I recently heard someone say that you need to become the thing you are looking for in a spouse. If you want a Godly woman who is loving, kind, and all the rest, you need to become loving and kind yourself. As a Christian, you need a spouse who is willing to grow with you in the faith, but in order to find someone like that, you should already be growing in the faith as a single person--Spend time daily in prayer and Bible study and apply biblical principles to all areas of your life--and that includes your dating life. Those who are not interested in growing spiritually will cull themselves out of the herd, so to speak, as they will not be interested in being in a relationship with someone who is sold out to God. But if you are sold out to God, you will become that much more attractive to someone who is also sold out to God.
Lovely and educating conversation. Selflessness is what I can deduce from this. A lot of people misconstrue words and think their partner is their better half...No!
We need to trust God with everything, even our relationships. Some people are not meant to find a partner but serve God with all their lives, like Paul. That isn't in any way lesser than marriage. For those whom God has given the gift of marriage, it is a different way from which they can honor and please God. Everything for his glory.
This was a good discussion. I appreciate your comments about communication. Communication is vital to the success of any relationship. Thanks for sharing!
When the Lord is ready he will supply you, both of you will find each other
This is a very important topic. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
