What an absolutely fabulous suit! It “fell” on you, no adjustment, no shrugging into it, a true reflection of superb craftsmanship. I get excited when I see a notification that there’s a new episode from you, thank you Kirby.
Final fittings never get old. One day I'll finally have one on the premises rather than at a trunk show... A pilgrimage to The Row should be on every man's list of things to do in life.
Thank you Kirby for producing this excellent, insightful series...it is super to know such heritage, traditions and history are still surviving...from a proud English man and Proud Brit 🇬🇧
I am 14 and i have always been intrgud by a more gentlemanly way of life. When I graduate with my master's at 23 I hope to move to the UK to pastor a historic Congregational Church, at that stage of my life I hope to live some what like this while still being there for my church.
This is such a fascinating series. I’ve only discovered your videos a month ago but it’s a window into a world I was only passively aware of previously!
Kirby, watching this has really introduced to me a wonderful understanding of such superb tailoring I'd otherwise have never knew existed. Talk about craftsmanship! Henry Poole and all their staff are nothing short of spectacular in what they have made with their skill. Absolutely amazing. Your work here has also been absolutely amazing. Your camera work, editing, detail, and production have been absolutely fantastic!!! So good I could kiss ya!!!!!! But a gentlemanly handshake shall suffice. Well done Sir!!! Much appreciation from a UK viewer.
That is a beautiful suit, I cannot wait to see the final day on the hill with those gorgeous classic Purdy side-by-sides. Cannot wait to see what footwear you choose to go with either. When we shoot I often go for some plus twos or a kilt, and Le Chameau or Lowa boots.
Man imagine how amazing this would have been if they covered all the suit stuff in just 3 episodes and then spent the rest on guns and shooting. Would have been epic!
Love your videos , great work, an idea for next year, Goodwood revival meeting, you can become a gentleman racer, the right clothing the right car and the right event ??.
Funny you mention it! We will actually be filming next month at Goodwood! We’ve been invited by the Duke and have some really, really exciting things lined up…
Hey Kirby. Brilliant series and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I just wanted to say if you wanted to do an episode on fine English guns or vintage guns you should go to Holts Auctioneers in Norfolk and speak to Simon Reinhold who is a true shotgun connoisseur. Check out some episodes of TGS Outdoors as he often collaborates with them.
so, did you actually buy the brace of guns or do they have a rental thing? it seems an extortionate amount to give out for something you're not using often, and i dont know how easily they can be taken back and forth to the USA
When you are in Scottland, with a Purdey and Henry Poole hunting suit, you better not miss. 😁 Have you been getting a lot of practice in with your new guns Kirby?
Hi Kirby, you live in Dallas don't you? Do you have some decent recommendations for shops in the city? I'm needing a new suit, the gym has had me outgrow my old ones. Dallas is relatively near to me and I need to get a new suit made for work. I would like to keep the quality and price rather moderate, but as I workout a lot fit is very important . Usually I'd buy bespoke but I don't have time for that so I'm instead looking for somewhere I can buy a suit around 600 to 800 dollars a little oversized and have it taken in to fit. I want to leave some material so they can let it out as I get more jacked. Need it a bit urgently for work.
I would recommend Dvidji tailoring. Kirby started his journey there. Look at his Bespoke 2022 cost video. They will be the first one up. They offer made to measure . Meet with them they travel all over Us. Met with them great tailors. You should budget around 1200 to 1500 for made to measure.
Kirby I enjoy your videos but please please as a Highlander . It is ScOtland not Scatland!! There is only one “a” and it is the third letter from the end not the third letter from the start and also three from the end!!
As I watch, there are several differing thoughts coming into my mind. Firstly, is the very high production values of the series - when I remember the first ones, it’s like chalk and cheese. Is spending small fortunes on clothes and guns just to go and kill a few birds a good use of money in these troubled times? How much of our (UK) economy relies upon people enjoying the various traditions and spending money - thus leading to employment for many? If I had that amount of available cash, would I spend it on “nice to have” items? My answers are not certain and evolve. Should your available money go on luxuries and not donate a good operation to help those who badly need support. Well, I live in a house bigger now than my wife and I need; We don’t have a posh car but could certainly get from A to B in a cheaper model; we fly to Australia each year to see family and that’s certainly a luxury; killing for the table is fine and I don’t see a difference between pheasant shooting and raising sheep for the table; killing for sport alone, such as fox hunting, cannot be justified and there are much more efficient ways of achieving the goal than a bunch idiots on horseback ( I’m speaking as someone who had a pack of hounds come onto my land without any permission and have their pack nearly kill my dogs. When I remonstrated with the idiot in charge, his answers was that, once the pack, have a scent, they will follow it and the riders cannot control them; so, idiots in charge of dogs they cannot control). Yes, there is a section of the economy that relies upon people spending money following old traditions. Well, an “old tradition” is not a justification in itself; bear baiting and cock fighting were old traditions but there aren’t many who seek to justify those today. There is no conclusion to this except that, I guess, the vast majority of us spend time and money on things that are not absolutely essential to us. Can we justify this? I see how much money the various religions have in terms of properties, gold and silver ornaments and take from that the conclusion that the various churches are guilty of much greater hypocrisy than I.
If there were an "Emmys" for youtube series, this would be a top contender. So well done. Splendid. Thank you.
I concur! 🔥
top tier
Yeah for the DORK category

The Final Blessing! This is the culmination of all the hard work of Henry Poole & Co. Brilliant to see.
I can't imagine how much this series costed. I know kirby wanted to make a Netflix special, what a pity it didn't work out
You’re production value is incredibly high. Outstanding.
Thank you Kirby for producing this excellent, insightful series...it is super to know such heritage, traditions and history are still surviving...from a proud English man and Proud Brit 🇬🇧
Kirby, that suit really does look a million dollars! Huge congratulations to all involved ant Henry Poole!!
Even when you can not afford a fine suit such as this, It is still relaxing to watch it's creation
The suit fabric was absolutely beautiful. Impeccable craftsmanship. 👍
Who else was smiling from ear to ear when he got his final blessing…. Man. I really felt a part of this. Truly remarkable experience.
This is definitely the best looking suit I've seen in my life!
Blown away with the quality and content provided in this series. Thank you Kirby.
Alex was the best in the business. He was my cutter at Poole and I will miss him dearly. I considered him a friend.
I think the lines from the waist coat matched the trousers, incredible!
Wow, the way the pattern ran straight through from the wastecoat into the trousers, truely impressive.

Lol of you can afford it. This is a rich man’s game dude.
This is such a fascinating series. I’ve only discovered your videos a month ago but it’s a window into a world I was only passively aware of previously!
That suit looks like it fits like a glove. And the jacket fits perfectly around the neck and shoulders.
And can hardly gold the smirk smile BACK
That rollover on the break point is just 🤌
That three-piece suit is just class.
Absolutely stunning Kirby. Bravo
So exciting to see the whole process. Thank you Kirby. Your team need to be congratulated.

Fantastic three piece suit you have gotten Mr Allison! Looks great on you 👌
The way that suit fits... it's absolutely stunning.
The grey suit you have on looks absolutely perfect, I really like this.
This series has made me feel like if it was me going through the process… What an awesome project. Can’t wait for the next episode!!
At 7:04, I imagine this is about how Kirby looked at the alter as his soon-to-be wife said her vows.

What an amazing series!
The quality of production is exceptional.

Don’t worry. More guns coming…

It’s really interesting to see and know the process
👌👌

Brilliant series.
I think these clothes look awesome but I can't help to think that days of the fancy dress are ending.
PBS quality sir. Ken Burns would be proud.
this suit is super beautiful.
That is a beautiful suit Kirby
Amazing series !
It looks fantastic.
Would make a showcase of Eddie's completed bespoken suit? I would very much like to see how it came put❤

@@kirbyallison I will be there on the Saturday so will look out for you, ?.
Damn Simon Cundy with the baller AP Royal Oak?
Great suit, man. Personally I love the 3 buttons more than 2.
the button 3 goes better with this type of suit anyway, plus the trousers made it far more versatile
Bespoke tailors are not craftsmen. They are artists.

Did you say you are heading to Scotland?
id feel like a fish out of water in a shop like this...
Kirby,
Fantastic series thanks so much for this. Where is your prince of wales DB suit from? It’s your best!
I have a pair of Goodyear Welted leder-cuero shoes, the heals are nailed. Are they good quality and what would the retail price?
so, did you actually buy the brace of guns or do they have a rental thing? it seems an extortionate amount to give out for something you're not using often, and i dont know how easily they can be taken back and forth to the USA
Kirby are you getting any type of special boots for this shooting trip?
Look at you trying the vest on
When you are in Scottland, with a Purdey and Henry Poole hunting suit, you better not miss. 😁 Have you been getting a lot of practice in with your new guns Kirby?
Did you forget your overcoat there last time?
RIP Alex
Get down, booyyyy
I need to know if Kirby is just crazy rich or if these places discount/give him stuff for the feature
Sawn offs are out, people want a bit more range these days.
This guy is kinda the HOTT WINGS of UA-cam for the gentleman lifestyle
Are any of us Kirby fans going to have a guess as to how many braces he shoots on the day? I’m going to guess four brace

Locally I’d recommend Sid Mashburn. Otherwise, Divij if you have time.
Hardly HOLD
👌
ok how much has all this cost? Primark anyone
Based ASMR on UA-cam.
Are you picking up your empty hulls?

These days the Scottish mostly hunt with razor blades and kitchen knifes.
Kirby you need to get you a fade when you get a hair cut
Does Kirby have an actual job, 9-5?? Or does he only do UA-cam, YT only pays so much lol, and the man has pretty expensive taste
Why are we revisiting the loom again??? Get to the good bits. 🤦♂️

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. The trousers should be fuller to balance out the top and the lapels are slightly narrow.

only downside to this episode....too darn short
Looks the part until he opens his mouth
