really enjoyed this. Teri is a FB friend and I sent it to her, I was pretty sure she had already seen this but as it turned out she had not. You will be happy to know this was her response -----
I've been a lifelong fan of hers and not too long ago I learned that she loves cats which makes me like her even more.
I'm by profession a Jazz and Tap Dance Chorographer/teacher and protégé of the great late Phil Black who is credited with an Emmy for his Chorography work on "Unicorn tails" (Children's Television), and original choreographer for "the tap dance kind" when it was first created for TV and later adapted to Broadway. Someone other worked the stage production.
I love this music track in particular. Im kicking myself for not having thought to develop a tap number for it as is seen here that is is clearly possible. However, my training conditioned me to work with music of the time period. Benny Goodman, and and other standard tunes.
You have done something really wondaful here, so thank you for sharing this. It is truly inspiring me to do something with her music. I now feel comfortable braking away from the more conventional structure. I have one question... which musical is this dance number from? Thank you. I will be sure to continue following you works.
Thank you for forwarding the video to Teri de Sario and sharing her response here. I've been a huge fan since first hearing her song decades ago. I never fail to listen to it over and over whenever I get the chance. Its upbeat tempo is so uplifting it makes you want to get up and dance. I love to watch people dance the swing and I'm not one to dance myself but not too long ago, someone pulled me to the dance floor when this music started playing and for once I didn't resist and truly enjoyed it. The steps just came to me while an experienced partner led the way and it was so much fun! My love for this song inspired me to mash it up with this video of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. I just woke up one day and imagined the song being danced in tap so I went to find something that would match. I did very little tweaking of the video because it just dropped and matched the tempo. I have since done the same with some of my other favorite songs which I would like to share the link here so you could view and enjoy them as much as I enjoyed editing them. Again thank you for taking the time to post your comment and sharing your thoughts. Will come back to this thread and share more mashed up dance video links from our UA-cam channel.
@@creativeconceptsintl she is as much an angel as her voice projects she is. You must spend a lot of time working on making these video... it seems very labor intensive but it's worth it when it makes people feel good and the levity we all need in our daily lives. Well done.

I discovered this today and I have enjoyed watching numerous times. Both because I love tap dancing and to say that I love this song does not even cover it. When you look at it, you realize it is possible, however, as for the sounds generated by this choreography that may possibly be debatable, but you can definitely match up tap dancing with this music and make it work beautifully as it's on a clean and steady 4/4 Time Signatures. (All time steps break on 4 and there are infinite time steps)
