Re Neet is not remotely fair to those thousands of students who put in their heart and soul into this in the last couple of years. I know one of the toppers and that boy has been preparing for this from class 7 and made numerous sacrifices to get to this level. Since the controversy erupted the poor boy is in severe mental stress. There are thousands like him.

There's no way other than Re-Neet in order to drop cut-off of this year's Neet exam.
A significant amount of students got question paper prior 16+ hours of exam.
Ministry can't trace the red handed in any way other than the former step.
Considering if the exam isn't conducted again, the government medical seats which are anyways less with respect to the number of students, will be handed over to a lot of undeserving lads.

@Wingsoffuture-jq9iz1st paper leak is not rubbish, bihar police already arrested some of the accused on 4th May itself & as far as I remember the news then from my local newspaper (I'm from bihar btw ), the police also informed exam conducting body tht maybe neet paper has got leaked tht day itself ...wht did the nta do, nothing...denied everything & did not even cooperate a percent with eou... These all stuff happen in may itself ....if the nta wanted they could hv save the exams, used backup papers but they did nothing... 16 students from diff states chose tht 1 godhra center in Gujarat.. U know u can choose state/city but no one knows which center they r getting... The coordinator of tht center assigned by nta got caught with 1.5cr(in his white car) by Gujarat police on 5-6 may..oh btw nta + edu minister denied tht too then (not now obviously)... Now imagine how many godhras would hv been left unchecked by police, no one knows, how in the world those 16 students knew tht ,ok tht school will be my center ....if the nta actually cared about neet, a cooperation+ detail investigation then could hv separated frauds from genuine students... 2nd u said increase competition, isn't it nta who allowed not pure bio students to be eligible from this yr in neet & let's not forget 9-10th April, a reopen registration after an entire month ,tht again is sus ...3rd ppl from 6 diff states hv been arrested so far ,2 teachers, 2 coaching owners, some mafia/setter gang members, from them 2 has connections with big politicians (there r pictures as proof),their son/daughters/family member r also doctors ironically ...now look at the new nt@ dg, tht man is vyapam case accused(one of the)+ has connections with bjp rss ,surprisingly this past of his has been erased from internet, maybe u can find it after some search... 4th neet/medical paper being leaked is nothing new, the diff is the word mass... The statistics of previous yrs +score card with grace marks which never happened in neet exam itself is proof enough tht this yr we r getting neet scam at obvious levels, surprisingly it's also the yr of elections, hmm where do u think tht big chunk of money earned from scam went .....
