Amen! And God bless the officers. Also, it is wonderful to see a Pastor out there like John the Baptist baptizing and preaching at the water, where you can immediately be baptized. In the Churches, if you want to get baptize you have to go through classes and counseling, which is not biblical. The Holy Spirit leads the person after getting baptize, and they continue at Church. It's not the Churches job to hinder the process.

I like how easily you can recognise God's people, the lgbt members (who call themselves defenders of LOVE) were screaming, trowing stuff, spitting, but the christians who wanted to join the preacher were calm, even in the middle of such madness, they were approaching him with no pride, calm voices and a faithful heart. This made me cry. Also, shoutout to the officers for keeping our brothers and sisters in Christ safe.

I was gay and genderfluid. Living my life while dating someone who was trans. I was an avid supporter of the LGBT. I thought I was born this way, I thought it was the right way and that everyone else was wrong.
I was like this for awhile until God came into my life. I was a heavy drinker and I started getting panic attacks while I was drunk. I stopped drinking and I got really scared when the attacks began happening while I was sober. It was agony, every day trying to fend off this mind consuming anxiety and I couldn't figure out why. I thought I was going to a spiritual "awakening" ascending to a higher elevation of "life". But in reality, I was dying. Slowly and painfully because of my sin.
One night I got this weird feeling that washed over me. It was like my body started fading away but my mind was alert. I went to go lay down on the bed and I remember staring up at the ceiling.i remember knowing in my mind that if I go to sleep tonight, I'm going to die.
But the scariest part is that I KNEW, in my mind I just knew that I was going to go to the lake of fire.
After that I cried out to the Lord to forgive me, I started reading the Bible and walking in the Lord's laws and commandments. Doing Sabbath, not lying (I lied all the time), trying to be good and do good for God and the world! A year and some months later I've never been happier.
I feel good being a woman, I feel secure and confident knowing I am a woman and accepting. I feel good not having that lustful spirit of sodomy in my mind all the time, it feels good to be alive and no longer experiencing any panic attacks. The Lord changed me, and I can never be more grateful.
I pray that anyone who might be LGBT, whether you've come here to debate people or to simply observe. I KNOW how you feel, that insecurity of never feeling right in your own body. Never feeling happy with your appearance, and feeling consumed with loving the same gender. I know it's hard, overwhelming, and very toxic. But there IS a way out. Repent now while you still can. The Lord is coming back soon, whether you believe it or not and he will not be merciful to any of the wicked.
You CAN change, you were not BORN this way. Don't listen to the lies and sweet delusions of this community, listen to what your own body is telling you, and what God tells you.
Follow the Lord's laws and commandments, again, while you still can. Turn away from this wicked society and the deep rooted paganism they try to make us to follow (holidays, Sunday Worship) find God and live!!! Forever not just the 80-90 years we get. I love you all and if you read this, thank you and bless you for listening at all. I pray for peace on your households and strength as you walk through this valley of the shadow of death.

You can be a Christian and have salvation too! Gospel means good news, and the good news is all about Jesus and what He did for all of us on the cross so that we could be saved. Salvation is a free gift that God is offering us. We're all sinners, and what Jesus did on the cross was He took the punishment for our sins, so if we repent, turn away from sin, and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then we will be saved. Jesus Himself got baptized because everything He did while on earth was to be the perfect example for us in what to do and how to live. Being baptized is a public declaration that you have made the decision to follow Jesus for the rest of eternity!
You can get baptized anywhere in theory - the enuich was baptized in a puddle on the side of the road! When my husband first became a beleiver, he wanted to be baptized then and there because he was called to profess his faith and his pastor went to his home and baptized him in his bathtub that night! And any Christian can baptise another Christian - it doesn't have to be by a pastor. BUT you should get baptized in your home church because you will be surrounded by those in your church family who can help you on your journey, everyday growing nearer to God. Yes, all Christians are part of the ekklesia (body of Christ) and are all a church family around the world, but you will have your home church with beleivers you will build a close relationship with. Christians need to go to church. We are called to be in community with other beleivers. It doesn't have to be a big church. If you live in a small town with only one church, but you don't feel that they don't preach the Word properly or aren't sticking to Biblical truths, then at the very least you need to find other beleivers and get together with them on a regular basis - in your home even - and have that community. That is a very important part. But you should find a church that preaches the Word of God faithfully, and sticks to biblical principles and make that church your home. It can be difficult these days as a lot of churches are including the LGB stuff into their churches and are trying to please the world rather than please God. But take the time to research and find a good, Bible believing church and make that your home

I think we're in this mess precisely because so many Canadians and Americans turned Christianity into a joke to be mocked and scorned.

I think that your intention was fine. No need to feel bad for making a joke. We HAVE to be able to still joke around. This inspires me as a young christain, I'm sitting here with a call of God on my life to go into ministry not only does this scare me just a little but it mainly gives me hope that there is a world that Is so lost that Jesus came to seek and save. I started drawing a crowd. The people were open to the message. Then the cops arrived. One young cop tried to shut me down. The older cops took him aside an schooled him.
