I did a run with a Clorinde team on bottom half of Floor 12 and very easily cleared it first attempt (Diluc Plunge in first half). I found that even without a shielder, I wasnt getting knocked around much during her skill because her constant dashing really helped up her survivability. She is definitely a character that requires a lot more skill to use perfectly and I love that about her.
I wouldn’t say that she requires a lot more skill to be used perfectly, I would rather say that she requires a low ping to use her perfectly. You are basically doing the same sequence (3N1E) all the time while using her so I don’t think there is much skill needed for that.
@@bastol304the skill lies in ensuring she doesn't get hit during her infusion. Knowing when and where to dash to either maximise DPS, get out of harm's way or both. It's better to dodge an attack with her dash and lose some DPS than getting interrupted fully when hit and lose way more DPS. And as a 280ms player, she still feels great.
@@Mo_Shadows why would you use her E to dodge when you could just regular dash to dodge and then use the E for damage? If you're going to avoid an attack with E you might as well make sure you still hit them with it.

I will never understand Genshin's balancing decisions. On one hand, we can have some of the most overturned and overpowered characters ever made (Bennet, Neuvilette and Arlecchino) and on the other hand we have characters with unnecessary restrictions and nerfs (Cyno, Dehya and now Clorinde). Do they want to sell or not?
Being squished between Father and Dadd- I mean Neuvillette doesnt do her any favours. She is a solid main DPS, mote then good enough to comfortably clear Spiral Abyss. At the end of the day, Genshin isnt a competitive game and basically every character can be good.
I personally loved this character enough to c6- she’s so fun and fast. The only unit I want hoyo to give us, and so badly, is a hydro shielder - like we have for Cryo with Layla. I would use that character in so many teams😩
There is a cool build that's going the rounds on CN - it's not super meta and has ER issues but is really fun Chlorinde + Skyward Blade high refinement / Furina / Qiqi / Zhongli. Basically Qiqi's healing + cryo buffs Chlorinde and Skyward's phys chip damage with extreme fast application. It's like a new version of Machine Gun Fischl. Rotation starts with buffs then Chlorinde starts with Burst and then goes to work Might be a cool idea for next vid
Funny. People hate her but she's easily my favorite character out of Fontaine. I'm having a blast. She's clearing Abyss 12 with ease even with unoptimized gear and talents. She's been performing a lot better than I thought she would.
I don't even understand the hate. As Keqing main for over 3 years I can say for sure that underbuilt Clorinde with f2p craftable sword is WAY stronger than my C3 triple crowned Keqing with Mistsplitter. She clears the abyss in like 40-45 sec in f2p-friendly team (with Fischl, Kirara and Sucrose), what more do you expect from a dps?

One thing worth noting is that incoming healing bonus boosts her self-healing A LOT. More than you think. Even just a minor increase boosts it substantially. Why does that matter? Because Furina gives her party extra incoming healing. With Furina, Clorinde pretty much heals close to all of her HP with her skill. This is VERY useful in Abyss so you can be a little more unga bunga if youre not running a shield. Generally though, unless you run a shield then Clorinde feels higher skill ceiling than usual for 5*s. For this reason, i dont think Moga will enjoy her. No offense to him but yeah.
Yeah it’s pretty easy to forget it’s a 110% self heal (to clear the BoL first) so even getting a 30% bonus would give her about 33% extra health on each heal. I’m sure there’s some other factor too because I don’t believe it’s quite to the point of having one bonus and almost half her health can be restored on each skill dash, but she’s certainly not far off.
I'm honestly enjoying Clorinde. I like her design and character. As much as I love Keqing, I find Clorinde's playstyle more fun. She has some issues but just feels better to play than Keqing in aggravate. With my Nahida being c2, I might try out c6 Beidou with her.
Not too sure about energy cost or dmg loss but you could do Clorinde Baizhu Nahida and Kazuha or switch kazuha with fish You'll get a small sheild for some protection and lots of healing while being able to aggravate a lot more often
I feel xingqiu can help her a lot with his resistance to interruption and dmg reduction, plus more reactions and dmg, maybe a team like nahida fichel xingqiu clorinde could be very good
I’ve been using Clorinde with Furina, Nahida and Baizhu. It’s pretty comfy and I’ve had no issues with it. The Overload team (mine replacing Fischl with Beidou for Interruption Resistance) is possibly better but not as comfy in overworld. I tried a team recommended by Mr.Socks day 1 of Clorinde, Nahida, Fischl and Kazuha and really wasn’t into it. Oh hey, as a write that down, I see Moga’s using that same team and dying to the gravity pinwheel lol.
There is one issue. She's bugged when she's using her burst after Baizhu's cooldowns. Instead of increasing her bond of life he decreases it during her ult. It's been driving me crazy, kinda ruins the team.
@@phantasm5347 That’s because her Skill hasn’t been used yet. Her BOL reduces from healing like normal outside of her Skill. I tend to not really use her Burst because of how awkward it can be during rotations except to use it’s I-Frames to avoid damage or kinda like Yoimiya’s Burst at the end of a rotation so she starts the next one with a good amount of BOL already, even if it gets slightly reduced by Baizhu
those goddamn starfish things took me ages to get since i was NOT going underwater to get them because i am lazy. everything else i had a huge surplus of because i see crab i hit crab i am a simple person. The boos mats i just grinded while ago before we even knew about her. I always grind 46 of any boss mats at min during a week or so just in case something i want comes out and uses them so i dont have to grind them if anything notable needs them.
I found out that, at least for me on my account, her best performing and most comfortable team for Clorinde is in a taser team with Jean/Furina/Clorinde/Yelan. Yes I know it’s all 5 stars but these supports are meta and most higher level players have them anyways. With Furinas healing bonus on ult (yes most people forget that’s a thing) every Clorinde skill heals her to full HP. You have Jean for the VV and Furina stacking and yelan for more dmg and Clorinde buffing. I used it in the current abyss topside where you‘d want a shielder (triple Kenki and Coppelius stagger you a lot) but it went perfectly fine and the dmg output topped the aggrevate team with kazuha/nahida/clorinde/fischl by a lot, while being practically immortal. I know there’s no stagger resistance in that team (get good lmao), but for everybody who can run the team I highly recommend trying it out.
I enjoy playing her on mouse and keyboard, but on mobile or controller is super painful. When she E dashes through enemies, she doesn't turn around to keep the enemy hit targeted. Meaning you have to rotate camera a ton in single target.
Teams that worked good for me! Clorinde, jean, yelan/xingqiu, bennet/xiangling Clorinde, nahida, yelan, xingqiu Clorinde, raiden, chev, xiangling/thoma Clorinde, kazuha, raiden, sara There are loads of other teams for her, and some of the teams i mentioned are MUCH better than the other, like the overload team with clorinde, chev, xiangling/thoma, and raiden and the hyperbloom, Clorinde, yelan, xingqiu, nahida! Aggravate is also amazing with her! Raiden, Clorinde, Nahida, and some other dendro! And ofc there are way better replacements for some of these teams lol whatever works for you.
her highest DPS is actually with 4TF this is cause you can actually do 2E's per rotation with 4TF even though you will see smaller numbers compared to 4whimsy (though 4tf you need to use her in a dendro team). And if you're really uncomfortable getting interrupted, people actually suggest to use Kirara or Baizhu in that aggravate team. Clorinde with Furina is also one of her best teams atm, this is cause of the weird interaction with healing bonus that Furina gives and Clorinde's healing with her E, and quickbloom is also just good in general especially with Furina.
I threw 20 wishes at her banner to try to get Sethos. I have failed upward against the 2nd 50-50 in a row (first was Kazuha). Now i gotta fight that bloody seahorse!

I know I’m not Moga, but I’ll answer anyways. Obviously pull for whoever you want, but DPS wise, Wrio is superior. Clorinde is great, and super fun, but so is Wriothesley, and he’s got great resistance to interruption and a higher damage ceiling, with more varied teams. Personally, I’d definitely recommend Wrio!

At least if you have a clorinde with both alot of em and atk than her team can easily outdmg a melt wriothesley and plus wrio is much more single target and suffers from alot of timing and survival issues with clorinde as long as you play good you shouldnt have any gameplay problems
@@twilightfox2559 I have both Wrio and Clorinde at c0 and Clorinde is definitely better. Wrio's dmg at c0 isn't really consistent and Clorinde in an aggravate team does way more dmg.

a second team could be the same as yours, but with baizou instead of kazuha and furina instead of fishl. Sense baizou can buff elemental reactions of a chr, seems to work really well with her! and furina so then fishl dosnt steal any of the elemental reactions from clord.But mainly for furfur"s buffs.
The thing i hate about her is her low uptime if they had elemental skill reduction inbuilt or had lower downtime her gameplay doesn't feel fluid i somewhat regret pulling her 😅

So I don't have any actual teams to recommend but for god mode, I was wondering how well other normal attack buffers would work with her like Yunjin (plus wonder if her C6 would affect skill mode), xingqiu and yelan Etc.
At this point i dont even feel like pulling for any character cause the only challenging content in this game is spiral abyss floor 12 Wish they had something like simulated universe from hsr or illusive realm from wuwa where we can test each characters to their limits
Except they already announced that the new Imaginarium Theatre gamemode is coming this patch in July. So for now, I'd recommend you get as many characters to level 70 as possible
People complaining about Clorinde are so...🤨 Friend of mine got her and he cleared Floor 12 with her with ease even though she isn't highly invested). GI is a game, in which you can play units which are fun to you, because they don't need the highest damage output to get you through the most difficult content.
@@v0id I mean, I also love my Alhaitham, because he can dish out amazing damage, but the most fun in GI (at least for me) is, that I can build and play ANY character I want and stil won't struggle with content. I play charas, which other players won't even give a second glance, because I love them. Heck, my Main DPS has been Kaeya since I started playing the game more than two years ago. 😘
@@緑-x6z Its just that hoyo is really doo doo with balancing characters and clorinde doesnt feel balanced at all. To comfortably play her (not even damage potential) you need c2. She is just wayyyy to squishy otherwise. Id like to say that I play with 250-300 ping, so comfortability is a MAJOR aspect for me (hard to dodge), especially since hoyo with all their fricking money, cant expand server locations.

Ok I hated her, but since she does normal attack damage, she works with Beidou who in exchange gives a small shield, interruption resistance and electro shred. So I play Clorinde/Fischl/Beidou/Nahida and it's going pretty well, such a shame she has Neuvillette's talent but can't make good use of it.

She got nerfed for no reason, she wasn't op before but now her dps window is very limited.

The cool thing about her c2 and c1 is how they synergize. The c1 extra attacks apply her a1 passive which gets buffed by her c2

I use her with chevreuse, miko and deyha. No issues with getting interrupted!

Clorinde is great, and super fun, but so is Wriothesley, and he’s got great resistance to interruption and a higher damage ceiling, with more varied teams. Personally, I’d definitely recommend Wrio!

At least if you have a clorinde with both alot of em and atk than her team can easily outdmg a melt wriothesley and plus wrio is much more single target and suffers from alot of timing and survival issues with clorinde as long as you play good you shouldnt have any gameplay problems
@@twilightfox2559 I have both Wrio and Clorinde at c0 and Clorinde is definitely better. Wrio's dmg at c0 isn't really consistent and Clorinde in an aggravate team does way more dmg.

a second team could be the same as yours, but with baizou instead of kazuha and furina instead of fishl. Sense baizou can buff elemental reactions of a chr, seems to work really well with her! and furina so then fishl dosnt steal any of the elemental reactions from clord.But mainly for furfur"s buffs.
The thing i hate about her is her low uptime if they had elemental skill reduction inbuilt or had lower downtime

As long as you are fast with the rotations your survival should be fine and you whouldnt get interrupted either bcs she has an implint dash

It depends on the level of investment though.

So I don't have any actual teams to recommend but for god mode, I was wondering how well other normal attack buffers would work with her like Yunjin (plus wonder if her C6 would affect skill mode), xingqiu and yelan Etc.
At this point i dont even feel like pulling for any character cause the only challenging content in this game is spiral abyss floor 12
Wish they had something like simulated universe from hsr or illusive realm from wuwa where we can test each characters to their limits
Except they already announced that the new Imaginarium Theatre gamemode is coming this patch in July. So for now, I'd recommend you get as many characters to level 70 as possible
This is an easy way to get burnt out, pull for fun and team variety rather than being stuck with the same teams for years.

People complaining about Clorinde are so...🤨 Friend of mine got her and he cleared Floor 12 with her with ease even though she isn't highly invested). GI is a game, in which you can play units which are fun to you, because they don't need the highest damage output to get you through the most difficult content.
You're not wrong, I think most people want every dps to be Neuv, Arle or Alhaitham level
@@v0id I mean, I also love my Alhaitham, because he can dish out amazing damage, but the most fun in GI (at least for me) is, that I can build and play ANY character I want and stil won't struggle with content. I play charas, which other players won't even give a second glance, because I love them. Heck, my Main DPS has been Kaeya since I started playing the game more than two years ago. 😘
@@緑-x6z Its just that hoyo is really doo doo with balancing characters and clorinde doesnt feel balanced at all. To comfortably play her (not even damage potential) you need c2. She is just wayyyy to squishy otherwise. Id like to say that I play with 250-300 ping, so comfortability is a MAJOR aspect for me (hard to dodge), especially since hoyo with all their fricking money, cant expand server locations.
I cleared abyss with clorinde at lvl 80/80 with 1 3 3 talents and with lions roar and with fichel nahida xingqiu team, she's amazing

However, as somebody who tried WuWa and had to deinstall after a few days, because the ping was all over the place, I understand. Never had this issue in GI though! It runs as smooth as butter!

Ok I hated her, but since she does normal attack damage, she works with Beidou who in exchange gives a small shield, interruption resistance and electro shred. So I play Clorinde/Fischl/Beidou/Nahida and it's going pretty well, such a shame she has Neuvillette's talent but can't make good use of it.
Wym cant make good use of it its not seperate reactions even if you do 3 agravated by 3 characters at the same tine itll still give you full buff

I think she'll have good casual appeal, personally. She is less at risk than Arl is, and she feels nice and spammy, not kinda boring like Neuv.
