also thinking about playing her on an electro charged team, from what I saw of her kit and Ororon's, the best electro charged team for her will probably be: Chasca/Furina/Sigewinne/Ororon.
you might be able to use charlotte/bennet (idk for bennet depends on the stat she uses). You can still get electrocharged and might get vapes for Chasca

Basically Wanderer, but instead of NA focused, she is CA focused She can still do Anemo-infused NA, but like Wanderer, not their main thing.. TLDR: - Chasca = CA > Burst > NA - Wanderer = NA > Burst > CA The only thing chasca has different is that she actually use the elements she absorb from the team into her attacks.. While wanderer only affect his passive..
Me chaska, teamwork makes the dream work, me shoot several pew pew, some pew pew have elements of friend, pew pew and all elements swirl (probably), not enough info about how the infusions will interact yet.

Tbh I think chasca's kit sucks. Like.. girl.. what, you are just firing off your own elemental reactions now? Make your own Melt? Make your own Vaporize? And if the numbers reach Mualani levels she'd be broken. But if they don't, she'd be doodoo. And if they do reach Mualani/Neuvilette Levels, what does that do to every other DPS character before and after her?

He doesn't seem to be super locked in EC teams too, unlike Kinich's need for burn/burgeon teams.

Also units like most of the Geo roster besides Navia and Xilonen, Neuvillette or Lyney said screw you to reactions and prefer less reaction dependent or no reaction teams. So while the game is mainly based around reactions, some were clearly more superior and other characters don’t need them at all.

The game will most likely choose which element to convert to based on priority like Kazuhas Swirl does. So for example if your team is Chasca Bennet Furina and a flex, and the priority is P/H/E/C then the game would convert to a Pyro shot first then a Hydro shot.
If mavuika is a pyro sub dps then my chasca team would be chasca, furina, mavuika then jean for healing, vv shred, and anemo resonance
It's better to use a healer pyro like Bennet or Hydro like Sigewinne, Barbara or Kokomi in the last slot, if Chasca is not C1 she wants 3 PHEC characters to maximize her dps.
Chasca's elemental infusion part seems to be focused on Taser archetype, since in other team archetypes it would be impossible to control reactions. However, Taser's on-fielder wants to use EM, and Chasca is a main-DPS who doesn't scale with EM (so far). I found this choice very strange. She will never be that strong in a hypercarry archetype, and she doesn't have a slot for a VV user on the team as it is. The only solution is to bait c1 + Xilonen to have shred, but Cinder will need to be on another character for greater benefit. Unless they release another shred set on Natlan (which shouldn't happen, since that's what Xilonen does). The leaked kit is very strange, it reminds me of Navia's kit proposal of using several elements + big nuke, but Navia had Zhongli to shred (and now Xilonen), but Chasca won't have synergy with Zhongli without c1 either. It seems a c1 bait char.
Ororun, on the other hand, seems ok, Natlan's first electro that can be on any team to buff with Cinder City (Quicken/Chevreuse teams). He doesn't necessarily need Electrocharge, the on-field DPS being Electro would be enough. It depends a lot on the talent 2 icd, if it is no-icd like Fischl A4, electrocharge teams can be much superior to the option without, but I doubt very much that it will be 0-icd.

Two things I'd like to point out:
1. If Chasca is to follow the trend that Xilonen is starting where basically PHEC elements (Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Cryo) are enabling her support role, I wonder if Chasca has now started to ditch the trend where there's a dedicated support for element like Gorou is to Itto and Faruzan is to every existing Anemo DPS.
Note: From what I understand with this game too, I think Chasca might go still Anemo DMG goblet, but the conversion to each element would have insane multipliers. Because it could also be that similar to how our current Anemo characters have a separate multiplier where when they have Infusion mechanic, there's a separate multiplier for it. So, it might work like it still deals primarily Anemo DMG but has additionally insane multipliers when it is converted.
2. Chasca also seems to have a wording similar to Navia mechanics, except, Navia only needs to gain Crystallize to basically stack up bonus dmg for her Umbrella Shotgun, Chasca might be having some charge mechanics too but she needs to enter Nightsoul through her E skill then she has similar function to Navia too.
convertion multipliers are 2~3x the anemo ones, based on our current leaks
I don't care for Chasca so I hope Ororon will be on a banner I'm willing to pull on. He seems like he'd be fun for my Ayato Beidou tazer team.

Interesting Chasca kit but too early to confirm. Ororon's kit is slightly restrictive but not too much which is good for flexible teams
I know he is meant to be a electro charged user, but he also seems like the perfect chevreuse overload duo due to him buffing electro dmg to an upwards of 60% at c2, which would stack with the 60% from chev c6, and then the 30% shred from her a1 + elemental goblet, with ororon being on cinder city set = very big electro dmg, so he can really just replace kujoh sara in a raiden team (I don’t have raiden, but i’m hoping to replace kujoh sara with ororon in a chev, xiangling, and cyno team).
he only buffs his own electro dmg not the party
It is either A.) A translation error, or B.) They left out the specifications, but with him being a reaction support, I’d assume they mean for him to buff electro teamwide, since he’s not supposed to be a dps for him to only buff himself.

Dude you literally didn't mention Ororun's synergy with Chasca. He restores energy, does off-field damage, and at C6 gives an attack buff. All of those would be great for a C1 Chasca Electro charged team. Maybe -- Chasca , Xilonen, Furina, Ororun. Though I will admit in order to get the best out of this team you'd need some high investment for sure but it seems like it'd do well. Chasca C1, Furina C2, Xilonen, C2, Ororun C6... Ow, my pockets!
If she did plain anemo damage, I would have pulled her over Xilonen to finally put my idle Faruzan to use. But no, she's got this weird element change mechanism when it DPS.
Looking at this, Chasca's C1 just frees up 1 non-swirlable party slot. Idk how her team building will work or if Faruzan will still be BiS with how her kit works. Maybe a res shred like Xilonen instead? But her buffers are looking scuffed without C1.

Yeah but sadly, unless she deal 1250% dmg like kinich, she aint powercreep both. Yoimiya can overload once every 1.5 secs while ganyu can melt.

Seems like you need C6 for Ororon's kit feel complete, hate this trend because chasing 4 stars can be worse than 5 stars sometimes, hoyo added so much qol between 4.0 and 5.0 but a 4 stars epitomized path or something similar is long overdue, just adding more than the 1.0 4 stars to the shop would be a good move tbh

i hope they rework his kit to have electro and hydro res shred like chevruse otherwise he will be useless, the only good electrochargeteams are with succrose as a driver and he doesn´t work with anemo driver, so he needs to have atleast the VV res shred in his kit. WHy didn´t they just make him electrocharge succrose, heal and buffs would have been perfect.

you might be able to use charlotte/bennet (idk for bennet depends on the stat she uses). You can still get electrocharged and might get vapes for Chasca

She can still do Anemo-infused NA, but like Wanderer, not their main thing..
TLDR:
- Chasca = CA > Burst > NA
- Wanderer = NA > Burst > CA
The only thing chasca has different is that she actually use the elements she absorb from the team into her attacks.. While wanderer only affect his passive..
