Love to all x - Навчання та стиль
The pink one was one of the first toners I used. It was massive and lasted ages. Although I did not notice any brightening, I liked that it was really hydrating.
did it helped in getting glass skin ????
@@khushinaaz6651 nope
Same! I purchased the one to lighten but the hydration was so good I kept using.
The high moist pink one is my holy grail for my body. I use it straight out the shower on damp skin and it's amazing. I also have it in one of those hand soap foam bottles. I actually enjoy the scent.
oooh that would be interesting
I just love how cute the packaging is🥺
The pink bottle got me too. 😂
Yes!💫
The high moist pink bottle is my HG morning toner. It preps my skin before applying my serum, sunscreen then make-up. It is little bit tacky at first but it dries down to a smooth dewy finish. But then, I have mature, dry as desert, flaky skin. It has really helped my skin a lot. Has a funky smell but I got used to it. Will continue to repurchase. ❤️
I usually use Korean brands but lately I've been using Japanese skincare. I just bought these and I LOVE them. I also love your channel!!
The new bright moist does not have alcohol. Only the discontinued version contains alcohol. Phenoxyethanol is a preservative which is used in very small amount probably 1% of the formulation.
I use the high moist kikumasamune as a body toner as well! It’s especially great for after epilating your legs!
I use the pink high moisture. It’s a holy grail for me. It doesn’t leave my skin sticky. It has my skin super moist and hydrated. I also use it in my hair. The sake scent doesn’t bother me and it does not linger. I use it twice a day. I’m on my third bottle. Thank you for this review.
How do you use it in your hair i'm so curious!!
Your skin type?
How does the effect in your hair?
This is such a useful video! Love how you go into ingredient and texture differences. An updated version including the glossy moist would be super appreciated ;;
Thank you for mentioning that this might not be okay for sensitive skin! I bought this and it was AWFUL for me! I broke out all over and my skin got SO red and itchy 😭 The bottles are super cute though.
I am so sorry to hear 😭 but yeah no, I know it's not for everyone 😬
You could be allergic to the ferments in it.
I'm allergic to ferments, and a lot of Japanese toners use natural ferments in the ingredients😥. It was nice at first but the ferments in combination w the arbutin irritated my skin so much. I use it on my body from time to time and I can tolerate it though. Some Hadalabo lotions did not irritate my ferment sensitive skin though.
Hello Tina, greetings from Mexico, I bought the high moist version on ebay thinking it was a body lotion, but when it arrived and I saw it so watery I realized that lotion means in Japan the same thing that in Mexico they used to be called colognes (softer version of parfum), anyway, I started using it and I fell in love, now my beauty routine is not complete if I don't use it, immediately after taking a bath and before getting out of the shower I apply it to my face, neck, chest and shoulders 😀
I love your videos, thank you so much for all the info.
Hola! Yo también soy de México, notaste algún cambio notable al usar el tónico en tu cuerpo? Lo he visto en Amazon y he pensado en tal vez comprarlo
Dry/resilient/anti-aging here. I love the white bottle (aka Bright Moist). Use on my body, and scalp post bath as well. Not too sticky for me. One of my holy grails. 👑 ❤️
Curious of the benefits for scalp! Does it help with hair growth due to castor oil?
Yesssss. I kinda wanna buy this for my body, and will surely go for the white one. Thanks, Tina!
I wanted to love Kikumasamune so much after hearing such wonderful things about it on Reditt but it just didn’t work for me. I was fine with the smell but I couldn’t handle how sticky it was. I only tried the pink one so maybe the white one is better, but didn’t even want to take a chance with it because I really hate sticky things on my skin. I couldn’t even use it as a body toner because my long hair kept sticking to it. Nope...not for me.
The Kiku did lead me on a quest for another Japanese rice toner, however, and I found one of my holy grails...Mebika, which I absolutely adore! It has a very faint smell and I’m not even certain that they add additional fragrance to the ingredients. It contains rice ingredients in a number of varieties including fermented rice and a bit of rice bran oil and IIRC it also contains ceramides. It’s SUPER hydrating...my skin soaks it in like no other toner, but it dries to a light, natural moist finish without one bit of stickiness! It’s a bit more expensive than Kiku but still very reasonable and also comes in a very large bottle that works great in a smaller fine mist bottle.
I like to use it in this order: cleanse or double cleanse - first treatment essence - an active (except for tretinoin) - Mebika - (a bit of Hada Labo Premium Lotion added if I need extra hydration) - niacinamide serum - Hadauru Infusion Toner (another holy grail, soy based with ceramides etc & either Balancing or Moist depending on the season) - Hadauru Serum (around eyes & mouth) - Hadauru Emulsion (day) or Cream (night). On nights when I use tretinoin I use the same order but apply all the skins of toner, let them dry, apply tretinoin & allow it to settle, then finish with the Hadauru Serum & Cream. If my skin is drier from winter heat or wind, AC, or from tretinoin I will mist my face with Mebika again, wait a couple of minutes, and then apply the tretinoin and finish my night routine. This combination keeps away any irritation and peeling from tretinoin & has greatly improved the plumpness, hydration, brightness, elasticity, smoothness, and overall health of my skin.
In addition to tretinoin 3x/week I also use chemical exfoliants a couple of times a week, and alternate vitamin C & a peptide serum every morning. I’m using two actives almost every day and my skin barrier is intact and remains healthy.
The ONLY problem with Mebika is availability but I can almost always find it on Amazon Japan, EBay or occasionally YesStyle. I used to be able to get all my Japanese skincare from Kirei-Station but they closed down since the pandemic began. RIP 🙏🏻
The Mebika toner sounds amazing!
I definitely haven't come by it but will keep my eyes open 😗
and it sounds like you've got your routine down pat 👏👏
Omg thank you for this detailed explanation!
Can you an updated foundation routine? Your makeup looks so glowy and beautiful!
I'll try! I don't really have a regular routine since I always change makeup but will keep it in mind ❤️
I have been using the pink bottles for about 2 years or more, and had NO idea that it was a sake toner‼️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love Japanese skin care and purchased it on Amazon, per the excellent recommendations. I shy away from denated alcohol and had no idea that this product contains it. I have had nothing but a good experience with it and am on my third bottle‼️ I actually use it like an essence, after my toner. Thank you for explaining what I have as a staple in my daily skin care routine‼️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I read on Reddit that some people use the pink one in their hair and swear by it. Anyone else use Kikumasamune in their hair after shampooing? What did it do for your hair? Thanks 🌸
Yes. Focus on scalp and gently massage and it naturally runs thru strands. So nice.
you're becoming my second favourite skincare youtuber INCREDIBLY FAST! I discovered you just yesterday lol
i'm glad to hear i'm not the only one who puts it on their whole body- i feel like that bottle is always at small town onsens/bathhouses here in japan, and i'm always like "Well...its free, so i'm putting it everywhere."
OMG, takes me back 😭 so true they have it at onsens all the time haha
I always wanted to try this brand! My God! I need some japanese skincare and makeup to try!
I have used the kikumasamune bright moist too, its an ok toner, I also have the old version I might try new version.
I recycle all my Muji Trigger spray from one bottle to the next. 🤗
Love this lotion 💗 I have used the pink bottle, and it worked great for my skin. I will definitely purchase the clear bottle as well. Thanks for all the info! I can always count on your channel for J-beauty reviews in ENGLISH 🤗😙
Awesome! Please do a video on Naturie Hatomugi products ❤️❤️❤️
Thnks for this review, hope the pink one solves my retinol reaction. The retinol makes my skin acne prone cystic and itchy. Ugghh.
Almost done with 2nd bottle of the high moist variant (new formulation). It works well for me since I only need one layer of it. It doesn't sting, majority of products do sting on my face since I am using tretinoin. It also has ceramides than can help my skin barrier.
Ooo that's so good to know! I'll have to check out the new formulation 😆
Hello where can I read the new ingredients?
Loving the spray top idea! ❤️❤️❤️
I wanted to try the white one but I'm not sure if it's any good. Now I know. Thank you Tina!
I adore the pink one!!! It makes my skin soooooo moist and bouncy🥰 I just don’t like the smell I have to hold my breath every time I use it hahahah to me it smells like warm trash but it goes away after a few seconds
FINALLY!!!!! ive seen ur hamtorugi one and i was stalking u to see if u have a review of this one and u had none BUT NOW !!! thank u sm 🧡
hehehe 🙈🙈
Thank you for this! I've been using the high moist for a month or two and I love it. I decant it into empty dropper bottles because of the enthusiastic pump head haha. Can't wait to try the normal one and/or the skin conditioner though, no one talks about them So thank you!
Okay but the thumbnail is so cute!! 💖
my face is so round haha 🙈🙈🙈
It's funny because I just picked this up randomly from the store and then I see you have a review ! Perfect timing .I tried the naturie one but I was hoping this one would be more hydrating. Maybe one day you can do a video comparing the hadalabo lotion/ toners.
How much did you pay for it in the store? Just trying to compare online prices.
I have all 3! My favorite so far is the white and red bottles. But I bought the white recently and I am loving it. The pink one is too sticky and I feel the white one better absorbs into my face. It gives me this fresh and cool effect. It must be because of my airconditioner blowing cold air, but regardless I love the feeling when it absorbs on my face. I also kind of like it a lot more than the hatomugi. The red is great before applying my liquid foundation and I use very light of it and just light of my liquid foundation. It leaves like a slight glossy finish on my face. :)
I tried both and I agree the pink one is greasy and I don't feel like it hydrates my skin deep enough but I can't put on more layers because it just becomes greasy everywhere. So to finish the one I have right now, I had to mix it with a little bit of mineral water to make it less greasy. The "bright" version is my favourite, but it's so hard to find online
:((. So I decided to buy Naturie since it was the one readily available on amazon in UK and Italy, though I find it a very simple product compared to Kikumasamune :/
Finally! I've been waiting for this 😻
I love this toner, white or pink whatever. I mix it with my TO Vitamin C powder 2x a day and the mixture made my skin bright, hydrated and so smooth. I want to try the Glossy Moist too, I need that glossy look on me (even though my skin is already glossy due to my skincare products)
How do you mix the TO vit C powder? Do you pour it all inside the toner bottle?
Ugh WHY do I want to try the other one now, knowing how awful the pink one was to my face 😅😅😅😂😂 also you look glowy AF, so gorgeous
girl don't do it to yourself 😂 I get it though, I've re-tried products I've hated in the past...
Phenoxyethanol is a preservative and Denatured alcohol is most often used to aid in the dry down time of a product. Plus DN alcohol is very drying and can really irritate already damaged, dehydrated, and/or sensitive skin. Phenoxyethanol is one of the most widely used preservatives in the skincare industry, there is a ton of info readily available about the pro's and cons of both ingredients. Always look at the first five ingredients, if one of them is DN alcohol..........it means there is a lot of it and it could potentially be very irritating to the skin. I really want to try this product tho, i'v heard amazing things about it and your video makes me want it even more :)
I did see the top 5 ingredient rule somewhere! haha luckily DN was definitely not the top 5 😬
Your videos are so relaxing
I remember using this before. Because it was not exactly the most moisturizing but was so affordable, I always kept a bit of it inside a small 100ml spray bottle and used it as a face and body mist, especially on my hands. The moisturizing effect was just.....meh....so I wonder if it is because of the alcohol content.
I actually prefer the pink bottle than the white, I love how it feels on my skin. I find myself reaching for this than the hatomugi one. But does it really brighten skin?
Thank you this was really helpful! Super hard to distinguish the difference online from the website I saw these products on 🙃
Yeeeessssss Tiiinnnaaa!! I’ve been waiting for this one ❤️
I love Japanese packaging so much! 😊💕
I like the regular one its cute and since i have sunburns Im gonna buy it together with naturie hatomugi toner
I have the pink high moist. I felt the exact same way! It’s a bit sticky and I’m not crazy about it, but I love saké so I continue using it. Love your idea for using it as a body moisturizer. Going to use it that way from now on. Thank you!
Yes I have sensitive face skin and the high moist burned and made me itchy, so I have finished the huge bottle on my body and it works well there! Wanted to love it so much for the face, but my skin didn't appreciated :S
I'm glad it at least worked on your body and it didn't go to complete waste!
You should try Kikumasamune Skincare Essence. It’s very moisturizing. If fragrance doesn’t bother you, it’s a really good product.
oooo I'll have to give it a go it sounds amazing!
How do you use it? Do you use it after the high moist?
KHADIJAH JACKSON Yes. I use it after my “lotion” since it has a thicker consistency. It can be a little tacky though. A little goes a long way. :)
@@foxyturvey yep that’s where I used it too. I found out that a little goes a long way after I used it. I was one sticky mess but I’ll take that over dry and crusty any day! Thanks for sharing!
I ordered 2 bottles of this and the suhada shizuku lotion you mentioned because of you❤ and it just arrived. Can't believe it took only 5 days to arrive
Damn that's such good shipping time! Where did you buy from??
@@TinaTanakaHarris I ordered from Amazon Japan. Was kinda scared haha but then I decided to try it out after reading many reddit reviews. The shipping was kinda pricy BUT it's still completely worth it and I would have paid a lot more money if I ordered it from my local amazon or other online shops. The best part is that you pay a "tax deposit" in advance so there's no need to stress out about that and you don't have to do anything at all.
I want your lashes!! Are those falsies? or natural? 😍
I freaking love your skin and I love Japanese products since they ban harmful chemical in skin care so I love it.
How do I find the expiration date on this product as it is written in Japanese. Thank you for your help.
I have never clicked so fast on a new video before
Oooo thanks for sharing, will def check these out
Could you do a hatomugi naturie skin gel review? Can't wait 🌼🌻🌼🌻🌼
Thank you for adding Australian site where to purchase. 🙏🤗
Would you prefer this product or the HaruHaru Brown Rice Toner?...I'm thinking the sake in this product is a big plus. I have skin on the dry side.
Can you please tell us what products you’ve used for this makeup look you have in this video ? You’re glowing
Which one do you prefer for brightening the skin?
hey!! i was wondering if you could please do a video on your favorite japanese retinol serums or masks for acne scars and anti aging (wrinkles)? btw i really love ur videos!
thankyou ❤️ honestly retinol is not very common is Japanese skincare and I personally haven't tried any! Although I have been wanting to try out more retinol products lately so I will definitely do a little research 😊
Tina Tanaka Harris thank u!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Could u do a video on Japanese hair care?
I discovered these a while ago and if you read about them they are fantastic
Kikumasamune skin brightening lotion or hatomugi skin conditioner lotion... Which one you prefer for brightening, moisturizing, plumpy skin?plz plz reply..I am from Bangladesh 😊
I will purchase this once I finish
my naturie lotion 😃
Yes I always feel so sticky after using the high moist!!
I have been dying to try this lotion, tina have you tried the emulsion?
I haven't! i really want to though because i love emulsions 🙈
The Emulsion is to die for. Way better than the Lotion
Hi! Have you seen any brightening effects from the toner? Thanks!
Not particularly, although I do always think it is hard to tell with brightening since it usually takes a long time to show results 🤔 I usually just use it and hope for the best 😂😂
Hey! Can you do a jewlery collection video? That would be awesome!
I don't think I have enough jewellery to do a collection video 😂😂😂
bestie. that’s weird.
How does the kikimasamune compare to hada labo premium ? Which is more hydrating
New subscriber 🙋♀️ Love your skin!! ✨
Welcome! and thank you 💖
good to know, I wanted to buy both but now i will only get the pruple one
Loving this products and have been using for the past year. Such a great idea to use time moist for your body. Can you give the the link to where I can get that spray trigger? Or will any size match? is it standard?
The trigger was from MUJI, and yeah there is only one size! Kind of just luck that it fit this bottle haha
@@TinaTanakaHarris thanks!
do I need to use a moisturizer after using these?
Can u use the white toner in morning and night?
I love the smell but the pink made my face burn.... but i also think my skin barrier was down at the time... im going to try the white one this time and see.
it's so hard to tell a product's effectiveness when your skin barrier is down 😬 I have many times where I hated a product because my skin was unstable at the time of 1st use and ended up loving it later on!
Thank you for the review
How would you compare these two to the Shirojyun Premium line in terms of hydration and brightening?
I do prefer the Hada Labo one personally - I find it more gentle and hydrating. I terms of brightening this is such a hard thing to measure since it takes a long time for a toner to have brightening effects and also depends on the state if your skin at the time so I can't say for sure on that one!
This is my favorite to use
How about the red color?
do you need to use sunscreen if u use white on over your body.. since it contains retinol palmitate
This is an old video but hopefully @Tina will see this. For those ethically against horse placenta is there an alternative to Kikumasamune that performs the same ?! Thanks.
Can you pls make a review for Cezanne Skin Conditioner High Moist? I don't see any reviews in YT
me too, i bought it but didnt open it yet. maybe if tina makes a review
+1 to this. I’m thinking which of the 3 I should get for my body. Cezanne doesn’t have alcohol from what I’ve heard
Is this an exfoliating toner as well?
Great video
Mam i from Bangladesh i have oily combination skin but dehydrated have acne can i use it on my face the pink one?
is cezanne completely vegan friendly? are all ingredients plant derived?
I want to try it but its so biggg. I dont want to waste money and product if i dont like it
Update: I bought it several months ago lol. Its good and hydrating. Might not continue using it for face but instead for my body and hair.
I'm actually using it rn but idk if I should continue. I've been having a few breakouts but I don't know if it's the culprit because I've been eating a lot of dairy + sleeping late, and it also might be hormonal..I'm probably gonna discontinue use for a while to know..
I'd say you're right in staying away from it now. Whether it is the skincare or environmental changes it is best to stick with what you know works when your skin isn't 100%!
can you use it as a conditioner like the naturie conditioner?
My first Japanese purchase the pink one, I'll know better and purchasethe white one...would you recommend I use it toner once or twice a day?
twice a day!
The fragrance was too much for me and it did cause a reaction on my face. But now using it on my legs and they are soft
What is the different between this product and hatomugi skin conditioner??? How to apply these two products? I mean the step :(
What do you use for your legs?
I need the spray top
Can it be used after Retina A?
I have a question!! It says that I should put these facial lotions on my skinn before the masks BUT everybody that use it uses sheet masks. I use masks that nees to be washed off (liike clay masks or treatment masks) and then I am confused as in should I put the lotion after the mask. Because if I use it before I will wash it off with my mask?
They are talking about SHEET MASKS, with sheet mask you are supossed to apply toner and then the sheet mask because you dont wash your face after using sheet mask but any other type of mask needs to be washed so you dont put toner or lotion before using it
@@lily-wg9zv so do I just put it after the washable mask or do I just not put it at all that day?
@@alma_5 put it after you wash the mask off
@@lily-wg9zv okay thank youu!♡
@@alma_5 your welcome 💗
Pls reply is,this,a lotion of body this pink
Wait so is the white bottle emulsion? Or the light pink one? Btw there's 3 different types 🌸
Both of these are toners:
Pink bottle - high moist
White bottle - regular moisture
I have not mentioned the emulsion in this video nor do I own it - but I think it is in a opaque bottle.
I believe there are only 2 toners though - unless they changed/updated it since I last purchased it!
@@TinaTanakaHarris oh ok, good to know thanks for the feedback
💖🌸💖🌸💖🌸
What toners do you reach out for when your skin barrier is compromised?
the make p:rem low irritant toner, i'm from mugwort essence, rovectin treatment lotion are all nice and gentle 😊
Goodness what foundation/blush combo are you wearing? Its stunning!
pretty sure I had on the moonshot glassy fit cushion with rom&nd better than cheek blush! and thankyou 💖
