Surely Terry is an ellipsoid and the most cautious approach is to assume the third axis is the same as the smaller dimension? V=4/3πabc (abc are the radii ie half the diameters) The volumes are therefore: CT scan 594 cubic cm PET scan 721 cubic cm After chemo 142.5 cubic cm Reduction is therefore 76% from the CT & 80% from the PET. Sounds like good news to me?!
