Hiking to Mt Fitz Roy in Argentina in January VS in October

When is the best time to hike to Mt Fitz Roy in Patagonia?
Well, in summer you almost guaranteed to see the majestic views of the mountain peaks, but you will have to deal with the crowds and high prices on accommodation and food. On the other hand, hiking off-season might be as beautiful if you are lucky with the weather, but way cheaper. As you see I wasn't lucky with the sun but definitely enjoyed the solitude in the mountains.
