Went to a Slash concert with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and Slash started this solo for what seemed like an eternity during one of their songs. I have never been in such awe over a musician doing that, and I loved every second of it. I was like 19 at the time, and the first time I saw him. Never lost that respect for the man since then.

He's a wonderful guitarist but he's human and makes mistakes too. Still you can think what you like, I just personally feel that this was awful playing.

Falcon Powerful I've played guitar for almost seven years now. I feel that if you showed this video to Slash he'd say the same thing about his playing. He's a wonderful guitarist but he's human and makes mistakes too.

@@jaepcam Slash is definitely a legend. His songwriting ability is top tier. Being a great lead guitarist is more than being technically proficient like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. It's also about having a unique guitar style and songwriting ability. Slash is definitely above average. He isn't my favorite guitarist in the world, but he is better than most of today's guitarists.

Try saying that for literally ANY of these new groups lol. All the Gen Z music out nowadays sounds exactly the same and the guitarists aren't even close to the skill level of Slash. Slash's tone and guitar style is very unique and recognizable. Even when he was doing solo work and was working with different bands (Velvet Revolver and Slash's Snakepit) I could easily recognize it was him on the guitar.
I've heard Appetite For Destruction probably over 1000 times so I would recognize his sound immediately, but don't consider him a legend. You'd recognize Pee Wee Herman's voice in a second. Would you consider him a legend?@@BigDaddySwingingMeat
