    I work with wire all the time. I first picked it up in 1996 when I took a wire wrapping class. I spiral my own wire to make jump rings. Seeing what you have created here makes me realize I can always learn something new. Thank you, I can't wait to incorporate it into my own style.

    I am amazed. What an absolute gorgeous bracelet. I am a novice trying to soak up as much as I can, I will give this a try, as the end result is absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent, I appreciate it and enjoyed this tutorial. I am a bit intimidated with the soldering, but I will learn thru trial and error, after all that's how we learn. Thanks again!

    Watched a couple of your videos and thoroughly enjoyed them. I am going to attempt the triple corkscrew myself. Will let you know how I make out. Am interested in knowing what you use to to apply patena. I have listened to video a couple of times and only hear sulphur and warm water. I was able to find your parts list once but it seems to have disappearded. I also am playing around with rings , which I make from brass or stainless steel. Do you know if the sulphur solution would alter the appearance? You are truly an amazing artisan. Keep up the good work. Jim

    If you need it straighten cut it slightly longer a put one end in a vice ab the other end in a pair of vice grips tightly and with a little bow in it yank the players away from the vice hard and it will be almost perfect with out beating the snot out of it

    Once the bracelet is silver-plated would one still have the benefit of wearing copper. Is this style considered for females only or could a man wear this style?

    • @FlatwearableArtisanJewelry
      @FlatwearableArtisanJewelry  2 роки тому +1

      That's a good question. In essence the silver seals off the copper so my guess would be no.

    I heard you say something about protect a clear can you tell me more about it
    I was trying renesance wax and that's not to easy to get it done
    Rubbing it in to the crevesis of a course peace were it can be far easier to do if it were Abel to be diped were it is not and this product you mentioned has me very interested and intregued
    We're will one find all the gems you have discussed the jig and the clear coat please share this information very interested in your welth of knowledge on these items of yours

    • @FlatwearableArtisanJewelry
      @FlatwearableArtisanJewelry  2 роки тому

      Ren wax is a great product but when using it on jewelry it must be reapplied on a regular basis. Protectaclear is a dip and with several coats you have a very long lasting seal coat. You can see it used in our recent video, ua-cam.com/video/sNZIKFxrWOk/v-deo.html

    Two quick questions: 1)What happens if the inner core wires are the same gage as the coiling wires? 2)What would happen if the coils were oriented the same direction instead of clockwise-anti clockwise-clockwise? I would really like to see a video of either of those two scenarios, or both. Thank you! (Great design by the way!)

    • @FlatwearableArtisanJewelry
      @FlatwearableArtisanJewelry  2 роки тому +2

      You can use any gauge wires for any part of the bracelet. You can also wind everything in the same direction. Every change you make gives a different look.

      @@FlatwearableArtisanJewelry Aaaand thank you Captain Obvious! I was expecting a more professional answer such as: a) if the core wires are thinner, you'll go through more coiling wire on the outside, b) if the core wires are thicker, you'll go through less coiling wire, c) if the coils all run in the same direction, your pattern will not be a chevron weave at the end, etc., etc. Thank GOD there are other experts out there who are better capable of explaining things than you are! Your reply was no different than a doctor saying to a patient, "if you take pill B instead of pill A your results will be different but you can certainly choose pill A." Well, duh!
      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      According to your response you already have the answers to your questions. My goal is to show you techniques. The rest is up to you.

      To Lost Without Her: instead of a nasty reply why not just experiment and find out yourself? Seems like a much nicer approach than attacking the artist right?

Please enjoy this free parenting with my pleasure you spoiled brat.

    This would be beautiful if you dipped it in some liver of sulfur and then used the brass brush on it to take off some of the hi-lights! Oh, and just a tip… when you’re hammering on the mandrel, be sure to flip it the other way so that both sides are the same! Awesome bracelet! So is the double row!😎

    • @FlatwearableArtisanJewelry
      @FlatwearableArtisanJewelry  2 роки тому +2

      I use LOS frequently and yes, I do flip rings and bracelets on the mandrel when shaping.

      @@FlatwearableArtisanJewelry Right on! You do awesome work and make it look so easy to do! I’m pretty sure it’s not that simple but I’m definitely going to give it a shot. I appreciate you sharing your work. Many artists like to keep their art to themselves so I think you’re pretty special!
