      Best is when Robert brings Raymond over to ask again, and Ray right when he meets them looks down at the Jesus pic on the table and says - "is that the guy selling tie dye t- shirts down at the beach?" 😂😂... Roberts face is priceless

    Brad Garrett, Georgia Engel, and Fred Willard are three actors with tremendous comic timing. Appreciated their craft.

    Georgia Engel as Amy mother is hilarious. She had the dry sense of humor in Mary Tyler Moore show too! RIP

      I always say, most comedies bring in other characters in the end seasons and it just doesn't seem to work, leading to the series' demise. Bringing in Ms. Engel and father just enhanced ELR all the more, a show that was already top notch!

    They were right to not give Robert their blessing. He led Amy along too many times, juggled two other women while dating her and their relationship was quite on and off for seven years.

    I understood why they said no. Robert didn't treat Amy well at all, cheated on her, being indecisive. They truly wanted their daughter to be happy.
