Explaination:
We see here that the "heart of the earth" would actually mean "death." so counting the numbers of days ofJesus Christ's death from friday afternoon to sunday doesn't translate to 3days and 3 nights. Does that mean the Bible is not accurate? No!
First of all, let's analyze the meaning of the word" death" under the definition defined from the beginning of creation.
Let's go back to the garden of Eden and review what happened.
God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledhe of good and evil, or else, they shall surely die.
Now, after they transgress God's commandment, did they automatically died? Certainly not, but they started to deteriorate and suffer the consequences of their sin. So that's how the word death was defined in the beginning
Now, going back to the topic, how can we say Jesus Christ fulfilled the prophecy?
Point 1: when did Jesus Christ started the submittion through suffering?
Answer: Thursday evening
Point 2: when did Jesus rose up from death
Answer: Sunday morning
Analyze:
Evening: Thursday, Friday, Sat- 3 nights
Morning: Friday, Saturday, Sun- 3 days
The Bible is the Word of God!

“Three days and three nights" is called a linguistic
idiom - a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible
from those of the individual words. Several times Jesus says that on the third
day he will be raised. Usage in the Old Testament book of Esther
has the same expression in Esther ch 4, and it reads that on the third day in
chapter 5 is when the fast was complete. If it was meant to mean 72 hours,

The verse you've quoted does not prove that he is claiming to be God. All the prophet's have claimed to be the way to God. That doesn't mean they are devine. And there are many places in the bible where jesus claims to be son of man. Even in his human characteristics such as birth, grew old, got tired, got hungry, had to sleep, had to bleed, had to die.

@you're confusing bible versions to bible translations. Its all the same but there have been different translations for people to get easier or more understandable text out of it. Theres only one Holy Bible. Having different translations is a luxury that is not necessarily needed but beneficial for all readers. The message is literally the same. I've watched quite a few of these now where he "quotes the bible " but leaves out the words immediate to his "quote" which totally reverse the meaning. Surely he can't NOT KNOW that:
1) it's a lie,
2) that what HE claims to prove whether Christianity or Islam is true therefore proves Islam falsely. Yet he ,still, continues with a career he KNOWS is an insult to genuine believers of ALL faiths & to God.
Does he actually believe in God at all? I really wonder. If he believes in a spiritual being who would want him to this surely that would define worshiping the OPPOSITE of God. I don't say that reflects Islam. I'm just talking of what I see & hear him doing. You tell me is that what Muslim apologists do? Is that Islam ?
