its funny how you mentioned how the shiny galarian birds wont run away unless your game closes because ive had something similar happen to me. for an entire month i was trying to encounter a galarian bird and when i found one (non shiny)…… MY GAME CRASHED and it ran away before i could throw a ball. i havent used my adventure incense since

I hate to say that it will run anyway 99%, so it kinds of doesn't matter. I have heard many reports of shiny birds running away (speed lock, game crash, go plus +, etc) and that could be really devastating. I have caught shiny galarian zapdos and my wife got shiny galarian moltres, if you walk every day with daily incense and you will get one eventually.
