If you like art towns and traditional towns, it is recommended to visit Dali, Yunnan or the ancient town of Lijiang, where there are many beautiful handicraft workshops and art shops. The scenery is beautiful, with snow-capped mountains and lakes.

there was a time period when the Chinese to English translation was poor and funny, aka chinglish. Hope that has improved
If your talking about Apps, they do great. If your talking about translated signs, I only have come across a couple that have been funny.

The Oct. 1 national holiday is fast approaching. Hope you already planned your trip and stays as traveling and lodging may be very difficult during that time.

@@JasminiagThere’s a famous pottery town called Jingde town seems not to far away from Fuzhou (don’t know if there’s a direct way getting there due to terrain). But if you like artsy small town this may suit you.

I collect antique Fujian Jian tea bowls produced here during the 12th century Southern Song Dynasty.
I would love to visit their local museums to see these Jian tea bowls.

Not all the time, but most of the time I feel they offer a little more then the average hotel.
